These falls pour into Tupper Lake, and are not to be missed. Many slide down the rocks in the falls, but extreme caution should be taken as the flow is very strong with many rocks. A beautiful vista just a short drive from the cabin.

Great shopping along Main Street/Mirror Lake, located just about a 40 minute drive from the cabin. Much to do, including the Olympic Museum, gondola rides, and year-round events. Lake Placid makes a great day trip, especially on a rainy day/for a change of scenery, and you will happily return to the peace and quiet of the cabin on Tupper Lake!

The Washboard Donut Shop is a staple in Tupper Lake. The Shenandoah Indian Art & Crafts store, The Laundromat, and The Donut Shop have been located at 48 Park Street since 1990. The freshly-made donuts are not to be missed, and last we were there the Donut Shop was open as early at 6:00! The eclectic store within the Donut Shop and Laundromat is definitely worth a look - especially if you find yourself needing to do laundry during your visit!
