Places to stay in Much Wenlock
The Barn at Lees Farm is Nestled in the centre of the UNESCO World Heritage Site - The Ironbridge Gorge. This rural retreat offers annex accommodation attached to a barn dating from 1830. Fantastic position for Geo-caching, Walking, Mountain Biking and Canoeing. It is very peaceful and relaxing. We are dog friendly, please contact me for charges.
The Annex has one bedroom with a double bed and a small sofa bed (one adult or two children. Is a double but a cosy one!) in the living area. Travel cot available. Space outside is shared with the main barn, privacy is respected and the garden has separate areas. The hot tub is in an enclosed area - The hot tub is an extra charge of £30 this includes enough wood (I provide kiln dried) to heat the tub for the first heat. It is around 1-2 bags per heat for the next or subsequent days charged at £5 per bag. I can have the hot tub lit ready for your arrival for £60 (if you decide not to use the hot tub you will still need to pay the £60) If you wish to bring your own wood then a charge of £20 will still be made to cover the costs of making the hot tub ready. I use 3-4 bags of kiln dried to ensure 3 hour heat time. The hot tub gets VERY hot and water temp cannot be regulated as it is wood fired. It is a two person hot tub and we don't recommend it for young children. Please do not let children play around the hot tub area. Having the Hot Tub lit ready for you may depend on my availability on the day. PEASE NOTE - IF YOU HAVE REQUESTED THAT THE HOT TUB IS HEATED FOR YOUR ARRIVAL, IT WILL BE AT THE CORRECT TEMP THE ETA /TIME GIVEN/REQUESTED. As is it wood fired it will retain some heat but will not stay warm for hours should you decide not to use it. It will need re-lighting.
VERY close to Ironbridge. 20 minute drive to Shrewsbury Blists Hill Victorian Town is in walking distance.
  • Beautiful place, very high spec and wonderful hot tub. Emma is a warm host with a lovely menagerie of animals, a thoughtful nature and a magical middle-of-nowhere hide away.

The hot tub was fantastic and the facilities were great. The place was sparkling clean and the views were stunning. 10/10 from us and we highly recommend to everyone. Thank you Emma xx

The Barn at Lees Farm is nestled in the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage site, this locally made Yurt gives you a generous space with a double cast iron bed, 2 single camp beds with mattresses. Heating is by a wood burner. LPG shower and composting loo. Off grid. Cook using the firepit or enquire about a breakfast hamper or evening one pot meal, ready when you return from your day out exploring. Please note, hampers, meals, hot tub & fire wood are extra. Dog friendly please contact for charges.
The space for your stay is beyond the yurt making it quite private. There is a table, benches and fire pit. Also use of a BBQ/tripod grill for cooking over the open fire. This is quite a rustic space set under a canopy of woodland trees. This area is just for your use, as is the hot tub.
  • Amazing yurt. It was comfortable and warm with the wood burner. The trees and the hot tub are magical in the cold winter weather. Despite being not far from a main road. Emma was a very kind host. When there was a small issue with the outdoor shower being tricky to work she dealt with it so quickly and was super generous. It was a really fun and wholesome experience that I would definitely recommend!

    Elsie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at the yurt was amazing. Emma is a great host who adds her own thoughtful touches (the bag of marshmallows to roast on the fire went down a treat). The location is great, being next to Emma's house if we needed anything but also felt like we had so much privacy. We stayed during storm Dennis but the yurt was so warm, as long as you kept the fire going! It's a real experience feeling like you're in the heart of nature but also having the luxury of the yurt. Sitting in the hot tub under the stars was best part! Take wellies as it's muddy around yurt, not best suited for trainers but Emma forewarned us about this.

  • Fantastic hospitality and a beautiful location.

    Adam2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We came here for valentines night, not knowing what to expect. Unfortunately the car broke down as we got into ironbridge, luckily the RAC didn’t take long but Emma took one step further than she needed in offering us a lift back if we were stuck! Once we got there we were welcomed by Emma who was kind and friendly and showed us where everything was. The place itself is beautiful, way better than we expected, the fairy lights create a relaxing ambience, where you can just relax and enjoy. (If it rains the sound of it on the roof sounds amazing). We opted for Emma to get the hot tub ready when we got there and the temperature was perfect, with a beautiful surrounding, you really do feel like you are in your little bubble. We also opted for the breakfast bundle which Emma left at 9am for us to cook on the stove inside which is also where we made cups of teas. There was also orange juice, milk, and 2 bottles of water. I’d definitely bring wellies if it’s been raining also!

  • We had a wonderful time, the yurt was beautiful, the hot tub was fantastic. We loved that it was eco friendly. Very friendly host. Would certainly stay again, thank you

  • Emma is very quick at replying and so friendly, we booked this for our anniversary and we're happy with the booking.

    aaron2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous stay here. The yurt itself is very well equipped. The hot tub was perfect in this winter frost. Emma was a really great host.

    Fiona2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay in the yurt! Emma was a fantastic host and even provided a birthday cake for us! A highlight was the hot tub! Would definitely recommend!

Renovated chapel and small holding situated down an idyllic, rural gravel lane but around 2 miles from Telford town centre, Ironbridge, local hospitals, business parks, the IC (Telford International Centre), Lilleshall sports Centre and the M54 and M6. This room is on the private top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door. We offer this listing at a discounted rate so guests booking this listing will be accommodated in one of three rooms, allocated on arrival. All our three rooms have received excellent Airbnb reviews. If you have any queries on this please ask. For an additional £3.50 per person a breakfast package can be provided in your room should a guest request this before arrival. Late evening arrivals can book a hearty home cooked evening meal for an extra £10 to ensure a warm and restful welcome. We can add beds to this double room for family groups, depending on which room is available. Pairs of guests wanting to add extra beds to a double room may add one for a charge of £6 to cover the additional laundry and room prep, and the use of a bed from another room. Larger groups bookings are ideal for large families. We would of course ask groups of adults to book a second room as we want all our guests to enjoy a five star experience with us and you may not get this if you choose to accommodate four or more adults into one bedroom. We usually have other rooms available and it is a nominal amount to add one to this booking. The rooms have beautiful woodland views and our guests have use of a large fully equipped bathroom that we the host family won't use when we have guests booked in. Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles. The property location ensures peace and quiet with no passing traffic. Free Wi-Fi is available as is a paid laundry service. Our dogs never go upstairs.
Chapel House is located down a beautiful, historic, semi rural, no through gravel lane with no passing traffic. It is built upon a nature reserve and offers lovely woodland walks and views. We are just 6-8 minutes drive from both Telford and Ironbridge centre.
  • Lovely lady. I literally checked in then had an emergency so couldn't stay the night but from what I saw it was very nice. Laura was very welcoming and the house is pretty

    Kate2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Had a absolutely amazing stay . Such a thoughtful host and so helpful. House was beautiful and very comfortable. Could not recommend high enough.

    Dan2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Telford Chapel is an ideal base from which to explore the area, being just minutes from the Ironbridge Gorge attractions. The host, Laura was quick to respond to my questions and able to accommodate my change to our initially agreed on arrival time. I found parking in the layby up the street from Telford Chapel most convenient with just a short walk to the house. Laura met me at the door and offered to upgrade me to the en-suite room which I found cozy and comfortable. It had more than enough amenities for my needs. The house was quiet, the mattress just perfect for me, and the duvet comfortably toasty; all the perfect ingredients for restful sleeping. Telford Chapel felt like my home away from home. Pro tip: on the walk from the layby to the house, slow down and cast your gaze to the heaven's above, the sky was clear and the stars brilliant. I would certainly stay at Telford Chapel again.

  • This place is a wonderful example of the beauty of using AIRBNB. I felt instantly at home, Laura is delightful and very welcoming. I got a real sense that I was in a wonderful, happy, family home with a rural feel to it... heard the pigs outside when I came through the gate which was lovely. Amazing building with many original features. Room was big and spacious and exactly as Laura had described it. Fantastic value for money. I will definitely be coming back here and look forward to meeting the children next time! As a single traveller with a grown up family, sometimes on the road with work, this place was perfect. Thank you xx

  • Phil and Jan's studio was amazing! It is a huge space - far bigger and airier than we expected. Everything has been done to a very high standard and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space. We loved the white glossy kitchen, the beautiful wet room and the thick goose down mattress topper which made the bed so comfy! Phil and Jan made us feel very welcome and were on hand if we needed anything but at the same time respected our privacy. The apartment has it's own private entrance and the underfloor heating made it very warm and cosy. It was perfect for visiting Iron Bridge, Shrewsbury and the quaint market town of Ludlow. We will definitely return if we are in the area - a great find!

The airbnb accommodation is self-contained, within the house, with its own side entrance. Downstairs is an open plan sitting room/mini kitchen with small dining area. The historic town of Much Wenlock dates back to around 680 when Milburga's Abbey was built. A Priory was later established, the ruins of which are now owned by English Heritage and can be visited. There are many attractive buildings and an excellent small local museum and tourist office where visitors can learn about the town's links to the Modern Olympic Games. Much Wenlock is ideally situated for walkers with a number of well-marked paths in the surrounding area, including along the famous Wenlock Edge - the wooded limestone escarpment which runs for 15 miles from the Ironbridge Gorge to Craven Arms in the West and famous for its fossils and dramatic views.

We have a small double room to offer guests the perfect stay, with a coffee machine, small fridge and microwave in the room. Whether you're here for business or pleasure, we are centrally located and walking distance to the town centre and International centre. We are only a short bike/car ride from Ironbridge, with a great connection to the motorway links, public transport and Weston park for V festival. The room comes complete with towels and toiletries.
***UPDATE*** We are currently only accepting bookings from Emergency services and Key workers at a very discounted rate (ID required) until further notice. Please contact me prior to booking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *****IMPORTANT**** We DO NOT accept bookings on behalf of someone else. If anyone other than the air bnb account holder arrives, they will be turned away. This is our HOME and the reason we set security parameters with air bnb. If you are booking on behalf of a business, please let us know in advance. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We live at the end of a cul-de-sac in a very quiet residential area. The house was built in the 1970s and has been modernised throughout. It has a large front, side and rear garden, for guests to enjoy the quiet green space, with a book on the decking. The room is small in size and has a very cosy feel. It is decorated to a theme of celebrating the hollywood sirens, mixed with a shabby chic vibe. **** The Bed**** The bed is a standard UK double bed complete with pocket sprung mattress and memory foam overlay - it is unbelievably comfy! It is supplemented with 2 contoured memory foam pillows and 2 luxurious, quality Dorma "full forever" pillows, plus several bolster / decorative cushions. The duvet is by Fogarty and is 12 togs (3 tog in summer) of anti-allergen duck down bliss. The pillows and mattress have washable protectors changed between every guest for hygiene. ****The room facilities**** The room also has a small fridge, which is suitable to store drinks/ wine or small food items. The fridge is switched off until you require to use it. We have also put a small microwave in there for those guests who prefer to eat a store bought meal and heat it up. It benefits from a tv/dvd player with a Now Tv box allowing you to watch catch up and on demand channel's. We have also included a selection of DVD's in the room too. We also provide a selection of quality branded toiletries (in the Marilyn Monroe box) Bath sheets and guest robes as well as an extensive hot drink selection. ****The bathroom**** The bathroom has been completely refurbished in May 2018. It is complete with modern L shape bath with rainfall shower. The toilet and sink are also L shape with the toilet having a hidden cistern. The bathroom is tiled from floor to ceiling and is finished off with 9 ceiling spotlights. It has an intentional industrial feel to it. **** The dogs....**** As listed we have 2 very friendly dogs - Mavis the pug and Hughie-bear our yorkie. They wont bother you during your stay unless you want to see them as they do not go upstairs - in which case you will have a friend for life as they love nothing more than a good fuss! ****Parking...**** There is plenty of on road parking at the side of the house on Abbey fields, all we ask is you park considerately for our neighbors. And finally..... We are happy to let our guests have complimentary use of our traditional wicker picnic basket, it is set up for 4, but we find it serves 2 best. If you would like to use this, please let me know in advance so I can make it available to you; then all you have to do is fill it with food and wine! Also if you are going to a festival, I provide guests with a complimentary "survival kit" which includes many items that can fit in your bag/pockets
We are located in a quiet residential area, which is walking distance into the town centre or only a short bus ride away. Telford town park ia also walking distance and the beautiful Silkin way can be found here which is great for scenic bike rides or walkers. The nearest train station is only a couple of miles away and normally costs around £4-5 in a taxi. We are also only 15 miles away from Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton by train/car, and only 40 minutes by train from Birmingham city centre
  • Would definitely stay again

  • Corrina & Nathan's home is really nice, and really comfortable. I loved the stay in room because it was so cosy. I tucked myself away and rested (which is what I really needed). My Airbnb booking was primarily to attend a conference in town, but coming from the hustle and bustle of London, Corrina & Nathan's home is a short distance from town (walking distance, number 4 bus, or a taxi etc), so it's lovely and peaceful where they live. There is surrounding countryside, and you can choose between all of the shops and activities, or visiting a farm, or other local places out of town. My room had thoughtful and considerate touches. Everything that you need, thank you both, kind regards, Belinda

Red brick period 1873 Edwardian terrace cottage a few minutes walk into the historic market town of Much Wenlock. Really charming with a proper English Country garden, sleeps 5 comfortably over 3 rooms. Extremely well equipped. This is truly a home from home. Well behaved pets and children welcome!
Poppy Cottage has a lovely friendly feel to it. It is a three storey home which is very well maintained with lots of character features, stripped floors, quarry tiles, sash windows, log burner,as well as modern touches too, such as flat screen satellite tv, fast wifi, as well as a PlayStation 3. Gas fired central heating and a new boiler will keep you snug and warm. There's a cosy sitting room, with multi fuel burner, sunny kitchen/breakfast room, three double bedrooms (one is a 4ft double so we would prefer to only let to maximum of 5 adults for your own comfort). There's a bathroom/wc with both overhead shower, hand held shower and big deep bath for soaking off the effects of a long walk in the nearby countryside. Outside at the rear there are two patio areas as well as a lawned area, shed and Garden Room. Poppy Cottage has its own private parking at the rear for 2 vehicles.
Much Wenlock town (4 mins walk) is a delight, full of coffee shops, Inns and independent and quirky shops, it has direct access to the Wenlock Edge Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty fantastic for walking and cycling. We are also a short drive from the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. It's in a beautiful rural location, 30 minutes drive from all the delights of the Ling Mynd for more out door pursuits, and the Welsh coast is just under 2 hours drive away. Shrewbury is 10 miles distant, with a rail station and major transport links, Telford is the same in the other direction.

  • We had a great time. This is a private room inside a house with a private bathroom. There is everyrhing you need for fast meals (a microwave, a fridge, plates, mugs,...) inside the room but you don't have access to the kitchen wich was fine because we didn't need it. The room is really lovely and clean and the bathroom is perfect. Would recommand.

  • A quiet, simple, spartan room just off the family living space is hosted by a young family in an established part of Telford. A fast 10 minute walk will put you at the International Center or the main shopping and dinning area just north of the International Center. There’s good WiFi and Ralph the small white terrier is always happy to see you. Your SatNav or Google maps will get you close to their place. But you will need to follow the door numbers down to the far end of the row to find their unit. Let them know when you’re close and they can turn the lights on.

Walton apartment is one of Wenlock Studios three town apartments based in the centre of Much Wenlock. Walton has an open plan kitchen/lounge area with a downstairs toilet, which is overlooked by a galleried bedroom with a small en suite This apartment offers everything one could wish for, including exceptionally modern kitchen facilities and a comfortable living area. Best of all being in the centre you have easy access to Much Wenlock’s excellent inns, restaurants and quirky independent shops.
Great for couples seeking a romantic weekend
You & Julie know that south Shropshire is the perfect place to unwind with wonderful restaurants and places of interest, fabulous walking and cycling, and a landscape that inspired A.E.Housman and Mary Webb. Wenlock studios are the perfect base from which to explore whatever the time of year, and we wanted to create somewhere where we ourselves would like to stay.

The welcome cake especially well received. It is ideally located for seeing the various towns and Much Wenlock itself is just gorgeous with lovely shops, cafes and pubs. Sadly for me some shops were closed because of the New Year luckily they have websites. We would highly recommend staying here . Thank you

  • at You are in for a treat when you stay Wenlock Studio, it is stylish, light and spotlessly clean. We had a fabulous weekend in Shropshire visiting Ironbridge and local towns and we looked forward to coming home to our little Wenlock haven. All our needs had been thoughtfully thought through and provided for. We sat out in the little patio with gin and tonic and although it is only two minutes to the village, it was so peaceful. I could not recommend this property enough. Thank you.

Probably the largest Airbnb room in Telford! Studio style room separated into living & sleeping areas on guest only top floor of renovated chapel. Our beautiful, quirky Grade 2 Listed three storey 18th century chapel & small holding oozes character & views, situated on a rural lane on a nature reserve, in the heart of stunning Shropshire. We are 5 mins from Ironbridge & the Ironbridge Gorge. 6 mins from Telford & Telford International Centre & the M54. No additional weekend or cleaning fees!
Our Grade 2 listed chapel home with small holding, is full of history and has many original features. This enormous room has beamed ceilings and is on the private top floor of the chapel. It has a 250 year old round feature window with a gorgeous view over forest, simple self catering facilities, futon sofa, flat screen TV and comfortable double bed with luxury down duvet and pillows (non-down available on request). We also provide a four seater dining table and chairs. This is removed for bookings of over four guests. This room is ideal for self sufficient travellers with table and chairs, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery and microwave. Just clean up as you would do at home! There is no stove, just a microwave oven. The comfortable futon when used as a bed is classed as a double but it is slightly smaller than a normal double bed. We have up to four folding beds we can use for this room as needed for large families. We would of course ask large groups of adults to book two rooms. We would want our guests to enjoy a five star experience with us and you may not get this if you choose to book four or more adults in one room! We do have other rooms usually available. Space is of course affected as extra beds are added to this room. Large flat screen TV with freeview Welcome tray with tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits and bottled water Kettle Small refrigerator with freezer compartment Microwave Four seater table and chairs Crockery and cutlery Tea towels and washing up liquid Washing up bowl and drainer Futon Sofa (if not booked as a bed) Small table and additional chair Towels Hairdryer Mirrors Hanging rail for clothes Welcome pack Local information folder Breakfast and evening meal upgrades usually available (please ask) Our gravel lane is wonderfully peaceful with no passing traffic other than the one or two neighbours who live further down the lane. In total we have three large rooms listed which may be booked by guests. Extra beds and or cots can be placed in a booked double room for a small charge per person. Free parking is available in a private layby next to our house or safely further up our little lane where we park our own vehicles.
The best thing about our neighbourhood is its idyllic setting and historical value. The houses are all different and have sprung up over several centuries. It is a pretty place to be. We live on a quiet no through lane which looks out onto woodland with stunning countryside views.

Laura is unflappable (despite my turning up hours earlier than initially arranged and with a boat!) and unfailingly hospitable and the room was thoughtfully and impeccably prepared. Quirky 1760 chapel resting in the heart of Shropshire. 6 mins to Ironbridge & Telford. Warm welcome, large peaceful room with private ENSUITE bathroom, wifi, TV, self catering equipment and open countryside views. History & Character guaranteed. Enjoy a beautiful country haven & relax.
Our lovely old house is oozing with history and has many original Chapel features, sitting within our small holding, in the centre of a picturesque rural lane on a nature reserve. This room is on the private top floor. We live downstairs and have a communal front door. Your large room has a standard double bed with luxury down duvet and pillows (non-down available on request). We have recently installed beautiful ensuite facilities for this room. There will be a welcome tray in your bedroom for your convenience with an array of teas and coffee and biscuits on offer as well as a welcome pack, TV, comfortable sofa, hairdryer and other travel necessities. We also provide a 45 litre refrigerator, toaster, microwave, kettle and cutlery and crockery items so guests can simply self cater. We ask that you keep things clean and tidy up as you would at home! We are happy to prepare the room for anything up to four family members although it's standard decor is a double. We can add a fold up bed for one extra guest. If you book for four in total the two extra beds will be airbeds due to space restrictions. This will of course impact on the space available but it enables a family to be accommodated in one room together. It is a budget choice when booked for four of course. Please be clear on this. We have larger rooms which accommodate four easily but they are not ensuite. The sofa will be removed for bookings for four guests. For a more spacious group booking; we have two additional rooms we book out, and can provide beds for up to fourteen guests. We have three local pubs and a grocery shop in walking distance. Our home is unique in that it appears to be quite rural and yet is just 5-10 minutes from the M54 and Telford and the International Centre itself, as well as only a mile or so from Ironbridge, Ironbridge Gorge and the museums and world heritage sites there. We have no over looking neighbours and the area is beautifully quiet. For most of the year you will be awoken by bird song in the mornings.
Spacious Private room with new en suite in seperate annex set in Oldbury , Bridgnorth in beautiful countryside location, 5 minute walk from Severn Valley Railway and the town centre.
This is a large double en suite in a new annex, I pride myself in offering scrupulously clean facilities, there are tea and coffee facilities in the room. it is very quiet, only 5 minute walk from the Severn Valley Railway and 10 minute walk to the town centre which boasts many lovely eating places, real ale pubs and many festivals through the year. There is a parking space. There are no stairs as it is ground level. I have a travel cot if required
Oldbury is beautiful area just 3 minute drive from Bridgnorth town centre or 10 minute walk. The accomodation is down a very quiet picturesque lane surrounded by countryside.
  • The accommodation is ideally located only a short distance from Bridgenorth in very attractive surroundings. Thank you Sarah for all the extras, tea and coffee, and bathroom requisites. Your instructions on how to locate you were also very good.

  • Beautiful room in a lovely location, Sarah was really helpful from the minute I booked. The room was extremely clean - would definitely stay again.

  • Great little place, just 10 minutes walk from all of the shops, bars and restaurants of Bridgenorth, but still a private and Quiet little hideaway for a few days getaway. No need for Netflix there was just about every DVD you could think of in the room! Sarah had supplied all number for local taxis, but also offers a taxi service herself if shes around and cheaper! which is great because taxis were scarce. Dont rely on your SATNAV to get you there from the main road as you'll never find it, especially in the dark.. Sarah knows this and gave us specific and simple instructions on how to get there In advance, so we found it no problem with them. There were copious amounts of tea, coffee, milk and sugar so no need to bother Sarah or pop to the shop. My only issue was no WIFI, but that's because I'm a social media junky... so that was 'My own' issue and I obviously I knew that in advance. I love Bridgenorth so it was great to spend a few days there, everyone was so friendly and lots to see and do. Definitely recommend and look forward to staying again in the further.

The studio includes a full kitchenette; kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge as well as cutlery and crockery, tea towels, kitchen roll and salt and pepper. With a kitchen sink we ask guests treat the accommodation as a mini holiday let and clean up the used kitchen items. Full central heating is operated on a timer and controlled by guests using the radiator thermostats. An Iron and Ironing Board is in the Studio, along with clothing rails and draws. Fire extinguishers are located in the hallway.
The Ironbridge itself is 1.2 miles from the Studio. Telford Town Centre and the international centre is an 8 minute drive. The Gorge and Museums are spread over 5 villages, Ironbridge, Coalbrookdale, Broseley, Jackfield and Coalport. The Studio is in the quiet village of Broseley. We have pubs and restaurants including a fabulous Thai, takeaways' and small supermarkets, butchers, green grocers and a post office. Please see village pictures in the profile photographs.

With fees included, Airbnb only shows the total amount payable to the person booking. This figure should be visible after you enter your dates to check availability. Q: Can I cook/use the kitchen? A: Of course! You're welcome to leave stuff in the fridge too. Q: Is breakfast included? What kind of breakfast is it? A: We usually lay out breakfast for our guests and you're welcome to help yourselves to this. Breakfast will usually be a mixture of what we've got in the house and what we're eating (typically a mixture of cereals, museli, toast, etc). If you're staying with us at the weekend this might stretch to something cooked as well! If you have any specific dietary requirements please let us know. We hope this helps to answer any questions you may have - should you think of anything else though please do ask. Thanks!

Set in a quiet south facing position within the Ironbridge Gorge, the comfortable room in our 1860's house has a countryside feel whilst being within walking distance of local restaurants and some of the many museum sites. Ironbridge is a historical village set in a steep sided valley with narrow roads, we are situated at the top, and are an easy 12 minute drive to conference venues in Telford Town Centre. Enjoy our home-baking and great garden.
Quiet part of town. A bright bedroom with original Coalbrookdale fireplace that comfortably fits 2 and, with a squeeze, a baby's travel cot. We can adapt room to double or 2 single beds. Contains desk and wifi. Spacious underfloor heated shower room with toilet and basin. Fabulous views of the area from our enchanting garden in which guests are free to wander and use as they wish. Breakfast is included in the price with a choice of home-baked bread and jam, our own fruit, porridge, oh and eggs if our hens have laid!
Ironbridge is where much of the world as we know it began and walking through its narrow streets past old houses and over the iron bridge itself you can feel its history. We see and hear none of the noise or sights of modern Telford, however its handy to have near by its urban conveniences of cinema and supermarkets. There is lots for visitors to do in the immediate area, also within a 20 mile radius: walking the Shropshire hills at the Long Mynd; the Severn Valley railway; wander the market towns of Bridgnorth and Shrewsbury, National Trust properties.

Lovely warm room in the old part of the house with a phenomenal view across the South Shropshire hills. Very peaceful place, great to unwind. Use of the kitchen/diningroom which has an Aga for cooking needs. Great location if you're interested in cycling or walking as we're on the Jack Mytton Way. Only a short drive to Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Ludlow, Bridgnorth & Shrewsbury. Easy access to the Ludlow fringe & fayres, Hay book festival, Vfest etc Sadly not suitable for children u12.
Lovely setting in an ANOB along a private drive, with SSSI flower meadows just up the lane. A lovely warm house, with a very friendly, exuberant dog who makes everyone very welcome! We're in the process of slowly renovating, so no builders dust etc but the decor is rather tired at the moment. The bed is very comfortable and clean tho! The drive is rather rough, again a work in progress atm.
The Shropshire Hills AONB, market towns full of good food, excellent local pubs, interesting places to visit - Acton Scott Working Farm Museum, Stokesay Castle, Attingham Park, to name but a few. If you want something a bit different then there is, the Knighton Observatory, Midland Gliding Club & Church Stretton Golf club both on the Long Mynd. A stones throw from Wales! Great wildlife viewing opportunities including Foxes, Fallow/Roe deer and Red Kites. Breakfast of cereal and toast is included in the price!

The house is only ten years old and faces beautiful scenery near to the Wrekin. The entire second floor is at the guests disposal and includes a dressing room, en-suite and King Size bedroom. Plenty of parking in an extremely quiet cul-de-sac. Continental breakfast is included, as is use of laundry facilities. Only 3 miles from the historic Ironbridge, Telford International Conference centre, also with the Princes Royal Hospital and Oakengates theatre even closer.
Newly decorated and all new fittings.

A unique space we created by joining two grain bins together to produce a beautiful living space, situated away on our 200 acre farm nestled in the depths of the Shropshire Hills. They stand by the edge of the Rea Brook that rises on the farm and an ancient stand of oak trees encapsulates your view from the doors of the Bins. The bins are heated with a recycled log burner and a small amount of electricity is created via solar. A bathroom and shower have been created in a horse box!
Our farm is a small traditional mixed farm of sheep and cattle which has been in our family for over one hundred years. We have a deep love of the farm and its natural environment and have created these living spaces in order that we can share the beauty of our farm with other people. We used as much recycled materials as we could to create a very quirky living space that was designed as an escape from the modern world and a chance to just be in nature. The Grain Bin have their own parking and access does not require you to come through the farm yard or passed the farm buildings. Therefore you can be as much 'by yourselves' as you like. Firewood is readily available, as we do not charge for it in a traditional way, we do however leave an honesty pot in the Grain Bins for you to give a token amount to the time it takes for us to cut and chop wood. You can also purchase from us additional fire lighters, should you need them and the means to light the fire. If you can coming in the early spring or late autumn, we also provide some additional heating for the bedroom, to make sure you are nice and toasty!
Nestled as we are on the side of Brown Clee Hill in south Shropshire, we are largely a forgotten country. Time here is as it was forty years ago with an area of small family run farms, hill farms and a slower pace of life. Locally, we have a well stocked local shop in the village, a butchers who makes award winning sausages and pies, a garage, post office and a selection of good pubs within a couple of miles of us. Also we have the Willows Tearooms in the village which is located on community owned land, which served beautiful food and tea and coffee during the day. Bridgnorth is six miles from us and Ludlow twelve miles and can be reached easily by car on quiet roads. Walking and exploring the area is a must, as Shropshire is such an unspoiled place that is very much, 'off the beaten track'.
  • The Grain Bins offered a truly unique experience and we had an amazing stay. The rennovation of the bins is an inspirational creation with lots of quirky features and thoughtful touches. The interior was functional and cosy and we kept plenty warm by the log burner even when a storm was raging outside . The setting overlooking a stream and woodlands is lovely and it is a perfect location to explore the Shropshire countryside. If you are looking for a unique rural getaway in a farm setting a visit to the Grain Bins is a must !

  • Really quirky accommodation, our boys were so excited when they saw it. Willow cafe in the local village was really nice for lunch but you’ll have to go further afield for anything else!

  • Such a special place to stay. Faye and Stephen have made a gorgeous, cozy cabin in a beautiful setting. We stayed in early January and it was really cosy. Blankets, hot water bottles and the fire with a glass of wine... Pure bliss. The place has lots of lovely personal touches and lots of info about the local area. Faye was lovely when she popped down when wefirst arrived and madeus feel very welcome. We will definitely be back in the summer when we can enjoy the outdoors a little more. A perfect relaxing weekend after a crazy Christmas!

  • Myself, my partner and our 2 dogs absolutely loved our stay! We were immediately welcomed by the farm dogs who were very friendly (Dan even escorted me to the loo in the dark one evening, what a gorgeous dog he is). Faye was lovely and showed us around. We were then left to our own devices, to enjoy the peace and quiet of the location. However, the hosts were on hand should we need anything. Other than the odd moo of a cow or the odd owl, it was so quiet that the ticking of the clock seemed so loud! The surroundings are stunning and being able to explore the woods opposite was a great bonus! Thank you Faye and Stephen for a lovely NYE break and for the thoughtful touches to help us celebrate - chocolates, bubbly etc. We hope to return in the summer!

The Old Coach House is a detached annex of our Georgian property and overlooks the much loved Memorial Gardens in the centre of Broseley. Recently renovated to a high, modern standard with a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, The Old Coach House is an excellent base to explore long country walks among ancient woodland, discover what Ironbridge Gorge has to offer with its 7 museums and attractions, or step things up a gear cycling and canoeing along the river Severn.
The accommodation comprises of a large double bedroom, open plan living area with compact sofa bed, kitchen, dining and lounge area and a separate shower room. An excellent base to explore. Situated overlooking the world famous Ironbridge Gorge, Broseley is an early industrial town and home to one of the seven fascinating Ironbridge Gorge museums. Take a stroll through 'The Jitties' of Broseley Wood and find the picturesque town of Ironbridge unfold before you. After your adventures you can leave the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail behind you to taste real Shropshire life in the many traditional pubs, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep in Broseley. The property is situated set back off the main high street and overlooks the beautiful towns memorial gardens.
Broseley has strong links with the early industrial revolution. By the beginning of the 17th Century it was a thriving industrial settlement having close links with Coalbrookdale, on the other side of the River Severn. In the 18th and 19th centuries it developed into a major centre for coal mining, iron manufacture, earthenware manufacture and a variety of associated activities. The famous Iron Bridge was built in 1779 to link Broseley with Coalbrookdale and led to the foundation of the town of Ironbridge which is now part of a World Heritage Site. This early industrial activity has resulted in a settlement of remarkable character. The architecture is a mixture of three centuries of building styles in a hilly and wooded setting mixed together in a delightfully haphazard manner. Dates for the diary Ironbridge Walking Festival http://www.ironbridgewalking.co.uk/ The team behind the hugely popular annual Ironbridge Gorge Walking Festival have launched their long-walks programme for the 2019 festival. The event, running from 4 - 12 May, is offering more than 50 FREE walks over nine days, making it probably the biggest in the West Midlands and one of the best in the country. The festival offers a number of ‘themed’ walks ranging from two to 21 miles covering a whole host of topics from the wonderful landscape and geology of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site to the wildlife that inhabits The Gorge’s ancient woodlands Broseley Festival https://www.broseleyfestival1.co.uk/ Broseley festival is a free 2-day music event held here in Broseley. The High Street is closed off from traffic with the mainstage situated at the very top of the high street and a smaller more family orientated stage situated in the Memorial Gardens directly in front of the property plus the opportunity to visit the funfair. Usually held on the 3rd week end in June..please be mindful that we overlook The Memorial Stage, so it's a little noisier that weekend!
  • We loved our weekend stay in this cosy air bnb. It's very clean and stylish with thoughtful touches like bread and milk on arrival. Broseley town has everything you need for a couple of days and there are plenty of walks and sights nearby.

  • Great location, beautiful coach house, really welcoming, would highly recommend

  • A really cosy little place offering good value. The sofa bed is a bit small for 2 children but there is a futon mattress which worked well for us. The bedroom is really comfortable and relaxing. Terry was really friendly and helpful and the bread, milk and beer on arrival was a nice touch. Also all the information regarding things to do and places to eat was very helpful. We really enjoyed exploring the surrounding area which has loads to do especially with kids. We got a years passport worth £70 with our Tesco club points which enabled us to get into all the local museums for free which was a bonus.

  • A cosy and stylish place to stay! Broseley is a charming little village and an ideal base from which to explore the Ironbridge region and has a couple of good restaurants too! The couch house is compact but has everything you need and is very comfortable. Terry and Nina were extremely welcoming hosts. We’d definitely stay here again!

  • First class location in Broseley which still boasts independent retailers, cafes and bars. At the head of the valley it’s a total work out for cyclists - the hills into Ironbridge are amazing and once you’ve worked out the short cuts not TOO bad coming back up! Terry was an excellent host and gave me some great local walking tips- the accommodation was first class, clean, well appointed and comfortable - and as a massive bonus for me, as I like cooking, it’s the first Airbnb I’ve stayed at with a proper sharp kitchen prep knife - nice one Terry! I shall, if invited, be staying again. Thank you so much
