This Turn of the Century town, located on Intermediate Lake, is the home of several unique gift shops...Adams Madams, Central Lake Pharmacy, and Bachmann's Variety Store, probably the last true five and dime left in Michigan. The Blue Pelican Restaurant offers nightly specials and is a favorite of both tourists and locals alike.

East Jordan is going through the growing pains of a town that will quickly become a tourist designation much like it's sister city of Boyne City did ten years ago. The Foundry is a new restaurant in town and there are some great little shops including the used bookstore and Crossroads Resale Shop.

Who doesn't love a town that hasn't given themselves completely over to tourism? Boyne is filled with everything imaginable from a public beach, many different types of shops, great places to eat, and several blocks to just walk and take in all the sights any time of the year.
