Brean Down is a beautiful hill with breathtaking views and natural scenery. At the end there is an iron-age hill fort bursting with local history and ruins and dungeons to explore. If climbing the Down is a little much then a nice stroll on the dog-friendly beach is the perfect way of relaxing, while getting some fresh air. There is a National Trust carpark and cafe at Brean Down. The opening hours vary throughout the year so check out their website for current information.

At the North end of the Promenade and worth a visit. If you walk further on you will get to Marine Cove.

Delicious and very reasonably priced food. Definitely worth a walk all the way to the end of the Promenade. Beautiful views from the Terrace Bar.
