Laid-back tavern with community tables, a warm fireplace & elevated pub food out of a wood oven. One of the best selections of beers in the town. In February, make sure to drop by for Stout Month. Cash only.

This is a local, small batch ice cream shop. Ice cream is made fresh daily with classic and rotating, inventive flavors. If you can only go once, try their ice cream sandwiches or their root beer floats (with house-made root beer).

Entertainment & Activities

This is my favorite yoga spot. Their drop-in rate is a little hefty at $17, but they have the most incredible teachers.

Parks & Nature

This is a moderate hike, consistent uphill (excellent views), about 2 hrs round trip, if you’re not accustomed to the altitude, plan for many stops and bring extra water. This is a popular trail and a clear route. Dogs are welcome on leash. Parking is easy, along the road, just after the hospital, or across the road there is a hiking parking area.
