Very clean, nicely furnished with plenty of crockery and pans etc. Lots of space for a travel cot and Janie helpfully put one up before our arrival.

Lovely little flat. A great base for Glasgow, Edinburgh it surrounding area. Would be lovely in the summer with garden. Also the views of the hills from the kitchen window were a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again.

Literally the cosiest, loveliest shepherd’s hut I’ve ever stayed in. Cosy, warm space .. the log burner kept me toasty all night. Comfy bed. Nowtv is a great touch. So many thoughtful touches, and a lovely hot shower in the morning. Lovely lovely hosts. Thank you millions!

What an amazing place, it was exactly what we needed to relax away from the city. Absolutely loved the hot tub of course, and the indoor fireplace too. Really liked the extra touches and the fresh eggs from the garden hens. The sound of the running water at the back of the hut was bliss AND we got a visit from the famous Charlie both nights! We can't wait to return!! A&P

Our stay here was amazing from start to finish. We couldn't find the place at first so the owner picked us up which was so kind. There were loads of wee cute touches, like the welcome board, flowers on the bed, chocolates on the pillow. The hottub had also been preheated for us. We were told how to find the nearest pub for dinner. The view outside was amazing and so peaceful. And if you're as lucky as we were Charlie the cat might come see you for pets. 100% recommend.

Our second stay here and we love it! Elaine and Karen always leave thoughtful touches from birthday banners and sparkly, to fresh eggs for breakfast! We will definitely be back :)

Lovely place for a peaceful getaway! The shepherds hut was equipped with everything we could’ve possibly needed for the few days staying. The hot tub was brilliant! Will definitely be back for a chilled break away! Elaine and Karen were on hand 24/7 whenever you needed them and we loved the extra special touches they left for us, top hostesses!

We stayed at Elaine and Karen's to celebrate my partner's birthday. The banner, lightbox, and all the special touches were beautiful and so thoughtful. The cottage was so cosy, with everything we could possibly need or want provided for - the ideal place for a quiet, relaxing night in. The location is perfect - an amazing mix of closeness to civilisation and amenities while also being so quiet and out of the way, with lovely walking paths and a waterfall. We'll definitely be back in summer time!

This is a wonderful wee place to stay! You have everything you need in a stylish wee 1 bed apartment facing the river! The hosts are fantastic and easy to contact, they made check in super easy and made us feel very welcome with all their little touches including wine and some Scottish goodies in the fridge 😁 Pepsi the Pony was beyond cute! The chickens are right outside too and we got eggs fresh to make an omelet with! We will be back!

Lovely place to stay

My stay was everything I wanted it to be, relaxing and a great base from which to explore Scotland!

Would reccomend 100%! Lovely host, and the apartment was very homely and comfortable. We had the best nights sleep in a long time. There was lovely Scottish added touches throughout and to add a private garden was a bonus! I travel to Glasgow a lot with work and this will certainly be my first choice of stay. Thank for everything :)

We had a great stay at Elaine and Karen’s place. It was lovely, quiet and very clean, we received a warm welcome and there was a lot of thought put into the small details. Our dog loved it and there was treats left for him also. We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing hospitality:)

The location is far enough from town to not have bother but easy to get to aswell. The street has everything you could need and a 24hour Tesco at the end if the road. The host was very quick and helpful with any messages we sent and both good value for money and a pleasant stay aswell.

The place was immaculate and was value for money. Better than staying in a hotel room and and great price considering I stayed on a Friday night. City centre was accessible and wasn't far from celtic football ground. Central heating and amenities were all working fine. Flat is situated on a road with plenty of takeaway options which was a bonus.

Katrina's place was absolutely delightful - it was clean and cosy, had all the amenities you would possibly need for a comfortable stay, and was close to a train station which was two stations away from Queen Street station. Katrina was an excellent host with great communication (who will reply quickly to any queries), and even left local goodies for you to enjoy (which was a really cute and thoughtful welcome to the flat). Thank you again for your hospitality, and making my trip to Glasgow a memorable one! :)

I cannot tell you how good the facilities are at Katrina's place...First of all Katrina is very quick to respond to any messages; the place is immaculate and Katrina left some lovely food ready for my breakfast each morning. There is good car parking facilities, and the train station is five minutes walk up the road and 10mins into the centre of Glasgow. Perfect.

A very well equipped and clean flat. My stay was very pleasant and relaxing. Only a 5 minute maximum walk to lenzie train station. 6 minute walk to the local co op and restaurants and wine store. Would highly recommend this accommodation 100%. Many thanks to Katrina Will definitely use again.

Had a great stay at Katriona’s it was as described on webpage and was perfect for what I required. It was so good for me commuting to Glasgow in 10 to 15 minutes.

Beautifully furnished apartment with own private entrance. Very clean, nice and warm with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Katrina was a very good host, friendly, and quick to respond to questions. Good location with the Campsies close by, Loch Lomond, Aberfoyle, Callander & the Trossachs 45 mins to an hour drive.

Katrina has created a lovely home from home, sparklingly clean, lovely touches like fresh eggs, bread and milk and toiletries make you feel welcome. We only stayed a wknd but it has everything you need for a longer stay. Perfectly located for the train into Glasgow which is only 10 mins. My daughter loved meeting Peggy the puppy and the ferrets! We would certainly recommend this and hope to stay again when I am visiting my family nearby.

Shubha is a very kind and thoughtful host. Her location is very nice as it is near parks and the canal. A bonus for anyone interested in hiking. The walk to town and public transportation is convenient and Falkirk is very easy to navigate. The train station is close by. The taxi asks £5 per trip to and from the station. The station is an easy walking distance after you learn the back path to. Shubha will show you the short cuts to town and the park. The parks will be beautiful in the spring and summer.

Expect an exceptionally clean home from home and a great night sleep.

Nice flat

We had a very restful couple of week’s at Archie’s flat during the Christmas-New Year period. It was great to find this place, in an area without many Air BnB choices. The flat is very well located – shops and takeaway restaurants are close by, and there’s easy highway or train access to Glasgow and Edinburgh. Flat is very clean and comfortable, ideal for one or two travelers. All our communication was handled quickly and usually in person. We recommend this as a great place to stay!

A fabulous flat tucked away on a quite suburban street. Good value for money. A bright, clean and spacious space. Comfy bed with a well equipped and modern kitchen. My husband and I will definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Was our first time using Airbnb we normally stay at hotels but the place was so clean with everything you possibly imagine like breakfast and so so clean...we will go back for sure. No more expensive hotels for us 😄

Comfortable flat, totally agree with all the positive reviews. It was a bit fresh in there as we arrived but putting the central heating was straight forward. Nice not to worry about breakfast: eggs, milk, bread, butter, jam, tea and coffee (there was a nice coffee machine, though we didn't use it, so no feedback on that)

My go to Air B&B when traveling for work in Cumbernauld. Great place to stay.

This is an excellent property which is very clean and comfortable. The host answers very promptly and provided food for breakfast. Extremely good value. Easy transfer to Glasgow. There is limited parking outside and the entrance to the building is a bit run down but the stairwell etc is clean.

Great flat. Excellent amenities. David was easy to contact , though we didn't need anything. Large comfortable living room and bedroom. Kitchen had pots & pans, crockery & cutlery, cooker, kettle, microwave & cooker. It was easy to cook as everything was there. Also a washing machine, but we didn't use. All home comforts were there. Highly recommend .

Superb location if you want to experiance scotland, as its 20minutes to glasgow, 1 hr to edinburgh, although the train station is only 5 minutes from the cabin and it's free parking so we took advantage of that rather than the hassle of driving and paying crazy parking fees in edinburgh. Cabin is obviously not full size so if you think of it as luxurious glamping you will not be disapointed, we certainly wern't! There is even a hidden loft bed for a child. The cabin is fully kitted out with a shower, toilet, towels, eating utensils, microwave , dressing gowns for the hot tub. Its all lit up on the night time so you can find your way to the hot tub. For the money you could not ask for more. Hot tub is superb always on and sitting at 40c 😁. The area is just outside of Airdrie but far enough away to feel like your in the countryside. The host fiona is very friendly and went over and beyond what we expected. Fiona gave us a warm welcome on arrival , nothing was to much trouble, We look forward to staying an soon.

This was one of the best self-catering places I've stayed in, and I've stayed in dozens! Absolutely spotlessly clean, modern, well appointed with thoughtful touches like tea, coffee, fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge plus the basics in the cupboard like salt, pepper, vinegar etc. Absolutely brilliant contact with Sue and she very kindly let me get in early as I arrived in the morning on the night train. First class all round, thoroughly recommended.

We stayed in Sue’s brilliant apartment for nearly 3 weeks. We had to leave our own house due to water damage under our bath but the apartment was a haven for us to escape to. We had to extend our stay three times due to works overrunning, Sue couldn’t be more helpful in making our stay relaxed. Apartment was very comfortable with everything you could want, lovely bathroom with fantastic shower. Area very quiet and very close to all amenities. Less than a minute walk to local restaurants. We would certainly stay there again and have no issues in recommending this apartment. Fantastic host, Fantastic place.

A lovely & peaceful stay at Lynda's place. We travelled further afield during the day but loved coming back to the lodge, cooking for ourselves, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars and then keeping cosy indoors. The lodge was lovely and comfortable for our 3 night stay and had everything we needed.

We loved staying here was unbelievable how much of a beautiful cabin we got for the money spent. Everything was spotless clean. Was lots to do around the area we stayed too. The amazing hot tub finished off this beautiful stay. Will definitely be back.

A lovely stay in a quiet log cabin. Couldn't see much within walking distance but local amenities are only a short drive away. The views from the hot tub especially as the sun goes down was wonderful. Lynda was a lovely host and on hand if we needed anything.

Lyam's home is facing Hamilton racecourse and has amazing views and close to all amenities inc a retail park and good restaurants. He has 2 dogs who are really friendly. Lyam is a great fella to talk to. The room is very cost with Now TV on a big flat screen TV and a very comfortable double bed. All in all a great stay in a lovely house

It was a superb stay, handy for the buses, good sleep, friendly dogs to make a fuss of too. Check in was really easy and Lyam gave me great directions. The place is really handy for walking in Strathclyde park and there is a Lidl close by for supplies. Very convenient and good value.

Lyam is very friendly.He recommended us how to go to the place we wanted to go,and we talked about a lot of other things for several hours. There are two cute dogs in the house,and they are friendly too. It’s a good choice to live there,and the view around the house is very good.

Lyam is a great host, and he took time out to give us lots of useful suggestions for our trip. His house is well-situated not far from the motorway junction, which was perfect for our stay as we drove through. The bedroom and bathroom were both really clean and the dogs that Lyam has were no trouble at all. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Wow, this cottage exceeded our expectations, completely redone and modern! Right in the forest park, we could not have asked for a better location. We walked to dinner and around the park afterwards. The Callander House Mansion is in the park which is where a few scenes from Outlander were filmed. The cottage was super clean, the shower was hot with wonderful pressure and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked and there was plenty of room to relax after a long day of exploring. We will definitely be back! I cannot think of one thing about the place I would change, it really was perfect.

This is the second time we’ve returned to this apartment. Once again, it’s an amazing space - absolutely spotless and close to all amenities. We can’t wait to visit again!

A lovely studio cottage set in a stunning park . Has everything you need for a very comfortable relaxing couple of days . Pauline was a great host and would highly recommend her funky studio cottage which is dog friendly as well. It's only a 10 minute drive to the kelpies and the falkirk wheel both worth a visit.

Laura and Alan place was spotlessly clean, lovely and warm and comfortable. Great location and views for a quiet a few days away. They were very friendly on arrival and then left us to ourselves which was ideal. We will be back to stay there again soon.

We loved our stay. Very ideal location for us as we was just passing through to Inverness and was just a few mins detour of the motorway. We all managed to get a really good night's sleep. This is the best place I’ve stayed. Felt so at home from the minute I walked in. What I liked is the owner offered to pop in on my first night to show me how everything works. It was all straightforward but it was good to meet him. Was a bonus having Sky TV to watch while I chilled on the comfy sofa. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. Place was absolutely immaculate. Loved the location and the lay out of the place. Will definetely return.

Lovely, cosy apartment in great location. Perfect for exploring Falkirk, almost walking distance to the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. The host is very friendly and communication has been great throughout, felt like we could contact them at any time if we had problems (although there were none). Small but nicely furnished apartment on the edge of Glasgow. Very well equipped and in close proximity to public transport.

This small apartment is spotless, comfortable and good value for the price. It is compact and would be perfect for a couple with a child. We were 3 adults and we were comfortable while spending most of our time touring the city and coming back at night for a “home base”. It is about half an hour from the city centre, but the bus is very convenient and passes frequently.

We enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who may be visiting Glasgow. One thing to note, it is not that close to the City Centre. Please ensure you sort out your transportation prior to your visit.

Stuart’s and his family are amazing hosts. He is very responsive and communicative. He offered me to pick up at the station that’s I respectfully declined in the beginning because his home is literally two minutes walk from the station but When I arrived at Wishaw station, it was raining and my GPS was not working. I called him and asked for a help and in next few minutes, he was there to pick me up with a big smile. He, Diane and Lizzie are very friendly and I felt like home during my entire stay. They open their whole house for me and gave me a personal key to come and go as I please. Room was sparkling clean with adjustable heat and private bathroom with walk-in shower. Stuart’s yogurt breakfast is a must try. He makes sure that you have the breakfast the way you want it. When I was checking out, I was carrying a baggage and Diane, though, she came from a night shift, she dropped me at the station. I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. They really go out of their way to make you feel as comfortable as they can. Highly recommend and I am definitely staying again.

Stuart and Diane are lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble. Their home is beautiful as was the room we stayed in. Comfy bed and a great on suite bathroom. Breakfast was great and we had access to the kitchen to make tea etc. Always biscuits on hand. We were staying in Wishaw to visit family so the location was perfect. But the house is very close to the railway station so also perfect for trips to Glasgow or Edinburgh. Highly recommend staying here.

This place is just fabulous. Give a half hours notice of your arrival and you will be greeted with a lovely pot of tea/biscuits/fruit. The house is in pristine condition. Both bedrooms have private bathroom facilities. There’s a lovely little TV room that you could have to yourselves or you are warmly welcomed to use the rest of the house which has some great design features. It’s vicinity (a short walk from the railway station) is also a bonus- no point taking your car to Glasgow- the train is far more convenient. Don’t let the closeness of the trains put you off - I heard the first one or two and didn’t notice them after that. Stuart, Diane and Lizzie are such a gorgeous family- the warmth is there from the first second. They really do open their home up to you but you are of course free to come and go as you wish. I would highly recommend this Airbnb for all sorts of reasons but the experience you get for the price paid is outstanding - don’t miss this opportunity!

Great place, great location, great value, great hosts

I cannot recommend Stuart and Diane’s place enough! The house is beautiful and more importantly, Stuart and Diane are so welcoming and great hosts. We felt so relaxed in their house, I really couldn’t fault anything!

My 19 year old son spent just about 12 weeks here and the experience and communication couldn’t have gone better!

Stuart and Diane are excellent hosts with a gorgeous home. They made us feel very welcome. Their home is spotless, with easy access to the town and surrounding area. You wouldnt know you were so close to town. We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the future.

We had a fabulous few days at Elaine and John's cottage. Place was lovely and cosy, well equipped and the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Elaine was so welcoming, and John sorted my husband out with a mountain bike so he could have a day out on that which was great. Hot tub is the icing on the cake! Would absolutely recommend the cottage and would definitely stay here again!

Such a cute little find! Absolutely loved staying here! Was so relaxing to get away. Hot tub was a bonus! The cabin itself was much more than we were expecting with a microwave, large fridge and tea supplies! If you are think ‘but its in Airdrie’ honestly you will be surprised! Catherine has a small charming cottage in a quiet rural area in beautiful Scotland.

Catherine's place was comfortable and in a great location for exploring the local area. It's close to Antonines Wall, Summerlee and the Falkirk Wheel. The pub across the street is full of really friendly people, but will be closed for renovations for the next little while. Catherine is a lovely host and was a pleasure to meet.

We were two couples staying while rowing on the forth and Clyde canal. It was a great location. Easy access to lots of local sites. Home made chocolates on our arrival and even more home bakes delivered by Catherine to congratulate us on our Row.

I had come to stay with Fiona and Alex, for a course I had booked close. The class I knew was going to very intense, wanting to stay within walking distance from the venue, to relieve some of the stress of the whole process. Fiona's and Alex's hospitality was warm, generous and welcoming. Their home offered a peaceful and tranquil oasis from the busy happenings of the day. Had a fantastic holiday staying at this home, was very convenient and close to all amenities. The place was very clean and as described on the website. Check in and out is very easy too. Would definitely recommend and will use again if needing to stay in town again.
