What a charming guest house. High-end fixtures and appliances make for a relaxing and convenient experience. An excellent location, close to downtown, but far enough to have quite natural surroundings. Would recommend to anyone.

We needed an extended, three week stay in East Grand Rapids due to the birth of a grandchild just before the holidays and an influx of family. We selected Jean's place due to proximity to our daughter's house and are oh so happy we did. It proved to be perfect. The space is a newly constructed two bedroom apartment over a three car garage. Upon entering, there is a large open area with a well equipped kitchen (full size refrig, stove, oven, country sink, microwave and dishwasher) and living/dining room. The space is comfortable and functional for two couples. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and large closets on either side of a large bath with a great tiled shower. The location is ideal. Downtown East Grand Rapids is an easy five minute walk. It's a cute town with restaurants, boutique stores, coffee shops, grocery store, pharmacy, a library and a town park on Reeds Lake. Only a block away is a three mile paved trail around Reeds Lake that even in winter attracts bikers, joggers and walkers. Jean and Dale were great hosts. They were very accommodating of our needs without being intrusive. They are very nice people.

The place was clean. We had a whole level and the bathroom to ourselves which created great privacy. We would stay there again if we needed to be in the area again overnight!

Lovely old neighbourhood. Daniel was there to meet us with a key and showed us around. They provided organic cereal , juice (not from concentrate!) and fruit for breakfast and there was a table by a window to have breakfast too. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Kristi.

Stayed for a business trip. Kristi and her husband were very warm and welcoming. Upstairs is furnished nicely and quite cozy. While the location is a little removed from downtown Grand Rapids, the friendliness, hospitality, and value more than make up for the short Uber/Lyft ride.

Everything about Devin And Joseph's place is easy. Easy to book, easy to find, easy to park, and easy to communicate. The room was clean and not smelly. The dogs are friendly, happy, and well behaved. I had no issues with the Wifi. Both Devin And Joseph are attentive and did their best to make sure that I had everything I needed. Overall, it was exactly what I needed during a very busy week.

A perfect overnight Experience. My boyfriend and I needed a place to stay overnight in Grand Rapids and I'm so thankful that Devin and Joseph opened their home to us. This was our first AirBnB experience and I must say it exceeded our expectations. We arrived Saturday evening to drop off our luggage, both Joseph and Devin met us at the door (along with their two beautiful dogs). The house was newly remodeled and spotless. Our room was spacious, comfortable and right next to bathroom. The house was so adorable!! Location was the best part, just a few minutes from downtown. We went to Founders to enjoy Beer Week and then went back to Devin and Joseph's to get ready for our show at The Intersection. Devin and Joseph were very friendly and accommodating. Thanks again guys! We can't wait to stay again. You have our recommendation!

The hosts were very friendly, communicative, and worked hard to make sure we had whatever we needed. The kitchen was being remodeled, so there was some dust and things involved with that, but Joseph did his best to clean and organize. It was a nice place and the coffee shop next door was a real plus. The price was right. We would certainly stay again.

Devin and Joseph were very nice and helpful. I was running extremely late (thanx Indiana construction) and Joseph fought through some extreme 'hanger' to wait for me to get me checked in right away. The room is perfect for the price and only a $7-$8 Uber ride from downtown.

Devin and Joseph arrived just after I did, they were very welcoming, they offered me left-over Easter dinner after my long trip, I settled on the rum cake. Very good. They were accommodating with me coming back to their home after my concert, they were very quiet. Bed was comfortable. And the guest parking was plentiful. I sure home I will be welcomed back the next time I come to down. For my first experience, it was a great one.

What a beautiful home and a welcoming hostess! She really makes people feel like they are close friends and family and has a lot of little extra touches to make you feel comfortable. We will surely be back if we are in the area!

Sherri was very sweet and kind! She gave us as much privacy but also invited us to help ourselves to whatever we needed. The place is cozy and we had access to a fireplace. The room has a private bathroom, and if we did not want to leave the house through the front door, we were able to use the backdoor through the balcony.

Our stay with Sherri and Bob was awesome! They were very welcoming and gave us some great recommendations about sight seeings and places to eat. The room is spacious, with private bathroom and big closet. We`ve had everything we needed in there! The location is very calm and beautiful and not far away from the downtown. We totally recommend this place!

Sherri and Bob were amazing hosts, more than I could have ever asked. After a long day they greeted me like a family guest and are simply wonderful people! Their home is beautiful and the en suite was perfectly private, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Sherri even left a fresh baked cookie on my nightstand...along with a muffin for the morning. I stayed a Stephen's place for the night and greatly enjoyed the experience. Stephen was quick to respond to my questions and let me check in early; I was in town for an event and wouldn't be back until late in the evening. The room was clean and spacious. Definitely a great deal for the price. The location is close to downtown and anything else you'd want to do.

Stephen's place was awesome. Comfy bed, clean house, hot shower, and super cheap. Even though we unfortunately didn't get the chance to meet, Steve was very communicative via the AirB&B messenger and he set us up with some pretty good recommendations. Their place was within 5-15 of most of GR's breweries, which was the purpose for our trip, so it was the perfect place for us to stay.

Greg's place was great. It met all of our needs. Most important to me, it was super clean and the beds were comfortable. I stayed with a friend in their room with twin beds which work perfect for us. Their place is close to the Prince Conference Center and Calvin College which was super convenient. I would definitely come back to stay here again and I can highly recommend it to others.

Jo and Mo were both so sweet! Their neighborhood is so cute with some hip places just a short walk away. The room is exactly what is pictured, it was very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.

We had a delightful experience with Mona and Joe, even if it was for a brief overnight stay. Communication, neighborhood, cleanliness, ample pillows for a comfortable night...everything was great. We especially appreciated the personalized welcome note, which made us feel very much at home!

Mona was very courteous and welcoming. Unfortunately we were not able to meet Joe as he was not present when we arrived. We were out 'til late and didn't have to worry about finding parking as there was a spot for us at the driveway. Room was well decorated and homey.

All of the afore-written reviews are "spot on", so I won't repeat. I will add that JoMo absolutely went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home. Their warmth, concerns re house temperatures to our satisfaction and the kindnesses that were extended were amazing. Their recommendation for a specific ethnic restaurant was excellent. The signage on the bedroom door reads: "Welcome, Enter as strangers, leave as friends".... we did just that! We highly recommend JoMo. You, too, will have an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Mo was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was clean and private and the hose is in a GREAT location.

My first stay at an Airbnb was delightful. The location was perfect and the hosts were ideal. The private entrance, charming decor, and amenities all added up to a wonderful experience. I was able to have my daughter over to visit and come and go as I pleased. I had no difficulty with WiFi connections or using my Verizon phone from the apartment. I definitely will return.

My son and I only stayed for one evening. We needed a quiet place to stay because we needed to get up early the next morning to visit a college in town. Jill & Tim's home is on a lovely, quiet street that is lined with big beautiful trees. The accommodations were exactly as portrayed in the listing. It is a clean, comfortable basement apartment. We didn't see much of the hosts, but they were very clear with directions & communications. We were very close to downtown Grand Rapids, which was convenient. We came during Artprize. It was a fun time to visit. I wish we could have stayed longer. The only issue I had was that my allergies seemed to be unhappy with the basement(nothing personal, it's ALL basements for me). My son slept by soundly:)

An adorable unit in a terrific area. The unit was very clean, very cozy, and was just the right amount of space for two adult travelers. The neighborhood is very diverse with plenty to do on foot or short drive; great breweries and restaurants are everywhere. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our short Grand Rapids stay in this cozy space. Jill and Tim made everything easy and clear for us upon our arrival. It was also super easy for us to get Ubers to take us around the city and back.

The listing was exactly as pictured/described, and the space itself was clean and neat. The private entrance is on the right side of the house, and easy to access with a digital keypad that I believe they reset for each guest. Although the suite is a basement, it has windows with lots of sunshine in the daytime and stays warm -- there's an electric space heater if you need it and extra pillows/blankets are in the closet. It's very well stocked -- no kitchen, but they have a microwave and a hot water kettle with various types of teas. They also thoughtfully left some yogurt in the fridge for breakfast, and I noticed some oatmeal/granola on the counter too. One thing that didn't bother me, but just thought I'd mention it - there's one section of the house that sounds like it may have squeaky floor boards, I only noticed it occasionally when someone passed by it. It's otherwise a quiet area/listing (residential street, and Tim/Jill are retirees/work from home and are accessible upon request)(URL HIDDEN)note for travelers who are driving: There's easy street parking, but beware - road signage indicates that there's no overnight parking on Even days between Nov 1-April 1. I believe there's parking on other streets when those dates occur though. Tim met me at the door and they were responsive to my messaging and the provided instructions were accurate/very helpful. I would stay here again if I visited Grand Rapids!

It's the little things that make the difference...Yogurt in the fridge, granola on the counter, tea on the stand, growlers on the wall, extra bedding in the closet. Jill & Tim want you to be comfortable! What wonderful accommodations they provide. Absolutely pleased with a spur of the moment booking! Grand Rapids is just wonderful!

Jill and Tim's home is a wonderful place to stay! They have thought of everything when stocking this space with items one might need. They even left us some yogurt and oatmeal for breakfast! It was quiet and very comfortable. The private entrance was nice. Their home is close to shopping, local breweries, and great restaurants. We will be back to enjoy this space in the summer!

I've stayed in a few Airbnb spaces, and this is my favorite! Communication with Micheline and her daughter, Marie, was smooth and easy. Marie greeted us with the keys, and my friend and I had privacy the rest of the weekend. The area is serene and safe. From the luxurious shower, comfy couch, stocked kitchen, cozy bed, beautiful neighborhood, as well as the delicious, homemade scones and granola from Micheline, this rental is ideal for a short weekend trip or longer stay. It's a quick drive, nice walk, or cheap lyft to top rated restaurants. Downtown Grand Rapids was very easy to get to as well. Three of our favorites were Brewery Vivant, Grand Rapids Brewing Co., and San Chez Bistro. We were also impressed by the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Micheline and Ben are the perfect hosts, very warm, friendly and accommodating. Location is in beautiful East Grand Rapids with a good of choice of excellent restaurants nearby. I have stayed here 3 times and will continue to book it when available while I am transitioning from Missouri to Grand Rapids.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay with Micheline and her family. It's listed as a bedroom, but what you are really getting is a private apartment complete with private bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The space is uniquely decorated, very welcoming, and by far much nicer than any hotel accommodation you would find for the price. You will be provided with your own key and have a separate entrance. It is situated in an excellent location near downtown Grand Rapids. We were within walking distance to Harmony Brewery (fantastic pizza) and otherwise Ubered to where we wanted to go. Definitely opt for the fresh, homemade scones. Delicious! Highly recommend for a quick weekend trip or would also be perfect for an extended stay.

Micheline's place was terrific. Very private and very accommodating. The rooms are very comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. Micheline even left homemade scones and coffee from my favorite local roaster. The neighborhood is great for walking and close to downtown without being in downtown. We will definitely stay again.

Micheline's place far exceeded my and my friend's expectations. All things that you could possibly need are taken care of. The space, an 'in-laws apartment,' is very spacious and welcoming with a separate entrance. Having a kitchenette with stove top, oven, microwave, and mini-fridge would make for a great longer stay too. The shower and linens were also quite luxurious. The neighborhood is very lovely with unique homes and is conveniently located on the east side of Grand Rapids. Street parking was very easy to find. Micheline also went out of her way to serve us the most delicious homemade scones and orange juice. We had a lovely chat with Micheline and Ben and are very grateful to them for opening this space. We are absolutely planning on staying with Micheline and Ben again for our next visit to Grand Rapids.

Austin and Tori were very accommodating and friendly. The house was easy to navigate to and was very charming. Everything was perfect- all the little touches helped make the stay that much memorable. The bed was very comfortable. I definitely recommend this lodging to others.

This placed worded well for a short weekend stay. ~10 minute drive/Uber to downtown. We left our car parked on the street for two days without a problem. Neighborhood seemed safe.

Great spot in a great area of Grand Rapids! Keegan made everything nice and simple, and responded very quickly to our request and questions. Bonus: Chez Olga, one of my favorite restaurants in Grand Rapids, is a block away!

Keegan's place was the perfect location. Centrally located near Vivant and Harmony breweries, plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants, and walking distance to downtown if you enjoy a stroll! Comfy bed and yes, GREAT porch and yard!

Convenient location. Nice porch. Easy to communicate with the host with easy check in / check out. I would agree with the no frills description. The main issue is that the A/C consists of a single window unit in the kitchen that leaks. It could also could use a deep clean. Probably not a great choice for a family with young children.

Although there was an in issue with the door initially, this review does not reflect that. Things happen. When the first word of your listing is "clean" you would except that to be the case. This place was not clean. There was hair in the shower, sink & on the toilet. Red mold on the shower curt and the bathroom had not been cleaned for awhile. The kitchen counter and stove had crumbs as well as the front room table. I don't typically write negative reviews, but this place was not "clean". What I liked about the place is the location, sitting on the front porch and that Keegan was responsive.

House was clean and exactly as described. No complaints anywhere. Awesome location in Grand Rapids if you love food/coffee.

Keegan was very quick and responsive throughout the initial booking. Although, upon arriving we found the apartment to be VERY dirty. None of us showered, used the kitchen at all and we all slept in our full clothing it was so dirty. Until Keegan makes a change in his cleanliness I can't recommend this listing to anyone.
