Amazingly cool place to hang out either for just drinks or to eat. Traditional and apparently haunted bar and restaurant. Food is lovely and the atmosphere and surroundings are just amazing. Sit outside and people watch and look at the Water of Leith.

Love cakes? Love Mimi's. Incredibly popular place, and it would appear you can have an afternoon tea with fizz! And it is only 2 minutes walk away from the flat!!

Situated on the iconic Cockburn Street just off the High Street, this is a must for trying the traditional delicious Scottish dish in an ancient and historical building. And then a nip of your whisky of choice!

Tucked away down a fairy lit close, Monteiths is a fantastic find! With amazing decor, fantastic cocktails, and a lovely wine list, this is an intimate setting in which to enjoy really really good food, beautifully cooked. I would always book.

I LOVE Pickles. It is a cozy little bar with the BEST olives and platters of cheese and/or meats with lovely fresh bread and a great wine list. The decor is just perfect. I could move in to Pickles and happily spend the rest of my life in there!
