This place is called "La Cidrerie" because it was originally used to make cider. In the past, apples were pressed there, juice was fermented in barrels, cider was produced, stored and tasted. By carefully observing the entrance, we can notice in the stone characteristic traces of wear: these are the marks left by the repeated passage of cider barrels.
