With limited seating and a lot of buzz (every year), it is hard to find a seat during the rush hours of the day. However, if you can find the off-hours (weekdays - early dinner etc), this will make your visit to Boston complete!

I love sushi and for that reason Cafe Sushi is my favorite Boston/Cambridge restaurant. Grab a seat at the sushi bar and have a conversation with the two owners (Brothers). They are awesome. Their food is off the charts. A must.

Local tip...they have very few tables and don't take reservations so you are almost always guaranteed an outrageous wait. However, you can go to the MET bar that is attached via a common corridor and can bring you beverage with you when your table is finally ready.

Adding this to the list as it really is an institution in China town. My family has been going there for 30+ years and it is classic Cantonese food and great time. Yes, it is in a quasi/english basement but the food is phenomenal.

Faccia is just another example of the Ken Oringer team's brilliance. AND, it is a very easy walk from the unit. Highly recommend. Tough res to get but key is to use Resy's waitlist function - never had an issue.

The obvious yet still a requirement! As US cities go, Boston has so much history and you can get lost along the Freedom Trail but a tour of Boston will never really be whole unless you touch Fenway along the way.

A ton of fun and great little spots like Mike's Pastry or Modern Pastry (Cash only), as well as a personal favorite Mare and Neptune (mentioned earlier in the guide). The North End gets extremely busy during the summer months so be warned if crowds aren't your thing.

City advice

Getting around

Don't be afraid to ask for directions!

Boston can be a very confusing City to navigate. Despite our horrible accents and general rude demeanor, we are actually a fun loving bunch that will help anyone in need.
What to pack

Check the weather - pack for seasons!

Boston is one of those cities where it really depends where you are and what you plan to do. If you are going to be on or near the water - guaranteed it'll be cooler and not just by a degree or two but about 10. Always bring something long sleeved or a pullover during the shoulder and even summer months. Winter time - gear up. It is cold!
