Fully renovated cottage located right on Lake Huron. Open floor plan with lake views from many rooms of the house. Great for a relaxing getaway or an outdoor adventure with family/friends. Short drive to Downtown Port Austin. Walk-able to Pointe aux Barques lighthouse. Swim, kayak, play in the huge yard, nap in the hammock, watch the freighters pass from the patio, or curl up with a book in the shaded outdoor sitting area. There is a lakeside bonfire pit for incredible star gazing & s'mores.

Garden Cottage on the Lake

Lake in the front (right across the road)and woods in the back of the house, quiet neighborhood. Close to 2 state parks and Nature Arboretum. We provide you with 2 bikes and helmets, 2 kayaks, drinking water filtered by reverse osmosis system. You will have your private beach with chairs and beach towels. You can enjoy time on the porch in the back of the cottage. There is an herb garden for you to use for cooking and tea making. We have a charcoal grill but no charcoal (please bring your own)

Located right at the tip of the thumb is Port Austin which is a perfect location for watching both the sunrise and the sunset over Lake Huron. Port Austin has many hiking trails including the distinct Turnip Rock. Peaceful and centrally-located cottage on the south side of M25. Just minutes from downtown Port Austin and Caseville. Rental available in all seasons. Summer is the favorite, come up during the fall to see the color change, the snow is beautiful in the winter and it’s VERY quiet.
