  • We enjoyed our stay here. It’s small and quaint. The only negative was the slow wifi, but we didn’t stay there so we could stream. Lol. Insert a board game night! It was quiet and no frills. We enjoyed our stay!

  • This cabin is so sweet. Theres a small fireplace and wood. The place is very cute and cozy. The property is gorgeous and you're surrounded by trees. You're out in the woods and I did not get very much signal, but Lorraine has provided a telephone in case you need to make phone calls. You're in the beautiful countryside and it's a great little getaway. Bring some books or games or download a movie for the evenings and go for a nice drive in nature during the daytime. Would definitely come back!

  • This is a beautiful spot in a lovely wooded area. There is no TV and the wifi is too slow for use. However, you should be there to enjoy the quiet and the surrounding nature. I woke up to see a deer tasting lilies right next to the porch. If that is what you want, you'll find it here.

  • We had an amazing stay at this little nestled hideaway! It’s a beautiful cozy space. & surprisingly was pretty baby friendly, which is usually hard to find. The surrounding landscaping and natural landscaping is breathtaking. All in all I would definitely recommend this place for a unplugged reconnection with your loved ones!

  • Adorable and charming cottage on gorgeous property!

  • This was a great place to stay! We loved how small and cute it was.

  • After a rough several days on the road, we needed a stop that offered easy comfort, peace, and quiet. Lorraine’s cottage did just that. The bucolic location offers excellent indoor and outdoor space. The cottage is small, but well laid out for the guest. We had no issues, but the advice about the stairs is accurate. Outside, the gardens and trees make this place even more peaceful and relaxing. We would come back.

    R.2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lorraine’s place is as described. She provided quick responses. I was concerned about finding the place in the dark, but did not have any problem!

  • Great cottage, great hosts. Really does have everything a traveler would need. I will stay here again whenever I’m in the area.

    Ethan2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing little place to stay at! There were so many special little touches in this little home! The weather was not cooperating for our planned hike on Rainier so we opted to stay in and relax! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to just kick up our feet and enjoy the sound of the wind and rain! We will surely be back!

  • Lovely setting. Out of the way. Cottage is cozy with sizable bedroom. Totally relaxing.

  • Vivian's cottage is a cozy quiet space, with a well stock snack cupboard, bathroom necessities, and a cozy bed, and a whole lot of nice-ities!

    Melody2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Vivian's place is well maintained, nicely furnished and well equipped with many thoughtful extras provided. The location is rural and would make a good base camp for Mount Rainier National Park, a stop over between Seattle and Portland or (as in my case) a quiet place for some down time, writing, etc. Check-in/check-out and communication was easy. I highly recommend Vivian's place.

    Mark2019-12-22T00:00:00Z

Looking for a personal retreat site, a central location for adventure, or just a place to spend a night or weekend? This quiet hillside home with amazing views is ten minutes from I-5 and just outside of town. The spacious living room with writing desk, bedroom, bath, mini-kitchen (no stove), grill, patio, outdoor fire pit, and private coded entrance are on the lower floor of this rural mid-century modern house—our family home since 1960. (P.S. There is no cleaning fee.)
Watch the sunrise over Mt. St. Helens, meditate from the barn door in the misty morning meadow with the deer, read a book in the garden, enjoy your complimentary coffee and continental breakfast on the patio, and hike into the Seminary Hill Natural Area directly adjacent to the property. At night, watch the moon slip down the valley from your bed as the coyotes howl. Ideal for one or two people.
Three of Earth Farm is located in the "country" just a mile up the hill from town.
  • I would highly recommended Gretchen's place. It's very relaxing with patio chairs to sit and enjoy the view of the valley below.

    Ruth2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Gretchen's space was located perfectly adjacent to a large forested park. It had all the right amenities and I loved the colorful creativity throughout the huge apartment. It felt like home, but with a beautiful view, and definitely a great deal.

    Mary2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • A sweet, cozy place with lots of character, in a beautiful country setting.

    Kathy2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable, clean and private. Beautiful view of the Chehalis Valley from the hilltop. Coffee and breakfast in the morning!

    James2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved my stay at Gretchen’s beautiful place. The apt is just adorable; sparkling clean, has great water pressure and excellent WiFi. The bed is so comfy and I slept great during my week stay. As an added bonus Gretchen stocks the kitchenette with amazing homemade breakfast items and delicious coffee. What more could you ask for?!? I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Centralia :)

    Mary2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Gretchen's place was great! All the pictures and descriptions are spot on. If you can book some time here, I give it my highest recommendation!

    Kevin2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • If you are in the area, definitely plan a stay at Gretchen's beautiful farm! Upon arriving, you immediately feel peace and joy. Take time to look through her books in the space, the photos on the walls and the cute and whimsical decorations. Next time I'm passing through, I'm hoping to stay for more than just one night!

    Leslie2020-01-27T00:00:00Z

I have some wonderful rooms available in our historic hotel. These rooms have a vintage look and feel to them. They are nice and clean with premium features. The rooms include a sink but share nice common bathrooms and a lockable shower. 208 has a full size bed. Enjoy our outside terrace overlooking one of the nicest parks in Lewis county. Sorry no TV's or swimming pool. But we do have wifi. Enjoy the hotel’s excellent restaurants and walk downtown Centralia.
  • Such a cute 1920s boutique hotel. Definitely wil come back. They were so accommodating.

    Rei Rei2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • I have stayed at the Centralia hotel a few times and always appreciate their hospitality, character of the old hotel, and good value. The beds are comfortable and the rooms, Euro-style baths and showers are always nice and clean. I was pleased to see that they've also installed an elevator recently, which will make the old hotel much more accessible to guests with mobility issues. Be sure to learn about the mural on the second floor, in the front (a fascinating and sad chapter in local history). Berry Fields restaurant has tasty breakfasts and really good pie.

    Joyce2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot, cool historic building!

  • This is the best place to stay when visiting family and a great hidden gem for exploring the area. We’ve stayed twice and will stay again. Love that the downtown is becoming a great place for food, drinks, and wellness. It’s quaint and charming.

    Shannon2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed in the smaller room with the shared shower/bathroom. Bigger than I expected! Shower was a single stall so that was a nice surprise.

    Amber2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay at a place all must see, old town charm and a fantastically kept 100 year old Hotel. Loved it and will return.

  • Great historical hotel and ballroom. The hosts were great to work with in our last minute evening reservation. We just needed a place to get some sleep while in the road. Slept great. The place has great energy.

BETWEEN SEATTLE AND PORTLAND THERE'S LOG HOLLOW... UPDATE: see below for info regarding covid-19 …an off-grid permaculture farm invites you to take a break from your busy life and retreat to a cozy cabin settled in the woods along the Chehalis river. You will stay in a private cabin with it’s own bathroom and kitchenette, powered by solar energy. The main room has a queen-sized bed while the sleeping loft also has a double-sized bed as well. We welcome all families with children of all ages.
The farm remains open to Airbnb guests during the pandemic because we can provide an isolated experience for guests that match social distancing guidelines. For example guest can request self check-in and communicate via phone. This allows guest to have NO in-person contact during their stay while still being able to enjoy the property. We have taken additional precautions include lengthening the time between guests, disinfecting all surfaces prior to new guests. And as usually fresh, clean linens are set out for new guests. If you are getting cabin fever at home, get away by coming to our cabin and farm while still doing your part to "flatten the curve." Please reach out with any questions. If you’re not sure if your whole family will fit in the cabin contact us and let us know about your situation. We strive to accommodate all those that wish to visit. There is lots to do while you are here- meeting the animals, relaxing on one of the river desks while watching the seasonal birds fly by, tubing on the river and taking in walks through the forest. Are you looking for a vacation location with a small carbon footprint? Log Hollow is that place where you can take in all that nature has to offer just 15 minutes from Highway 5. We look forward to your visit…..
Log Hollow is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Chehalis/Centralia.
  • The warmth and hospitality of Log Hollow Farm is beyond expectation. The cabin is full of extra touches and thoughtfulness. The moss covered trees and the river are completely breathtaking. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning.

  • Highly recommend this cozy and wonderful space! Amy was an excellent host, helped us get in safely, allowed us to explore her property and helped us with anything we needed

    Anna2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great weekend in this small rustic, off-grid cabin. The hosts are very friendly and will tell you whatever you want to know about their working farm. There are four cats, lots of goats, chickens, cows, horses, and a duck. It was cold enough that there was ice on the porch in the morning, but we slept very well even without leaving the heater on at night. But if you are not as cold-blooded as we are, there are two good heaters you can turn on. I found the bed very comfortable (slept in the one on the ground floor, not the loft). For cooking, the kitchen area was well stocked with utensils and misc. cooking items. Again, the hosts are super friendly, and all you have to do is ask for anything you need.

    Casey2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great cabin in the woods. The cabin is spacious and cozy all at the same time. And you can feed some goats!! Highly recommend for a little getaway.

    Lachlan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great, unique place! Especially if you are interested in off-grid living/agrotourism.

    Ryan2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • The beds were comfortable, the cabin clean and cozy, and Amy and Rohn were very quick to respond to our needs. It was very easy for us to cook our meals and move around the space. It's important to keep in mind that this cabin is truly off-the-grid. So you do have to be thoughtful about water and power usage. As such, staying in the cabin in more interactive than if you are staying in a house attached to your normal municipalities. The toilet bowl fills with a valve you toggle on and off. Similarly, the water pump has to be turned on and off as you use it. As someone who would one day like to build his own cabin off-the-grid, I learned a lot from how this cabin was constructed. You're close enough to Chehalis to go into town and grab provisions or a meal, but far enough out to cut out most road noise and all the noises associated with civilization.

    Travis2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Amy's place was a lovely place for our family of 3 to have a little 'off-grid' experience while in town for a family event. We enjoyed taking a little hike on the property and visiting with the goats. My 4-year old is still talking about the goats :-) Amy was very responsive to a minor issue we had.

    Pamela2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • I couldn’t have loved this cabin any more than I did. The cabin was perfect (or should I say purrfect) for me. It’s small, but with the loft, plenty of room for a small family, kids will definitely dig the loft sleeping. PLENTY of extra spices/staples and cookware. I arrived on a cold and foggy afternoon. Amy had the heat going and it was nice and warm inside. I am a lover of cool weather so it was perfect for me to set up on the deck and chill out and cook some meals. The farm kitties were absolutely my favorite part.....they are all so sweet and lovey dovey. There were a couple of times I needed a question answered and Amy was right there. I’ll definitely be back!!

We are on 65 acres of woodlands, orchards, trails and gardens in the rolling foothills of Mt. St. Helen's and Mt. Rainier in the Cascades of SW Washington. The property feels very secluded and private at the end of a half of a mile gravel driveway. This is a great location for visiting the mountains in the region or for “getting away from it all!” There is a $30 fee for each additional person in your group.
The Corner Guest Room is small and quiet with a queen bed. TheTreehouse Room has a queen bed, and a private balcony on the 2nd floor. The Loft is semi private with 2 twin beds and a trundle. The Garden bedroom is nestled in the flowers in the greenhouse. There is a large bathroom with a claw foot tub, kitchen, living room, dining room, deck, solarium, far infrared sauna and patio. The house has several sky lights and an open floor plan. In the summer we open the windows and in the winter we light a fire in the wood stove. House plants thrive and so people say they feel like they are in the forest inside the house. You will be sharing the laundry and the sauna with us (both are in the solarium), otherwise your space is private for you and your group. We provide you with fresh eggs from our hens and garden produce when available.
We are equidistant from Seattle and Portland and from the mountains and the ocean. Lots of recreational opportunities in the surrounding area. A great website is www.DiscoverLewisCounty.com The closest decent restaurants are about a half hour drive.
  • I would definitely return! Things I enjoyed the most: - farm fresh eggs - the amazing space between the lights and the natural light - walking the property - easiest check in

  • We loved the tranquil setting, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful place!

    Caity2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place! Great hospitality. One of the best AirBnBs I have stayed at.

    Dan2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy home away from home. Annie and Harry are great hosts and definitely put in the effort to make sure you’re comfortable. Take some grubby shoes/boots if it’s raining as the walkway from car to front door is very soggy.

    Jill2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • A very relaxing time! We just kept the wood stove going and did some reading. Kitchen has everything you need.

    Ryan2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Annie was so relaxing and too brief! The house itself is both stunning and super comfortable. The wood-stove, sauna, plants, all of it make for a comfortable stay. We loved the opportunity to cook in the well-stocked kitchen and we felt like we maintained both privacy and security with Annie and her partner staying in a building nearby.

    Connor2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • A place of beauty, peace, and restoration. The trees are spectacular. We were amazed at how clean it was. Hosts are extremely kind. They openly hand over all the comforts of home to their guests; it felt like we were staying at a family member's house. We plan to return here as soon as we can.

    Stacey2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible hosts with beautiful land. When you need a moment away to remind you what life is about, this is the kind of place you go. Quite, scerene, peaceful, nice and cozy and beautiful. Very rejuvinating. Thank you guys again! 10 out of 10.... Would recommend!!!!

Rustic log cabin built by homesteaders in 1901. Lovingly restored w/ modern conveniences & comfort. ENTIRE 750 SQUARE FOOT CABIN is yours to enjoy. Snuggle by the fire, read a book or visit area attractions. Resident wildlife (deer, rabbits, hawks, eagles, blue heron, owls, coyotes & occasional elk) share the wooded 52 acre property. Cabin is nestled next to a seasonal pond w/ private yard & outdoor BBQ area to relax & enjoy nature. 10 min. to Yelm, w/in 60 min. to Mt. Rainier, Olympia & Tacoma
Admire the hand-hewn Douglas Fir logs made from this original homestead property in 1901. Snuggle up to the gas fireplace or relax in the cozy living area. Listen to the peaceful hooting sounds of owls who reside in the surrounding old growth trees. Watch deer graze outside your window. A seasonal pond is just steps away from the back door where ducks and blue heron thrive. A great place to unwind, unplug and get back to nature. (Intentionally no TV provided to help you unplug!) Well appointed with your comfort in mind. There are some cosmetic items (trim, landscaping, loft area, etc.) that are still a part of our ongoing renovation and restoration of the property, but all the important things are fully functioning and completed (kitchen, bath, heating). Please be patient as we lovingly restore this amazing piece of history. Your experience is most important to us and we will continuely be improving and restoring our cabin in the woods.
PLEASE realize this is a rural setting but Yelm is ONLY 10-12 minutes away (5.8 miles). Yes, I've had reviews that commented we were "away from town" (as a bad thing) and rated accordingly!! The good news is, our area is quiet, tranquil and secluded on a 52 acre property with few neighbors. Owner's main house is located on property. Yelm is a town with about 6,000 population with grocery, cinemas, restaurants, golf course, parks and a community theatre. Less than 90 minutes to Seattle and Mt. St. Helen's and 60 minutes to Mt. Rainier National Park. Only 45-50 minutes to Tacoma, museums, Olympia (capitol of Washington), Puget Sound water activities, Wolf Haven and Northwest Trek. 15 minutes to Deschutes Falls hiking, Lawrence Lake and the Chehalis Trail for hiking and biking. There are Antique Malls in Tenino (20 min) and Centralia (40 min), RedWind Casino (20 min) and much more, just ask and I can give recommendations for whatever your interests are.
  • I hope to return to Yelm for work and staying at the Owl's Nest will be a must!

    Trista2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Comfy, cozy & clean! The Owl's Nest is so peaceful & offers everything you need to feel at home. Terese & Leo are friendly, laid back and very accommodating. I would book again!

    Trista2020-01-17T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was a magical little oasis in Washington. It was even more than we expected. Every need was met and we were as comfortable as can be for our stay. Therese was a great host who was available anytime we needed. They left us with a warm welcome, information on the area and even a stocked kitchen. What a great quiet space to make memories with a loved one.

    Dani2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cozy little place tucked away in the woods. A great place to center oneself and reconnect with loved ones.

    Calvin2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful, magically renovated log cabin. Very well appointed and decorated. I really enjoyed my stay, especially will all the hosts’ little extra touches (coffee, snacks, great bath towels). Very peaceful retreat for a solo traveller, couple, or small family.

    Gary2019-12-22T00:00:00Z

This little cabin was built for my daughter Who is now 27 And being busy busy busy, so we have staged it for guest because when she comes home she sleeps on the couch lol My property is 5 1/2 of Pristine Northwest forest. My property is basically one big hill with my house sit at the top, the small cabin you will stay at is on the lower landing next to an amazing tiny house, the goats sleep half up the hill in the Goat castle, currently under a major remodel. please walk up the hill and see
I am working on the city slicker dream of home steading and growing mine own food, this has been a work in progress for the last 12 years, with some bumps in the road I continue to work on my project keeping my dream intact. Although it is close to Highway 99, I hope you enjoy my little slice of the forest. I live on a hill, so it is is very diverse property, The cabin is on the lower lot next to another tiny house, it is very private because the tiny house people keep to them selves, unless you knock on there door for tour, yes it is that cool you will want to see inside! There is a fire pit by the cabin, and sometimes you will find a nice stack of wood to enjoy a fire,if not feel free to gather some.
I know the owners of two great restaurant 2 min from my place , one is Don Jaun’s Mexican kitchen and the other is T90 pizza $$ If you are into beer I recommend Matchless brewery about 11 minutes from my place. Also close by is the Cidermill, about five minutes away. Wolf Haven is also close.
  • We loved staying here. It was super cozy and the goats on the farm were super cute. The place had great amenities like snacks in case you forget and firewood to make smores

  • Tom was very friendly, came by to say hi shortly after I arrived. While small (as expected) I found the space very comfortable and well appointed. Tom even generously left some food and drink for guests to enjoy. The bathroom is separate, but warm, clean and with plenty of hot water. Great spot.

    Greg2019-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Tom’s place is incredible! I stayed there for two nights and wish I could have stayed longer. Tom is such a great host. He really goes above and beyond for his guests. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking to go to get out of the city for a little!

Welcome to Otter Pond! Replace the sights and sounds of traffic and the suburban shuffle on the Toutle River! In light of the current Corona issues, we are disinfecting all door handles and horizontal surfaces, plus running an ozone generator disinfector between all guests. You have acres to explore, a pond, a river, a horse shoe pit, a grill, and two firepits! Relax with the songs of frogs, birds, crickets, and enjoy the deer, eagles, ducks, geese, rabbits, beavers and otters that pass through!
Tiny Home ( built by us ) has 320 square feet plus a loft. Loads of windows! Nice size kitchen with gas oven/stove, and everything needed for cooking. A full size refrigerator, coffee, tea, creamer and sugar is provided. The Loft upstairs has a memory foam king bed and the downstairs bedroom has a futon that makes into a full bed with a memory foam topper. We also provide shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash. A deck off the back to enjoy your morning coffee. Propane fireplace for heating in the winter and AC in the summer to keep you cool. WiFi, SmartTV, DVD player and movies. Future plans include a shootin' shack/range, and a campsite at the river’s edge. Please forgive the building materials (mostly reclaimed) at the periphery of the lot as we continue to improve. Its also time for clean up from our resident beaver and planting of approximately 2,000 trees in the next few months, so excuse the yard mess! We can add a twin foam mattress upstairs for a extra guest if needed. The property can also accommodate a guest bringing their own RV/trailer ( with hook-ups ) or tent camping in the summer to add more guests to your group! Ask us for more info.
We live in the country/forest. Your drive here will take you by both ranches, houses and cabins. You will see cows, deer, and sometimes a herd of elk. We feel very fortunate to live on a quiet dead end road ( one neighbor after the tiny home ) and look forward to sharing the beautiful PNW with you!
  • Great place to get away and be in nature.

  • Cute, clean, and cozy, this tiny house is very well done!

  • This is an unbelievable place! The setting is so beautiful and peaceful, and it is SO close to Mt St Helens for hiking/exploring and so many other activities. The home is VERY clean and the touches are just delightful. You will be so glad you stayed here, highly recommended!!!

  • We had such a wonderful time and the house was absolutely perfect! Very clean and organized. I felt like I was at home in every way. It was incredibly relaxing and also a little tiny house dream come true. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you!!

  • Trish and Kary continue to be wonderful hosts with a spectacular space. Can't wait to come back!

    Kelso2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great tiny home off the beaten path. The perfect "camping" alternative when the weather is too cold as you can bundle up in the warmth, but still have plenty of reasons to go outside. The bed in the loft is comfy and warm and the loft itself has plenty of space. The kitchen is small (it is a tiny home) but good for a homemade meal. The entire place is clean and well taken care of. Beautiful views from every point in the house, lots of options for heaters and cross breezes, and easy access to a wide variety of outdoor activities. Definitely worth a stay!

  • The wildlife was the best part. Such a peaceful and beautiful property.

This is a small older house 1.5 stories has small rooms but nice. There is a large rock front that keeps the water from coming in. but the house set right behind that rock wall and looks out to the water. This is Willapa Bay . What you need to cook with stove microwave frig (no dishwasher) lots of dish soap. 2 small bedrooms with double bed in each plus a hid-a-bed in the living room with double bed. Deck is large & has gas BBQ for the using. Small 1/2 bath on main & full bath upstairs.
We are right on the bay maybe 20 steps to the beach, the sunsets are awesome and the changing tides make the water so interesting. We enjoy the winter storms as well as the spring and summer clamming and sunbathing.
We have a little place across the way and the closest neighbor next door is not real close but do respect their privacy. No fences so if you bring pets again consider the neighbors.
  • Great place, amazing views and easy to relax

    Spencer2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Cute vintage cabin with amazing views! Simple amenities but everything you need.

    Amy2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • I loved Loretta's place on the bay, and her communication was excellent with an easy self check-in. There is beach/bay access only a few steps away, the sunsets and sunrises really are glorious, and at night it is dark as pitch for stargazing. Having said that, try to arrive during the day, or bring a flashlight! This is an ideal place for those who want to stay in a real home, it's retro, cozy, and has a well equipped kitchen. When you come in the front door, you may be surprised to find yourself in the storage area, but don't fret, the house is warm and comfortable! There is a 1/2 bath on the main floor, as well as one bedroom, and a very spacious living room and deck. The full bath is on the second floor, with an additional bedroom. The pictures do not do this cute little house justice! I would certainly recommend this place for those who don't mind rustic touches and appreciate the feeling of a home over a hotel. Thanks for a great stay Loretta, I hope to return soon!

    Nina2019-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very quiet location with a fantastic view and dark enough at night to see the Milky Way.

    Alex2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place for water, sky, and wildlife watching. Fantastic sunrise and sunset with the Milky Way in splendid display. Cozy place to relax away from it all.

    Nadine2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet cabin next to the ocean. Very comfortable and family friendly.

    Shanowa2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had the most lovely time at Loretta’s place! The house is right on the bay and about 15 steps away from the beach. We literally had the whole beach to ourselves - I think we saw one person much farther away the whole time. The deck was wonderful to eat and read on. We couldnt have asked for a better weekend

    Jamie2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • The decor and the amenities are classically aesthetically pleasing. The views are amazing, and the house itself is in a prime location; it's very quiet and calming. I live in Beaverton - nearly 3 hours away - and this place was worth the drive.

  • This is a perfect spot to soak in a Pacific Northwest experience! I will come back and stay longer next time! Cheryl is a wonderful host!

  • As vacation rental owners ourselves we can tend to be a little critical when we stay as a guest. This charming beach house leaves us nothing to be critical about. This place was well described, an amazing waterfront location, very thoughtful touches, and a very comfortable bed. Enjoy a beautiful drive to this gem on the Columbia River and put away the cell phones and relax amidst the wildlife and amazing views.

  • Great place! Great host! Great views! What more could you ask for. Cheryl was a very gracious and kind host. I was visiting on my birthday weekend and she brought me a cupcake! What a thoughtful touch. I felt very at home and was able to enjoy the beauty of the land. Thanks Cheryl! Hope to visit again.

    Brandon2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing. The view is so stunning and soothing. Cheryl is very responsive and considerate. We asked for privacy and she gave us just that. We liked to read out on the deck and take walks on the beach and on the roads. This place had everything you can want/need. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. I usually get back pain from soft beds, but this one supported my chronic pain. Thank you so much Cheryl.

The home is in a quiet neighborhood. With access over the jetty , there is a small beach area to enjoy. Close to the Shoalwater casino, famous Tokeland Hotel and Westport for fishing or surfing.
The home is situated in a peaceful , quiet neighborhood. Away from the busy rush.
  • The photos don’t do this place justice! It’s very spacious and open in the living area with modern updates. There are welcoming touches everywhere and nice amenities. The beds are cozy and comfortable. The ocean view is a little blocked by the rock wall across the street, but necessary and how many places have you stayed in where the ocean was maybe 30 yards from your deck? There are so many nice touches, comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and classic beach decor to suit anyone’s taste. The Tokeland Hotel is the best place for breakfast and a little history of the area. The hosts helped me out very quickly with a scheduling glitch I caused and straightened it out for me perfectly. What a gem this place is and a great value for the money!

  • This is our 2nd stay. December and January.. House is comfy, well stocked. Though we had no luck on clamming due to the weather (we kinda knew it was going to rain though..) but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did manage to catch some crab from the pier just down the road. Love the unobstructed view of the bay from the living room. Enjoyed watch raining very much. Thanks so much again for another nice stay.

  • A great space! Plenty of room to cook, lounge, and take in a lovely view of the water. Multiple points of beach access within a 15 minute drive.

  • We had a great time at Jen’s house. Very cute, cozy, clean place to stay. Size of the house was just perfect for two of us. Jen was very thoughtful and provided all that you need and more including wine and snacks! Living room with expansion of windows looking out to ocean and also enjoyed watching the rain.. We also did some crabbing at the pier very close to Jen’s. Taking so much good memory with us.

    Jumie2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place , great location, much more than expected, pictures dont do this place justice, sparkling clean, everything you need for a trip to the coast.

    Mike2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We spent Thanksgiving at Jen’s place, and it was absolutely AMAZING! The kitchen was spacious and had everything I needed to prepare our meal. The house is a lot bigger then I expected, and beautifully remodeled. The beds were super comfy, and the linens and blankets were soft and plush. We will definitely be back!

    Sara2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jen’s beach house is a total gem. We went for a girls weekend and Jen’s was perfect for just that! Loved the private parking and don’t have to worry about anyone parking next to you unless you have multiple cars in your party. We popped open a bottle of wine and found the kitchen fully stocked with glasses and cookware. House was not only beautifully remodeled but impeccably clean, with a cozy feel. Entertainment was easy, we were both able to enjoy plugging in our own devices via HDMI to watch movies and there were lots of channels to take advantage of. We went out to the Shoalwater Bay Casino in the evening which hosts class 2 slots only, and is small enough that were didn’t lose each other. In the morning we ate a crazy delicious breakfast at the Tokeland Hotel, a must try! Walk to the pier for some crabbing or if you want to skip the work, just enjoy the fresh crab, oysters and coffee at Nelson’s. The house is directly across from the beach and features an idyllic sunset every evening. I can’t wait to bring my family back to this house, and our next girls weekend!

    Monica2019-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • A nice quiet get away for either a girls weekend or spend it with a spouse or partner. Nice view of the beach. Walking distance beach access. A cozy comfortable place. The main bedroom, the bed...I slept like a baby. The 2nd bedroom has a very comfortable futon. Very clean...white glove, checked. Nice entertainment system, remotes easily usable. The lay out of the place, you know someone took time and love putting it all together. I will definitely be back.

Our 2 bedroom cottage has one bathroom, a living room and kitchen. We offer a queen bed, double bed and two single beds. It features a fireplace, a full kitchen, wifi and is completely separate residence so you may come and go as you please
Whether you're coming for an evening or a week, find yourself at home in this newly renovated 1940's home. Put your feet up in front of our fireplace, drink a cup of coffee, and relax. Within walking distance of Centralia College, less than a mile from I5 and about 10 blocks to historic downtown Centralia. Although it's a busy street, road noise is minimal but does exist. The home does have newer windows and doors that help. We offer a Chromecast and WiFi, so you can stream from your own Netflix, Disney Plus or Amazon Prime or YouTube and countless other steaming services. We don't offer cable TV. Although we allow up to 6 guests, this home is smaller. The additional single beds are for use by guests who pay for additional guests. These single beds are cots.
  • This little house was a great space for 4 adults and 2 kids to spend time together. The chromecast was easy to use and the fireplace kept us nice and cozy all weekend! We hiked a few trails at Seminary Hill Natural Area and went to a couple different playgrounds nearby.

  • Nice little house, close to town, the creek was lovely. The beds were very comfy and the water was nice & hot! There was lotion next to the bed. You can hear the train but it isn’t that loud, it didn’t affect my sleep at all. Quiet town. Overall a great place to stay! Would love to come back again.

This freshly remodeled studio apartment is located right in the heart of downtown Centralia. Within walking distance to several shops, restaurants, and movie theater. In town for a wedding? Located one block from both the The Aerie Ballroom and Centralia Square. Yoga anyone? The room sits above Embody studio, offering a variety of different levels of Yoga classes each day! In addition to Yoga they offer Nia, Barre, Pilates, massage and more!
Updated from its 1907 construction with just a touch of old, this room has the original hardwood fir floors, brick accent wall, and a clawfoot tub. Three large windows let in lots of natural light and sunshine. The kitchen has been brought up to date with new cabinets topped with a fir slab countertop and gas stove. This room is perfect for one or two people looking for some space and comfort whether you are in town for business a wedding or just for fun.
Centralia has a unique downtown with many of its 1900-1940s buildings still intact. This once booming logging community is now known for its huge number of antique stores. Its location being exactly in between Seattle and Portland makes for a perfect stop for travel and business. The Amtrak station (one of a handful still in use along this route) is a short walk away.
  • Very cute loft in downtown Centralia. Great access to shops, coffee and restaurants and was a very quick drive to Chehalis where we attended a wedding. The loft was fully stocked and has a great little kitchen if you want to eat in. Bed was super comfortable and there was a little white noise machine which we enjoyed. The tavern across the street was a little noisy and it was just enough to cover the sound. Not something I would have previously thought about but the claw foot tub and shower were not ideal for my husband who had a stroke 18 months ago and is still a little wobbly sometimes. There are no hand rails in the shower (probably not possible this type of situation) and quite a step up and down for him with nothing to grab on to for stability. Tub aside, we enjoyed our stay very much!

  • We stayed at David’s home for one night and loved it. His beautiful space is located in the heart of downtown with cute little coffee shops and restaurants close by. He was super responsive, given our impromptu decision to spend a night out of Seattle. His place is super clean and cozy. The location was on point, as explained in his instructions. I definitely recommend this hidden gem!

    Marjan2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely loved this accommodation. The building is historic and charming. The apartment is lovely, very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for what I wanted to see and do. David's listing description is accurate and honest about the possibility of noise but I had no difficulty sleeping. I appreciate that David was quick to respond to my questions and was also proactive with a back-up plan in case I had any problems with check-in (which I did not). I certainly hope that I have the opportunity to stay here again in the future.

    Deborah2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Communication at first was a tad skeptical and came off rude, but other than the first initial interaction the stay was perfectly pleasant and welcoming. The stairs were so loud entering the apartment building it was funny because we were requested to be SUPER quiet, but it was impossible while entering 😅 so glad it worked out! I would stay here again for sure - especially knowing what I know now. The special touches like the mirrors and bedside stand was very nice.

Beautiful location, between the Pacific Ocean and Willapa Bay, both within walking distance. Peaceful, quiet location, where at times you can have the beach nearly to yourself, if that is too crowded then you can enjoy lovely soul soothing hiking trails on the bay that are never crowded . No WiFi or television, cell phone service spotty, Verizon works, rest 1/4 mi . Get away from the rat race and enjoy life. Large deep bath tub to melt the kinks Great Breakfasts served every day of your visit!
My home is located near the end of the peninsula, a very quiet area, yet close to every place you would like to visit. there are several wonderful areas you can visit and never have to start up your car, beginning with a lovely hiking trail that starts just north of the Oysterville Sea Farm that serves the most delicious clam chowder I have put a spoon to!. lived in Maine for twenty years and Maine is well known for their great clam chowder yet the Oysterville Sea Farm is right up there with the Maine chowder--0r C howda , as Maine Pronounce it. The trail follows the west shore shore ofillapa Bay north for quite a ways for a n enjoyable walk. Pop into the Oysterville See Farm for a yummy bowl of Clam Chowder! Next hop on your bicycle and follow Stackpole Road four level miles north to Ledbetter State Park where you will find several lovely hiking trails. Then take a walk through Old Oysterville, where you will Walk by some of the original homes from when Oysterville was first was first settled in the early eighteen hundreds. Plus a very well preserved beautiful old church, which is always open to visitors. Oysterville Beach is one of my favorite beaches on the the Pacific coast and I have traveled the Pacific Coast by car and bicycle several times and Oysterville stands up to the best of the other beaches.
  • Great quiet place to sleep. John makes a great Breakfast. This is the place to go for a nice restful stay.

    Holly2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We were on the west coast for a conference and decided to come out a few days early to explore the Pacific Northwest. We chose John's place because it was situated about halfway between our conference and Haystack Rock and was reasonably priced. We knew nothing else about the area. We were very pleasantly surprised with not only the accommodations but with the location as well. Situated near the end of Long Beach Peninsula, John's home was the epitome of serenity. A short walk and even shorter drive to historical Oysterville allows one to travel to the late 1800's--early 1900's in a matter of minutes. I remain highly impressed with the hard work and dedication of those to have created such an amazing space and highly recommend the visit. Stop in to visit Oysterville Sea Farms for what John says is some of the best Clam Chowder available--just read the reviews. To get to Oysterville, one must drive through Long Beach. The two towns are at polar ends of the spectrum geographically and in personality. Long Beach is very touristy (which I love) while Oysterville is very secluded and serene (which I also love). The locals tell me that there are very few if any rental opportunities in Oysterville making John's place even more of a gem. We arrived around 6 pm to a letter that John was out hiking and would be back soon. The house was enchanting both inside and out and we were greeted by two horses. Check-in was simple. There truly is minimal to no cellphone coverage in this area. After settling-in we left in search of sustenance and stumbled upon Sarah's Rusty Spur Bar & Grill, then later we found Jack's Country Store. Jack's is its own gem much deserving of an entirely different review. We arrived back at John's place to perfect weather and a fire in the yard. John's enthusiasm for conversation and sharing his experiences and home was greatly appreciated. He made delicious vegetarian breakfast both mornings we were there. We had a large tub and very spacious shower at our disposal with lovely soaps and shampoos. We could have chosen either a loft with two beds or the master bedroom with one bed and we chose the loft, which overlooked the living/dining area. John made many local recommendations, all of which we took and we were not disappointed. We also drove by a goat farm that sold goat milk, cheese and soaps. Stop in, buy some soap and talk to the gentleman that runs the place. We learned a LOT about goats. In short--I would not hesitate to stay at John's place again, and hope I am given the opportunity to do so.

  • Our get away to John's place was absolutely perfect and everything we needed! I ended up having a 9 year old, a 7 year old, and a 6 month old with me as well as my best friend and John was so accommodatingand welcoming! The girls adored his dogs and horses. In our last night John even made us a fire and we made s'mores and roasted hot dogs and just looked at the stars. John has been a lot of places and seen a lot of things and his stories are the best! His home is so cute and quiet and the bath tub is amazing. I cannot say enough good things about our stay. It couldn't have been any more perfect!

  • John is fun and a wonderful host. His place is clean and comfortable. He made us a wonderful breakfast and shared the recipe. We will go back for sure.

    Anita2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • John was fun and easy going. He was enjoying a fire in the fire pit when we returned from the beach the second night and invited us to join him. The place is nice, and honestly better than the pictures make it seem. Added bonus was the very large soaking tub. Really a nice way to finish a day at the beach.

    Ron2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • John’s place is a hidden treasure! My son and I stayed for several days and couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. I stayed in the master bedroom with adjoining bath. Great space with a walk-in closet and very comfortable bed. My son enjoyed his own large area upstairs. John fixed us delicious breakfasts and gave us several excellent tips on restaurants, a bakery and coffeehouse in the surrounding area. The neighborhood is quiet and close to the Oysterville beach access and historic village. Don’t miss the walking tour of historic Oysterville. John’s place is an excellent and affordable choice for your stay on the Long Beach Peninsula!

    Susan2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying at John’s place. He was kindly accommodating us with our late arrival. His bed and breakfast was clean and surprised us with some nice additions such as options of bath salt. He is an amazing storyteller. If you look for inspirations, make sure to chat with him. He has a lot of great stories that will make you want to be more adventurous.

  • Literally a perfect place to stay for an in state getaway!! The bed was insanely comfortable and the amenities were more than accommodating. The only downside to the location is finding Uber or Lyft to get to the casino and back LOL other than that which I wouldn’t count against the house, was absolutely stunning, clean and the homeowners were great. We got to check in earlier as well! My favorite small touch is the guest book ♥️ thank you for an amazingh birthday weekend stay!!

This small cozy log cabin is nestled in southwest Washington green wilderness. Find yourself peacefully snuggling in the swing on the front porch, listening to the birds chirping, hawk calling and frogs croaking. We are close to the airport, Amtrak station, art and culture, parks, and city center. You’ll love our retreat...the outdoor space, the comfy bed, and the amenities. Couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families alike will enjoy the comforts of home away from home!
The Cabin in theWild Wood is conveniently located between Portland and Seattle, just 3 miles off the interstate. We are a very small, family owned business who have owned the property for nearly 25 years! It wasn't until recently that we have decided to share our piece of heaven with you! We love the outdoors and have wonderful memories of camping in this cabin with our kids and grandkids and hope that you will too.
Bring some apples for the cows, deer or elk. We are on a private dead end road. But, neighbors are close.
  • Quaint. Serene. Wooded. Very large bed. Fire pit. Everything needed for a weekend getaway. You'll love it.

    Tyler2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location! Spacious and located super close to town, but you feel out in the woods!

    Tiffany2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Super cozy cabin with all the modern amenities in a rustic atmosphere. Excellent for a get-away from your daily grind.

    Aimee2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • I had a fabulous experience at the cabin. I needed "long" short term accommodations and Jack and Kay made it possible for me. They were great to work with, very friendly, quick to respond to my questions and needs and made me feel very welcome. The cabin was a perfect fit for my needs and I'll just say you won't regret spending a day, a weekend, or a week at the cabin.

    Caroline2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean and cozy cabin with so many nice touches! Great location. We loved the privacy and quietness. We would love to stay here again!

    Hannah And Dave2019-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Better than a five-star resort! Besides being a perfect cabin in the woods to escape for a few days, our hosts left us plenty of coffee, fresh cream, baked treats, fresh linens, toiletries (including a brand new loofa), and everything we could have possibly needed to entertain ourselves for a few days. We slept like bears in the lofted bedroom and the fire pit in the woods was the perfect venue for our final night to have a few family guests over, complete with chairs and makings for s’mores! 10/10 would visit again. Thanks Jack!

    Lisa2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is definitely the place to come if your looking for a quiet little get away!!! The cabin is beautiful & cozy! It’s fully equipped with everything you need & probably a few things you didn’t think of. Has a little pasture outside that we enjoyed while sitting on the front porch watching the cow. Wonderful place!!! :)

  • The room was cozy. Ronda was very nice and her dogs were friendly. She made us breakfast in the morning which was a very nice addition to the stay. The house was well decorated.

    Kevin2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, quiet, & personable. The room had it’s own heater which was a great touch. The shower head had great water pressure which is a very underrated amenity when traveling. I didn’t get to see Rhonda too much due to me arriving late & checking out early, but when I did she was very pleasant & hospitable.

    Ashley2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The room was warm, cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. The decor was 1900's train themed, and it all flowed together. Ronda has created an excellent out-of-the-way for adventures near Mt. St. Helens.

    Crash2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ronda was very welcoming, as were her dogs. She was willing to let me bring my dog into her home as well, which I very much appreciated. Everything was clean, and well organized. We really enjoyed our stay!

  • Great place to stay between Portland & Olympia, friendly dogs and it's a nice touch to have breakfast offered - delicious!

    Remington2019-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • This little farm on the prairie is a beautiful place to get out of the city and enjoy everything there is to love about country living. Ronda was a kind and warm hostess. We arrived late after a day of hiking in the rain. Ronda let us use her kitchen to make a hot meal and even shared squash from her garden. We slept soundly in a cozy room with the silence of the country night and the sound of rain on the windows. We had great conversation with her over a homemade breakfast of waffles and raspberry jam. She has a lovely assortment of jams, pickles and preserves for sale feom fruits and veggies grown in her lovely gardens. Her chickens happily run around the yard and her doggos are the sweetest and just want to be friends with everyone. I hope we get back to this part of the country soon so we have an opportunity to stay with Ronda again.

    Corrine2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Rondas place was nice and cozy. I was greeted by her two dogs. Who are super friendly btw. She has birds too that provide sweet little chirps. Breakfast was nice. She must've read my mind because I had a craving for Belgian waffles the day before and the following morning, she made us Belgian waffles! I would definitely stay again if i am in the area. We felt very welcomed.

The setting sun splashes across the dining table flooding the home with sunshine. Newly remodeled with gorgeous bamboo floors and modern lighting brighten up this old country mobile home. Covered porch is nice for sitting and watching the wildlife coming to eat the apples. Comfortable stylish furniture throughout. Each bedroom has a comfy bed soft, but firm. The larger room has a queen bed and built in desk. The smaller room has a full size bed (6 inches less than a queen).
IN AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION, WE ARE TAKING NECESSARY ADDITIONAL MEASURES TO BLEACH CLEAN NOBS, HANDLES, AND COMMONLY TOUCHED AREAS. We have several homes available on Airbnb. They are several hundred feet apart with plenty of space all the way around. Yet you can rent more than one house if they are available and you need more space. The home is surrounded by apple trees and the deer are quite at home here. It's very likely to encounter at least one deer here every day. The apples are free for picking, they are wild organic, and they aren't pretty but they bake delicious. Help yourself. A simple easy is to chop some up in a bowl with raisins or nuts, some spices like cinnamon, syrup or honey to sweeten or not and bake till soft. Yum. Serve steaming with ice cream!! YumYum!!
You are right across the street from McIntosh Lake and the Western Chehalis Bike Trail. Swimming, fishing, biking are all right there. Your neighbors are us and our permanent tenants who are all friendly and helpful.

Welcome to our charming cottage on our family farm near Winlock. You’ll love our natural setting and views of the barn, meadows, and forest (plus mountain views when the sky is clear). Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and small families (children must be supervised). Conveniently located halfway between Portland and Seattle, we are two miles off I-5 and a one to two hour drive from Mt Rainier, Mt St Helens, and many other natural areas and SW Washington towns.
The cottage is a 3 room space with 1) a sunroom with a small table and chairs 2) a main room with a kitchen and queen size bed, and 3) a bathroom with a walk in shower and toilet room.
The cottage is located in the middle of a 60 acre farm. During the day, you can see the cows and horses in the green and yellow fields, with occasional elk or deer herds visiting. On clear days, you can see Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier and on clear nights you can see beautiful stars and the Milky Way outside. We're in a rural neighborhood with small towns Winlock and Toledo a few minutes away, and Centralia/Chehalis 15 minutes away.
  • If you are looking for a very comfortable getaway with plenty of peace and quiet, this guest house located out on the farm is perfect! Would definitely stay here again.

    Leander2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • I am an animal lover so this location was even more perfect than I expected. It's a great space on an ethical farm with cows that give you cute looks, chickens that free roam, a sweet as can be pup that will give you all the love ever and a tiny yet mighty huntress of a kitty. The humans who live on the property were also kind and extremely gracious hosts. The cottage itself was much larger than I expected with a huge and comfortable sunroom. The best part by far for me and what initially sold me was the amazing bathroom! The shower was to die for and gave me inspiration to remodle my own. A really great opportunity to get away and still feel comfortable and like I'm in my own home.

  • This place is awesome. I didn’t get to meet Emily, but her parents were so nice! They are artists and I got to check out their pottery and purchase some beautiful things. The cottage is super cute, pretty spacious, and very comfortable. The lovely dog and cat welcomed me when I arrived; what a great way to begin my stay...5 stars!!!

  • A great place to stay. We were visiting family in Toledo and it was a short drive to their house. We were greeted by Sunny the happy dog! Richard, Susan and Bailey were very friendly, we had a nice time visiting with them and getting tours of the property. Richard just finished a trail from the barn to the forest, it’s a great place to wander. The cottage has a full kitchen and very comfy bed. The handmade tiles that makeup the walls of the bathroom add a beautiful touch. We look forward to staying here in the future and we hope to see Richard and Susan the next time they visit our hometown of Sonoma, CA. Thank you for a wonderful time. Smiles

  • Nice and convenient location. Especially for softball tournaments at the Hub.

    Katherine2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely adorable space. Easy to find, very convenient & comfortable inside and out. Great communication with the host as well.

  • The cottage was exactly as described and Holly was kind and helpful with information about the area. We were very pleased with our stay.

    Aimee2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice place to stay in the middle of Centralia. It is close to the college and easy walking to "old" downtown, Tower street. The cabin was good for my family of four, and would be great for a couple spending time in Centralia. I liked the Art on the walls and the farm house charm. Holly and Jay were very easy to work with and I would highly recommend their place.

    Joe2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great little location. Description is exactly what you get. Not to mention the awesome artwork. Overall a great stay!

    Megan2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Holly and Jay were quick to respond to questions, the house was clean and comfortable. Great place to stay for a night or two when visiting the area, not having a cook surface makes it more difficult for a longer stay. Would definitely rent here again.

    Gabrielle2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This small house is in a good location for anything you might want to do in Centralia. The bed is comfortable and the home has many thoughtful touches. We visited during the holidays and the space was decorated for Christmas, which was a nice touch.

Small private camp ground located just minutes off Hwy 4, in Rosburg Wa. Location is not to far from the 101 when traveling the coast. This beautiful spot sits near the creek and river with pastures and cows next door. Lewis and Clark once traveled this area looking for the ocean so as their ship could pick them up and head back to the East Coast. Boat ramp is just out the gate for smaller boats, kayaks, paddle boards. Shared camp spot with 2 developed sites.
We enjoy the creek and river next to us while also having the Columbia River and Ocean close by. Great for those traveling through the area looking for a safe spot to camp for the night with a port a potty and water. Old house on property and shed that separates the 2 camp spots, fire ring near each.
Super mellow spot with water front access for great paddling, kayaking or fishing. Share this private spot with the closest neighbors, the jersey cows of Organic Valley Diary. Long ago this spot serviced locals and water bound travelers as a local market, the steam ship would make daily runs to this location to drop off passengers here as well as goods. As there were no roads in this area pre 1900, all travel was by water then. Enjoy the privacy, quietness and beautiful valley views. Easily launch your kayaks or boat at the boat ramp next door at the old Rosburg Community Hall. Good launch at high tide muddy at low tide, but still deep in the channel. Great location at the beginning of a 10 mile dead end road for those wishing to explore Pillar Rock Road and the once thriving community of Altoona. Whether by bicycle or car: rich history of the thriving Salmon canning industry of the late 1850's - 1910, Is still evident today. As is Pillar Rock at the end of the road as it was when Lewis & Clark camped near this location on Nov 6, 1805. Pronouncing O! the joy" as they felt they finally had the ocean in view. They celebrated that day by having a big party at camp that night. *Port A potty at site *No electricity 2 sites available
  • Good spot

  • A perfect little nook, with everything you need for a peaceful camp site.

  • Great private campground. Clean. It was a bit noisy (barking dogs, traffic) - I'd bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Lovely location.

    Jessica2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nice quiet spot. It’s right off the main road, but there was almost no traffic at night. It was easy to find in the dark. The outhouse was clean and stocked with both toilet paper and hand sanitizer. The host responded quickly to any questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

    Brigit2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Showed up late on a Thursday night and everything was easily accessible. The site is exactly as described, and good for the price.

    Kevin2019-08-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very peaceful and quiet!

    Deborah2019-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great little spot! The water access is awesome. Each site has a fire pit and picnic table available. And it’s in a great location for visiting Astoria and other surrounding areas.

    Rian2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great campsite for a quick weekend trip. Directions were clear and the description is accurate. Our favorite part was when the cows in the adjacent field came over to watch us cook breakfast!

This rare find is truly magical, you will basically have the run of an entire home and waterfront, dock and patio with recliners, rockers, Table and umbrella. Enjoy coffee in the morning and watching the sunset with a glass of wine in the evenin, smell the honeysuckle and enjoy all the beautiful flowers and yard. Maybe you'll be lucky enough to catch a bass jump out of the water, or see a bald eagle or osprey hunting and blue heron. Explore Mount Saint Helens, it's a 45 minute drive and worth it
Enjoy a brand new kitchen and remodeled home with common areas for you to enjoy , including lakefront sitting area on porch and chimnea to make a fire in the evening at the waters edge. Enjoy having your coffee on the front porch and wine watching the sunset.
  • Kara was a pleasant and friendly host and her place was exquisite! I caught some bass off her dock and spent a few hours out on the lake in the kayak with my wife. We left feeling relaxed and recharged. Highly recommend this stay!

  • Rare Opportunity! Have done a lot of travel through Airbnb. Kara’s place was extraordinary. I expected it to be nice, but was happily surprised at how nice. Kara was modest in her description on her listing. And, she was welcoming which I appreciated. Truly it is waterfront, directly on Silver Lake WA. Guests can walk right up to water. Manicured lawn and flowers. Large stylish home. Guests have a two story part of Kara’s home. One of the bedrooms closes with a door. Other sleeping areas are in adjacent loft. Bathroom, kitchen, living area are on main floor. Modern yet colorful. Fridge had breakfast foods. Thanks Kara!

  • Dennis was a great host! He is very hospitable and knowledgeable of the area and what to do on the coast. His place is also dog friendly which is great for those of us who like to travel with our furry companions!

    David2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis was a great host and his dog Taz was very friendly to our dog. Definitely worth it!!

    Connor2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis was an outstanding host!!! He was readily available to answer questions and provided recommendations to local eateries. His home is super clean and he provided even small gestures such as coffee and a loofah! His dog is super friendly and the location is quiet but also close to town. The hot tub was phenomenal after a long day of travel!!! Highly recommend Dennis’s place!!!

    Maria2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis is a down-to-earth, accommodating guy. His German Shepherd/mix played very well with our German Shepherd. While it's a shared space (beyond having your own private room), he doesn't impose and is very understanding of whether you come in late (or want to use the hot tub out back at late hours). It's a quiet little corner of the world and pretty close to Astoria. He even offered us coffee in the morning! We hope to come back in the future.

    Jeffrey2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis and Taz were good Airbnb hosts. Very good value.

    Ron2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Dennis was so quick to respond. It was a last minute when I reserved and didn’t k know if I was going to pass through 101 to north or stop and take a break. When I reserved Dennis responded quickly and was very hospitable when’s I arrived. His pup Taz was such a delight to be around. Thanks Dennis and see you soon again.

    Adam2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! A cute little cabin that had everything my boyfriend and I needed to take a weekend off from work. It was a great place to stay in and watch movies or walk into town to the nice coffee shop by the water!

    Abby2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect little cabin, and so cozy in the winter with a warm fire. Steve is a great host!

    Nina2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Another lovely stay at this Cozy Cottage! Truly has everything you need for a sweethearts get away, artists retreat, or business trip. The fireplace is especially nice on cold winter nights, and Steve is a great host! I'll be back again and again.

    Nina2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • A cute, comfortable, private cabin with a nice little woodstove in the living room. It was just the thing to end a gloomy, rainy work day! We were grateful to have such a lovely place to come "home" to. The shower seems a little cramped at first but it has great pressure and hot water for days so no complaints here. If we ever end up back in the area we will most definitely look forward to staying here again!

    Elizabeth2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is a great stay. It's a quiet location and very private. The cabin itself is very cute and Steve went the extra mile to make sure we had a muffin and OJ for breakfast.

I have some wonderful rooms available in our historic hotel. These rooms have a vintage look and feel to them. They are nice and clean with premium features. The rooms include a sink but share nice common bathrooms and a lockable shower. 308 has a full size bed. Enjoy our outside terrace overlooking one of the nicest parks in Lewis county. Sorry no TV's or swimming pool. But we do have wifi. Enjoy the hotel’s excellent restaurant's and walk downtown Centralia.
Wonderful park across the street. Downtown living with plenty of parking.
  • Great place to stay! A lot of history, yet clean and cozy place. Great communication, east check in and check out

  • What a beautiful building! I stayed at the Ballroom Hotel several times, the service was impeccable and the rooms were very clean. The building has huge stained glass skylights and old wood floors. A real piece of Washington history!

    Nathan2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Accurate and honest description.

    David2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay. So close to everything in downtown centralia, and the outlets. Great restaurant in basement. Plus, although it said no vacancy, I felt like I was the only one In The hotel.

    Kathleen2019-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was a unique, memorable stay. I felt like I was living in a Western movie set. The hotel is going for 'authentic' which means no elevator, no TVs (there is wifi) and original porcelain sinks, tubs, shared baths. It was interesting. The train whistle as the trains go by is loud at night but adds to the charm if you know what you are getting into. The whole town feels like it hasn't changed from 100 years ago- look out the window and see a billboard for Fox Theatre featuring 'talking pictures'. Good coffee in the lobby in the AM and cute breakfast/ desserts diner too.

  • Wonderful experience. The room is small but it's all a couple needs. The access to the terrace for having our own breakfast and dinner was awesome. There is a bit of noise from your neighbors if they are inconsiderate, but it was never a problem for sleeping. Everything was sparkling clean. We wished wifi reached the terrace and also suggested the closet have a rod instead of hooks - minor inconveniences.
