Really enjoyed my stay was just like being at home on the road.host was awsome just like staying with family but they leave. the movie box was nice, grocery store was close, loved the kitchen, the shower was awsome and all the amenities of home would defiantly stay agian

Very accommodating host, gave us a full rundown on the place and then left us be. Place was a little rundown but homey, apart from kitchen which was a delight to use. Good experience and worth the price.

The host was very helpful and the place was everything we had hoped for and more. She was very generous with breakfast and even invited us out to a pot luck! the close location to beaches and a farmer's market made the start very enjoyable!

She has let through the mail to know how we could get into the house when she was not there. That was well organized! There was a note ready written with the foregoing and the next morning she came to ask if everything was alright.

Jeannie was at the place ready to greet us right as we got there! The place was really easy to find and in a great spot for exploring Simcoe and the surrounding areas. We had a lot of fun going out and exploring the wineries/breweries, as well as relaxing at home and using their beautiful kitchen to make a home-made meal with fresh ingredients from the farms nearby! The place itself was very spacious and clean. Well worth it to spend some time here! It's truly a home away from home! Would stay here again anytime :)

Great place to get away, quite, clean and close to main part of town.

It was my second time staying in this beautiful cottage, i have nothing but good to say about this great place !

We were very impressed with how neat and tidy the cabin was when we arrived. All the utensils and cookware are readily available. Access to the private beach with kayaks for our use was was very nice to have. Nice view of the lake from the back deck to sit and enjoy a coffee in the morning or enjoy dinner at night. We were only up for 2 nights but everything was thought of and it made it easy for us to relax and unwind. Would recommend for any couple or small family.

Having my private beach was a delight!! the cottage was clean, kitchen was well equipped, and a nice BBQ is outside. no noise from outside, it is walking distance to Port Dover center and very close to the grocery store (5 min by car). I really appreciated the place and obviously the water view! I'm looking forward to return there tomorrow!

This is a great place. We sat on the deck and had our meals, with a view of Lake Erie. It was beautiful! And there's a private beach on the property, albeit with a steep climb, but it was wonderful. The cottage itself has everything you could want. Dawn has thought of everything, from salt and pepper to condiments. And it was absolutely spotless!

Place was fantastic

Dawn's Port Dover Delight was an amazing getaway for our family of three. The cottage provided all amenities as described and if we needed something, Dawn was very responsive and accommodating. Because Lake Erie water levels are so high this year, the beach was somewhat diminished, but with the amount of ways to enjoy the lake at this cottage, it wasn't a big deal. There's a nice, large deck just a few feet above the water that more than makes up for it. Having the kayaks and PFDs to use was a great amenity that we took advantage of several times. The cottage's location near (but not too close to) downtown Port Dover meant we were just a short walk to everything there is to see and do there. This Airbnb experience was "just right."

Dawn's place is very nice, clean and super close to port dover beach. We couldn't use the private beach because of the level of the lake but it is great to kayac to the main beach and to chill in the deck. Totally recomended.

What more could you ask for.... for the most part you have the entire house. Your living quarters are in a modern finished basement with a large bedroom, bathroom and comfortable entertainment centre. You have use of the kitchen, bbq, and hot tub.

Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Very nice couple with the best intentions for their guests. The home is exactly what is described and located in a nice quiet neighborhood. 5 min drive from the marina which was perfect for Pottahawk. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for your stay. Amazing bang for your buck!

Claudia and Neil are excellent hosts with a beautiful home. It was very neat and clean, they us showed where everything was and how to use it, including the hot tub with the great view. The bed was comfy and the sheets were very nice. Their home is only a few minutes drive to the Port Dover beach and the main drag. They were helpful with restaurant suggestions and events going on in the area. We would stay again for sure.

My wife and I knew we were in good hands when my wife asked Claudia and Neil to accommodate her sensitivity to synthetic scents. So no air freshener, no scented candles, no bedsheets or towels treated with detergent or fabric softener. I thought for sure a deal breaker. But not for Claudia and Neil. They went out of their way to accommodate us. When we arrived and as they showed us around their lovely home, my wife had no reactions whatsoever. I consider this above the call of duty and highly appreciated. Neil was great. He showed me how to work the BBQ and when he noticed we didn’t have a beach umbrella, he quickly lent us his. they offered themselves available for questions via texting and pretty much emptied their fridge to make room for our food. The place was very clean and comfortable. All in all amazing hosts and amazing home. Can’t wait to do again. Jorge and Inbar.

Claudia was my first Airbnb experience and she definitely left a good impression. Timely responses, even with my very last minute request, top level hospitality and incredibly sweet and kind(URL HIDDEN) A very nice private downstairs lodging, big screen tv with comfortable chairs ( and a cute Harry Potter cushion on the couch for HP fans haha). She also supplied me with beverages like coffee and bottled water,if I wanted as well as shampoo conditioner, all those sorts of things ( as well as a delightful message written on a chalkboard for when I entered my room, very cute). I didn't even take advantage of half the available amenities; barbecue, hot tub, pamphlets of local tourist attraction and information on all the restaurants + more(URL HIDDEN) Needless to say I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely feel while visiting or staying in beautiful Port Dover.

Claudia and Neil welcomed us into their beautiful home with an offer to use their hot tub and BBQ grill which was so sweet! Although we never used either, we did use their directions to the walking trail into Port Dover where we had dinner and a lovely time on the waterfront. Their downstairs suite is simply lush and lovely. Comfortable and clean in every way, we were sad we could not stay longer! Such a nice place to stay and would recommend this to anyone visiting Port Dover.

Recently, my mum and I made last minute plans to get away for the August long weekend. Neither of us wanted to travel too far, so we decided on Port Dover as our destination. When I found Blueline Farms on Airbnb, the photos sold me immediately. From start to finish, our stay was awesome. Not only were our hosts, Stuart and Lily, warm and friendly, but so too were their chickens! We were given all sorts of helpful hints about places to go, and highlights of the neighbouring area. If you are planning a trip to Port Dover, be sure to check this lovely location to stay while you tour the area. 5+ stars!

Ankie's place was a perfect little oasis to relax and recharge my batteries cycling across the country. Ankie was very communicative and helpful when I arrived. The room was as advertised and very comfortable. Willow the dog was a lovely highlight

This place is conveniently nestled between Delhi + Simcoe & Turkey Point. Ankie and her husband are really friendly. Their backyard is the perfect place to read a novel or have a picnic with your favorite bottle of wine. Good value.

Ankie and her husband made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their home. We had plenty of private space and a beautiful yard to share and relax in after a day of exploring. We wanted a place where we would be able to stay and explore around the area and it was perfectly situated for that.

Ankie' place is great. Location is near the beach (Turkey Point) and convenient for exploring Normandale. The room is big with its own fridge, coffee maker and kettle. There's also a very friendly dog to greet you when you're back.

We loved our stay here. Everything you could need and more. Short walk to the supermarket and I took the bike from the shed down to the town on a morning. Very comfortable beds, great aircon and wifi.

Lynneee was charming and made us instantly feel comfortable for our stay. The interior of the castle had great character. We look forward to returning to explore more of it, and to learn more about its history from our host. This is a wonderful estate home with lots of character and history. Jesse was extremely quick to respond and very helpful with some tips about where to go cycling. The place was immaculate and cared for and a nice little touch was a Brita Pitcher of filtered water waiting in the fridge. The location is quiet and close to the beach. There is a great Farmer's market nearby on Saturdays. We had a wonderful time and recommend this Jesse!

This place is great! Great location, easy access to everything around Port Dover. This place is in a quiet neighbourhood. It has everything you need and more! Our host was very welcoming and accommodating. She was very easy to communicate with. She was flexible in terms of check in times and the checking in and out was easy.

Quin and I had a great few days in Port Dover staying at Shannon's! Downtown was a 15 minute walk away through nice neighborhoods and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay:) Enjoyed the fire pit in the backyard! Shannon was very helpful with offering info on the town/ with all the arrangements.

Shannon's place was great. Really well kept and great beach like home decor. Very comfortable and we felt so at home. Shannon is very accommodating and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Shannon's place. Her place was clean, comfortable, and the neighborhood was peaceful. I LOVED THE DECOR! She even left little toiletries for us to use. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. There was one night where we lounged in the backyard and enjoyed fire pit. Check-in and out was easy and Shannon was always 100% available if we had any concerns. The downtown area and the beach were just a couple of minutes away. We stayed at Sarah's place for two nights over Canada Day long weekend. Sarah's place has a good layout and is in a great location. It is within a 5-10 minute walk from the main strip and beach but on a quiet street. We did not hear a peep at night which was great. It comfortably sleeps 4-5 people although the double bed sinks down in the middle. The biggest issue we had was that the place smelled badly of smoke and grease which she attempted to mask with many strong air fresheners. It was newly 'renovated' but did not feel fresh because the ceilings were stained yellow, there were no covers on the light switches, and there wasn't even a pot or a kettle to make a cup of tea. The place didn't feel 'homey' at all. Note that there is no wifi or TV. We did not feel that we got good value for our money as we are long-time Airbnb hosts and guests. Sarah's response time was slower than most. She is a brand new host so I'm sure that most of these things will be improved for the next guest.

The area was decent and the place itself was cute. A lot smaller than it looks in the pictures but still enough for 4 or 5 people. It was close to the beach which was really nice. Thanks for letting us stay in your home!

We enjoyed Gloria's home. Our bedroom and bathroom felt private, was clean and cosy and comfortable. The street was very quiet and parking plentiful. We would have preferred some access to the kitchen, but her add was clear about not providing. We'd stay again, yes.

Everything was great

Linda and I really enjoyed staying at Gloria's home in Port Dover. It was exactly what we wanted for the night. Gloria's room was quiet, extremely clean and tidy. The mattress was very comfortable and the bathroom very close to the room and well laid out. The room was right inside the door which made coming and going quiet and easy for us. Gloria meet us at the door right on time and showed us the bedroom and bathroom as well as provided back ground on some of the pictures of Port Dover in her beautiful house. Gloria's bedroom was a perfect place to stay that we can highly recommend for anyone needing a room in Port Dover. Actually we can also add that we really enjoyed the weekend seeing everything in Port Dover, the live music, wineries and hospitality makes this town a place for a great weekend get away. Gloria met me at the time specified. She showed me to my room which was right off the front door with a private bathroom right beside it, which was very convenient. Her home is a little outside of Port Dover proper, and is not close to any amenities. You will have to drive to downtown, and the beach, etc. All in all, her home is clean and set up well for an Airbnb room. The only drawbacks for me were; the bed which was very soft & the smoking. Gloria did not smoke in the home but did on the back patio with the screen open. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke. For the money it was a good stay.

This cottage is in an absolutely fabulous location. We were able to walk to the liquor&beer store and we went out for dinner one night. Lots to choose from, all a walk away. We used the BBQ another night while we took in the lake view. We really enjoyed both upper and lower decks with the fantastic views of the lake. The cottage on the inside does need some TLC, but we didn't care. We are definitely coming back here again. I would highly recommend this cottage to anybody who loves a REAL COTTAGE feel.

Cassandra was a wonderful host! She was quick to answer all our questions and check in couldn't have been easier! The cottage was just as shown in pictures, clean and spacious! There was a great private beach area right in front of the cottage and just a very short walk away from the main beach area. Great location, we will definitely be interested in revisiting next summer.

I recently went to port Dover for the weekend of August 18 - 20 to have a nice relaxing weekend away. I had never used Airbnb befor so I thought I would give it a shot and I stumbled upon Jenny's home she had posted for rent, my first impressions of her home were these photos must be professionally done but come to find out when I actually got there, it was exactly like the photos! Her home was beautifully decorated with large windows everywhere so you have lake views from pretty much everywhere in the home! It was very warm and welcoming, I had use of pretty much everything you need to get through a weekend cooking wise, and she even put lovely soaps, toothpaste, and mini shampoos in our bathrooms as if we were at a hotel, I thought that was a very nice gesture! Another word that comes to mind when I first arrived was how CLEAN the house was, not one thing out of place and this was reassuring as when renting someone else's home you never know what your going to get. There was a very nice patio off of the back that had plenty of seating and a beautiful propane gas fire pit that was just perfect in the evenings and at night! The view I was actually taken back by how far I could see, it was very pretty through out the day and added to that cottage feel, location wise Jenny's home is perfect! I really enjoyed going for daily walks through the neighbourhood admiring all of the old homes and walking into town was a breeze because you don't have to find parking because you are so close! All in all I had a very nice and relaxing vacation at Jenny's cottage, she was a great host, always answering my questions if I needed help and very easy going. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! I hope to return again in the future!

This house is possibly the best location in Port Dover. The lake is a few houses down and the view from the front is gorgeous. Quiet street in the old part of town, a few minutes walk to the main drag. The house itself was great and Diane was excellent about communicating, although unfortunately we did not get to meet as we were mostly out. Would highly recommend.

Diane's Port Dover summer house was the perfect place to stay for our Summer vacation. The location was perfect for a morning dip in the lake and evening stroll to the great restaurants and pubs nearby. The house was exactly as described and its quaint decor gave it a wonderful cottage feel. Diane was a fabulous host and ensured we had everything we needed for a great vacation. We would not hesitate to book Diane's cottage when next in the area and highly recommend it to others.

Fabulously charming home in a perfect location. Quiet yet steps to all of the action. It was a great stay and exceeded our expectations. Diane thought of every amenity possible! It was SUPER clean, had comfy beds, a great deep soaker tub, central a/c, there was a main floor ensuite bedroom that walked out to the back terrace which was a total bonus (esp for senior guests or parents who want separation from the kids). There were games, videos, piano...the list goes on and on. Whoops, I think I should be keeping the best secret in town to myself!
