Beautiful rural location, close to many attractions...Arabella provided a lovely welcoming fruit cake, as well as essentials to get us started for breakfast. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. Kitchenette very small, but adequate for breakfast. Wifi a bit hit and miss, but that did not bother us at all. Would recommend this lovely retreat.

We had a great and enjoyable stay in this comfortable, well provided and equipped spot with a thoughtful and helpful host Arrabella. There is lots to do locally and some good eating in the Great Place. Recommended.

The Coach House is a sophisticated, clean and very pleasant accommodation. Thanks to the great weather we enjoyed the patio and the beautiful surroundings to the fullest. The accommodation can be highly recommended.

Arabella was away when we came to stay but was easy to contact prior to our arrival. Access to the accommodation was without any hitches. We had planned to cook dinner on our first night, but the kitchenette was very basic so we ate out and had to be creative about breakfast! Also, the 3 bed room is a little cramped ... probably fine for small children but a bit of a squish for adults and no room to put things.

We loved our time at The Coachhouse. It was a great accommodation in a great part of the UK countryside. Arabella was a great host, responded quickly to any questions and kept us informed on our booking. She also provided information and resources about the area, which were greatly appreciated. The kitchenette, whilst small, was functional, and the beds and bath were terrific! Highly recommended!

Brilliant idyll as described, Arabella was a very welcoming and flexible host, and the homemade cake made for a lovely welcome on arrival! The Coach House is an sensitively converted property, with touches of it's original use still there whilst having all a visitor would need for a comfortable, hassle-free stay No complaints at all, and as an ex-resident of the area, I can only say that East Sussex in many ways remains a hidden gem, the countryside was in the beginnings of Spring, and was picture postcard, whilst still being friendly and open. I'd highly recommend giving Arabella a visit and savouring the sights, smells and tastes that the area offers

This property is a stunning and tastefully executed barn conversion. It retains the overall farmhouse feel externally but inside it is all about comfort and charming modernity. The interior is quite breathtaking with a well equipped large farmhouse style kitchen, a comfortably furnished huge living/lounge area. And then you go through a secret door upstairs.... Wow! The entire top floor holds the master bedroom with a real "wow" factor. It is very large but still retains a cosy feel with clever furnishings, sloping ceilings (watch your head) and those tasteful extras which makes all the difference, like soft furnishings, tasteful decorations, a decent library and games for the kids. The large king size bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The barn is located in a pretty rural area, off the main roads yet within easy access to shops and a Tesco supermarket. The turning to the farm is quite well hidden so drive slowly on approach. The hosts are a genuine and wonderful couple, with a mission to welcome their guests with warmth and charm. Overall is was an amazing experience. Highly recommended as a base to explore Kent or just relax and enjoy the house itself. We will be back.

If you are looking for peace and quiet in the heart of the English countryside, this is an ideal location. Although the Barn looks rustic from the outside, the interior is modern, tastefully designed and well appointed. You are surrounded by fields and trees and only the sounds of nature. We had a very pleasant stay and interaction with our hosts.

Wow - what can I say this is possibly the best airbnb we have stayed in as a family. Carrie had thought of absolutely everything, especially for the kids. There were games, a highchair, a beautiful cot and outside space. Carrie was the perfect host, there when you needed her and left us alone for the rest of the time. Hope to come back again!

Lovely and cozy lodge. Beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped to stay with children. Carrie is a wonderful hostess who provided us with everything we needed. We had a very nice time on such a beautiful surroundings. We would love to repeat soon!

Our stay at Clare's was superb! As hosts, her and her entire family were extremely kind, warm hearted people who make me want to escape the city more often. Clare really went out of her way to make us feel at home and cared for - they even filled our fridge with fresh eggs from their chickens, fresh bread and milk. I could not rave any louder about our stay. If you're planning a getaway, go to Clare's for an exceptional stay. We're so grateful to her and the family for our wonderful time away, we will be back!!!!! Massive 5 stars from us, simply amazing!!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful property in Hawkhurst, Kent. The bedrooms, living areas and kitchen were spacious and well kept, and catered for our group of 10 perfectly. Beautiful grounds and deck (with sunshine) meant we had a great time bbq'ing and enjoying the view. Highly recommend.

Kate was a fantastic host, very welcoming and lovely. The room was brilliant, a good size and self contained which made for a nice little getaway. Breakfast was amazing, freshly baked bread, fruit, pastries, coffee, juice and home made cup cakes. We have a great time!

Kate made my girlfriend and I feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. The room was beautiful, clean and the breakfast supplies were amazing - we even got a lift to the pub in the evening for NYE, which a was very nice gesture. We would definitely recommend it to others!

Our host was there when we arrived and welcomed us to her B & B with some chocolate cake. The property was as described in the listing and suited our needs exactly. The room was very spacious with bathroom, television and WIFI. A plentiful and delicious breakfast was brought up each evening so we could eat on our own schedule in the morning. We could come and go at our own leisure, which was one feature that we enjoyed. The neighbourhood was a quiet village which was conducive to local walks. A booklet and/or our host provided information about local places of interest, eateries, laundry services, travel directions, etc. All in all, an excellent experience.

Kate was very friendly and showed us brochures of many of the local attractions. She recommended some restaurants in Rye. The room above the garage was very spacious, clean, comfortable and private. We loved being able to come and go without interrupting the main house. Highly recommend.

Our host was very welcoming and very flexible with timings. We loved the fact that everything we needed for breakfast was brought to our room the night before, allowing us to get up when we were ready. Idea.ly located for Sissinghurst, Great Dixter and any Sarah Raven events.

I had a fabulous stay here and thoroughly recommend it. The room is spacious and so clean and fresh. Being apart from the main house, it also affords great privacy. Kate's attention to detail is wonderful, and she provides a very generous spread for breakfast!

The breakfast in the morning was great - fresh fruits, granola, cereals, yoghurt and some freshly baked croissants. Lovely stay and would recommend :)

We stayed at Sue's place for one night on Easter weekend and really enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival, we met Sue and Alan, who were lovely and full of good local pub and walk recommendations. The room was really nicely prepared for us and exactly as photographed - great for romantic getaway. The breakfast spread left in the room was outstanding and was packed full of locally products, which was a nice touch. We also found chocolate eggs on our pillows in what was a nice Easter gesture. The location was also ideal, right in the centre of Beneneden, a stone's throw from the Bull, which had great food - as recommended by Sue and Allan. All in all, a nice place to stay the night.

For a rather last minute booking, Sue was communicative and thought of everything. She booked us in for a meal at the local pub (mere steps from the cabin) which was delicious! She gave us some tips on places to see and things to do, and was genuinely lovely to talk to, even before we arrived! We let Sue know we were on our way after stopping off at some National Trust places, and we were greeted at the door and shown to our cabin. It's a lovely space, big bed, good shower, and handy kitchen equipment for that much needed cup of tea/coffe! Lovely bread and jams were provided for breakfast in the morning. The location is quiet and residential, and is conveniently located to some lovely sites like Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst and Rye. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would recommend Sue's cabin to anyone exploring the Kent Wealds.

We would highly recommend this beautifully presented summer house, which we used as a base for visiting the nearby bluebell woods and countryside. Sue was the perfect host, including lots of personal touches and kindly lent us a map for our walk.

Fantastic place! Very clean, cosy, lovely decor and ... the best towels ever :) We felt like at home. Sue provided us with fresh local food and homemade cookies. Great escape for couples!

The warmest of welcomes from Emma and her sons. The Studio was even more than I expected, comfortable, beautifully decorated and just a great feel about the place. Set in a stunning garden and area with the added bonus of a charming pub next door. Emma couldn't do enough to make my stay a great one. There was fresh bread and local jam on arrival which showed that Emma gave that extra touch to everything in the Studio. The perfect stay.

Emma's studio, situated in the beautiful Kent countryside was absolutely stunning! The surrounding gardens are a joy to look over and the whole property is incredibly well maintained. The little touches that Emma provided, such as the local bread and jam really show that she cared for her guests. We could not have asked for more from our host. The summerhill Studio of Emma is an absolutely wonderfull place to stay. The studio is very spacious, has been furnished with a lot of attention to detail and the bed slept really amazing. Emma was a very warm and welcoming host, and I definitely recommend staying at her place... as you will enjoy all of it!

The Studio was a fantastic self-contained gem, Emma a lovely host and added to the morning autumn sunlight streaming into the garden there is a delightful very old pub next door to spend some evening time. A true delight, peaceful and well located on the Weald of Kent. Thank you Emma

Emma was really helpful and great at communicating with us in the lead up (even though we didn't see her this time). The studio was very clean, done to a really high standard and the bed was huge and very comfy. It also has a little terrace with table and chairs that is good to sit out on. The studio is just on the right before the pub, down a gravel drive with gates at the end. We'd definitely stay again if we are in the area. The whole place is light and airy and looks bigger than the pictures. Thanks!

We had a nice relaxing stay in Kent. This was a lovely studio in a quiet setting. Close to interesting places to visit, also worth walking round the corner to the peaceful orchard nearby. Plenty of local food to enjoy in the pubs nearby. Helpful list of places to visit and eat provided. We could come and go as we pleased which made the stay very pleasant and relaxing. Many thanks!

Perfect for what we needed as it was close to Benenden and we were going to watch a play. It was very private and a gorgeous space very modern as the photos. The location is very scenic and has a local pub next door which was nice for a drink. We loved our stay some nice little touches with tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge. The host was lovely we will be back.
