This historical farm was built using money inherited from railroad magnate William Henry Vanderbilt. Until the late 1930's the Breeding Barn was the nations largest open structure. Today, the farm is a nonprofit organization educating for a sustainable future. The home campus is a 1,400-acre working farm, forest, and National Historic Landmark. It has great walking paths.
