Hands down the best part of our stay in Ubud. Our daughter was absolutely delighted with the garden and chased butterflies and fed fish, was cared for by the wonderful Sugi, and was followed by Nikita the faithful house dog. The house experience was an absolute delight, the breakfasts exceeded expectations every time and we fell in love with Bennu. Internet was really fast too. If you need any help just ask, we rented a scooter and helmets and everything was easy. If you are fortunate enough to stay at bennu you are in for an unforgettable experience.

Made has excellent taste! Bennu House was humble, serene and yet most beautiful place to stay in Bali. We were very lucky to stay here. Let me spotlight few things I loved the most. View, Breeze and the House Made has excellent taste. Every spot including shower, kitchen and even closet in Bennu house deserves a moment. Home Cooked Meal First night, our private chief came over with prepared sauce and ingredients. We walked to the house garden and studied lemon grass tree and other local vegetables. Remember. Pretty trees are not edible. With fresh cut spinach, roots, etc. we watched closely local cooking. There were five delicious balinese dishes. Her Sambar was the most tasteful I had in Bali. Last night, we made the dinner even bigger. We invited three guests, so six of us had Tuna, Shrimps, Fish... and Vino. It was lovely. I would never forget that night and what we talked about. Activities The house is close to the central area. We went to this bar called laughing buddha and had fun. I would strongly recommend Bike Tour and Rafting. But if you want to do nothing and just chill home, I think that is just fine too. Oh! There is this amazing healer who can accu-massage with his hand. If you enjoy strong massage, you would love him. He points the painful spot right away. If you worry about mosquito, do not worry. We didn't even use our bug spray. The place is so open and have so much breeze.

Truly beautiful and unique property. Spent an incredibly picturesque evening sitting on the patio playing ukulele as the sun set over the rice fields watching bats flit too and fro. One of my favorite moments in Bali. The staff was very kind and attentive. We stayed in a few different places in Bali and this property was by far the cleanest, absolutely spotless interior. Made himself is quite pleasant to talk with and arranged a very nice massage for my girlfriend and I in the house. Would highly recommend to other travelers.

Our experience at the Bennu house was really great. The house is exactly as pictured and incredibly romantic to say the least. Perfect for honeymooners or even a small family. It really felt like an authentic Balinese experience amongst the rice fields with only noise from the temples and the barking dog that lives nearby. There were surprisingly few mosquitoes which was nice, but quite a few ants, which wasn't much of a bother. This is the reality of any Balinese home. It is a bit removed from the town center so you'll definitely need a scooter or a taxi to drive you to and from the place (which is not bad, because we absolutely loved the house driver, Wayan). The traditional Balinese dinner cooked at our place was also a major highlight. We definitely felt like we were being taken care of to the best of their abilities. Overall, our stay was beautiful and we're incredibly grateful that we had the opportunity to create memories in this house.

I cannot say enough about Bennu Villa! Beautiful and serene atmosphere, well manicured garden. Villa itself is stunning with many details throughout. Only 10 minutes by car from hustle and bustle of Center of Ubud. Amazing breakfast cooked in suite using the freshest organic ingredients. We were so impressed that decided to comeback with our daughter in July 2018. Thank you for wonderful experience!

We had an incredible stay here and would highly recommend this place. It's a stunning design and set in a picture perfect rice paddy. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and everything was convenient and beautiful. We had airport transport waiting for us and scooters available as soon as we arrived to our house. The breakfast was fabulous. Putu was very knowledgable and helped us plan our day and get us directions. We had a scare with the monkey forest (don't go my husband got attacked and bit) but Putu was very helpful getting us medical care quickly. We would advise you to skip this tourist stop unless you want to end up getting 4 rabies injections on your holiday. Apparently, the clinic told us there are over 10 tourists a day that get bit that end up in their clinic. I wouldn't test these odds. The only complaint was opting for in-house massages. They were not the greatest and I'm sure you can find many fantastic options nearby. Overall, we would love to return and the accommodations is beautiful, clean and the staff is on point! Very nice villa in the middle of the rice paddies. Everything is well designed and clean. The staff is very helpful with everything like ordering food, making reservations for activities, etc. Highly recommended place!

I LOVE Bennu House!!!!! I absolutely loved it here. I booked my trip for one night and extended it two more. I would have extended a week more, if it had been available. The house is absolutely charming. Every detail is perfect. Very clean. Very welcoming. Very beautiful. I loved listening to the ducks and watching them be herded thought the rice fields. The locals are all very friendly and helpful. As are Made, the house manager, Mega, Sugi (the housekeeper) Putu and Gustu, the drivers, and everyone else. There is a shy but friendly dog (who matches the house) who kept me company outside. Sugi even took me with her, on her motorbike, to Balinese Aerobics class. Which was hands down, one of the best cardio classes I've ever taken. (And I'm a movement instructor!) I will DEFINITELY be coming back here again. I love everything about it here. (Things to note, you can smell the burning rice fields, through the open air walls, but I loved it so much, I didn't care much. The mosquito netting on the bed is of fine quality, too. I've stayed at a lot of airbnb's and this was one of the very best experiences.)

Staying at the bamboo eco cottage was the most unbelievable experience. I was happily greeted by one of Wayan's staff members on the street, who graciously hauled my luggage along a small dirt path through the rice paddies to my dreamy bamboo bungalow. At one point, he even carried my luggage on his head to not ruin the wheels! When we finally arrived to the house, I literally was so awe-stricken that I just started ignoring his comments and directions because I HAD to take pictures of how amazing the place was. The staff member must be used to that type of response because he quietly giggled and let me shoot away. Afterwards, he offered to deliver me any snacks and fresh coffee or tea, which I of course said YES to. After he returned, he told me I could order massages on my patio and that someone would come by in the morning to deliver coffee and breakfast. Once he left for the main house, I was able to really sit and take in what the house and surrounding area had to offer. My favorite part of staying here (aside from the actual design and decor of the house) was that it was so secluded from the busy streets of Ubud. It's completely surrounded by beautiful rice paddies, and the air is filled with the sound of frogs, birds, crickets, and a running stream. The house was adorned with little plumerias and I was able to enjoy a shower under the starry skies. Wayan does have another accommodation further down the dirt path so you may have visitors or workers walking by but everyone was incredibly kind and I never felt unsafe, despite the home having no actual doors. The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast with hot coffee and then a massage on my patio. As if that entire experience wasn't enough, Wayan's staff member went above and beyond and drove me and my embarrassingly big luggage on a borrowed motorcycle to my next accommodation. I could've ordered a taxi or he could've declined after he found out the work motorcycles were being used, but he went OUT of his way to borrow one from a friend to do me this huge favor. I honestly couldn't be more pleased with my experience and would recommend this unforgettable home if you want an out of the ordinary experience that's close with nature :)

Wow, what an enchanting place this is! Amidst the rice paddies and still a short scooter ride away from the busy city center of Ubud. Only some locals and visitors from the other cottage will pass your cottage. The cottage is basic but has everything you need (incl. WiFi). The shower is in the open air and you can get a romantic candlelight dinner on the patio. There are no doors, but you still feel safe. If you stay here you will get all the bugs with it, so this place might not be for everyone. The staff is also amazing. Very friendly and even went out to find us something we craved for dinner which was not on the menu. For sure we will stay here again when returning to Ubud!

Really a unique place to stay in Ubud! We stayed for two nights in Bamboo eco cottage. Everything was well prepared at our arrival. Despite the remoteness of the cottage, located directly in a rice field with actually no neighbours, we felt safe at any time, also when we came back from town which is by the way a 15-minute-walk away. The staff was really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicous and prepared with care. I would definitely recommand this place.

The bamboo eco cottage was maybe one of the coolest places we stayed in the last couple months of our travels! Such a special spot!! Beautifully hidden from the busy streets of Ubud. Just a short walk threw a picture perfect rice patty and all of a sudden you find yourself at an amazing, little get away! After the sun set you can watch the fire flys dance the night away as you are surrounded by nature! Amazing stay, thank you!!

Our stay in the Bamboo Eco cottage was great! It is in the middle of the ricefields and some one came to help us with the luggage. The cottage itself was wonderful! It almost made us stay there the whole day instead of a visit to Ubud. The breakfast was also great and the whole day we could ring a staff member for food and beverages. I would highly recommend everyone to go here!

Amazing place! it's one hell of an experience staying at this place. You will barely find such kinda place to stay in your life, then go for it. The host team (Rainy & Wayan) are really great people, nice and helpful. the place itself is very well decorated, clean and neat. I did actually have the best sleep in my whole trip to Bali at this hut! 10/10

The Beach House was beyond our expectations! We stayed here for our first leg of our honeymoon and nothing else after compared to this place. The grounds are stunning and well maintained. The staff is so kind and professional. The meals you can order are exceptional home-style cooking. From the unique black sand beach , the quiet country setting, massages and array of activities you can explore from this location, this beach house was truly paradise for us. We also felt Jamie and Wendy were engaged in our stay to make sure we were taken care of. They have every detail thought of that will make your stay truly glorious. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Everyone who will come to The Beach House will love it and doesn't want to leave this beautiful beautiful place. I can't say how much we enjoyed our time there. The Beach House is situated in a breathtaking garden with old palm trees and all exotic flowers that make this place so wonderful. From your breakfast table you will see the farmers picking coconut from the trees and the sea with fine black sand right in front of you. 5 Minutes by walk along the beach there is a surfer's paradise with nice restaurants and beach bars. We did not meet Jamie and Wendy themselves, but they cared about us as they where there. Agus und Ayu were reading every wish from our lips. The Beach House itself is in a very luxurious, tasteful balinese style. We stayed there for 5 days, which was too short. It was our first time in Bali and our first location. Every location after that experience could have been beautiful but never was as beautiful as The Beach House. Big compliments to Jamie & Wendy, Agus & Ayu and thanks again for a wonderful wonderful time!!!

Fantastic experience. Beautiful location and fantastic hosts. Dream holiday. Stunning and highly recommended if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist trail.

Jamie made us feel very welcome and was really helpful throughout our stay. He and Wendy arranged a driver to collect us from Denpasar airport (who waited 2 hours due to volcano related delays!) and welcomed us with a tour of the beach house when we arrived, despite it being the middle of the night! The beach house was spectacular and a beautiful setting for our honeymoon. Traditional Indonesian carvings, en suite shower & bath, infinity pool, airplay speakers, WiFi ... and the most pleasant, polite and happy staff we've ever met! Ayu's massages were incredible, and the food for dinner and breakfast was delicious. The Balian Beach area was quiet and the house just a short romantic walk along the beach or road, with a few restaurants and bars. Jamie knew the island really well and helped us arrange some fantastic day trips. We'd highly recommend the national park and snorkeling in the north of the island - stunning! Bail itself was beautiful, felt safe and the people couldn't be more helpful!

We stayed 8 nights here for our honeymoon. This place is gorgeous. If you are looking for a private experience with luxury of beach at the door front and away from hustle/bustle look no further. Jamie and Wendy are perfect hosts and as the other reviewers say the place is prettier than the pictures. Ayu and Yayan very very sweet and friendly. They made our experience in Bali a wonderful one. Ayu's massages are not to be missed, we had massages every other day. Also, the food is fantastic, the "BEST" in Bali! We spent most of our days in the villa and exploring neibourhood. Meninjangan Island and Ubud was a nice day outs. The villa has definitely raised our bar of expectations from holiday homes!

We enjoyed our stay for 2 weeks. It was an amazing and phantastic accomodation. The house is more than beautiful and fits perfect into the landscape. Fully equiped and absolutely nothing was missing. It looks like as each detail of the house has been well-thought-out. The service provided by Ayu and Agus was outstanding. If you stay there the massage Ayu is doing is a must. We used it several times and it was so relaxing. Wendy and Jamie are also great hosts. Always available when ever you need something and supporting you in arranging day trips and soforth. We were lucky that we stayed there for such a long time and have not decided to travel around. It was a pleasure to us enjoying the house and to start excursions from there even the trafic on Bali is something you need to get used to. We absolutely recomend this kind of treasure island and I really want to underline all the other words given by the ratings before ours. One of my credo is underpromise - overdeliver. In this case it has been more than fulfilled.

A beautiful spot and stunning villa right on the beach. The location was a little remote for us but we had an amazing time. We walked along the beach to a quaint little local bar but had to watch for the tide so we wouldn't get stranded across the river.

The Beach House exceeded our expectations in every way. It is an amazing beachfront property that provides the utmost privacy. Jamie and Wendy were amazing hosts and their staff Ayu and Agus could not have been nicer. We hope to visit again soon!

This villa make our holiday in Bali awesome! I love this villa everywhere, and I think the villa will become the reason that we come Bali again. My English not very well so I couldn't write a long passage to praise villa but I really love u villa very muchhhhhhh!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Villa Satori, we can't recommend it highly enough. If you are lucky enough to get availability, book it! It's hard to take photos that really do justice to just how gorgeous the place is. We loved the infinity pool overlooking the rice fields and swam in it every morning, most afternoons and a couple of beautiful moonlit nights. We also particularly enjoyed ordering in takeout and watching a movie on the huge projector screen. I loved the outdoor bathroom but my husband preferred the more secluded 2nd bathroom. The villa is very well appointed with everything listed on Airbnb and more (e.g. hairdryers/straighteners, candles etc) Prior to travel, I was slightly concerned about the traffic noise based on another review. Everyone is different but for us it ended up not being an issue at all. Sometimes you could hear a motorcycle or car on the road but it was mixed in with the sound of birds, the music from the rice-fields, the children chattering in the villa next door, the geckos, basically the sounds of SE Asia. I loved it, it's the sound of traveling to me ;-) I slept very well at night and we both managed several naps in the afternoon by the pool, so clearly the noise was not an issue for us ;-) We organized a scooter for 5 days (if your comfortable on a scooter it is by far the easiest and best way to explore Ubud) and the price was very reasonable (slightly cheaper than last time we were in Ubud in fact). We also organized a driver for our last day to travel to a few temples before flying home and he was a great driver and very well priced. Had great fun trying out the different masseurs available to visit Satori. Nothing better than a massage and then jumping in the pool. Again- great prices. It can be difficult to order in takeaway but persist ( and use Mark's instructions in the welcome notes) and you will get there in the end. Worth it - if you feel like a night in with your own indoor/outdoor cinema. A special thank-you to all the staff at Satori Sak Ming, Wayan & Kadek were all lovely and very helpful. Basically if you need anything they will sort it out but if you want privacy, then you can just let them know and they will leave earlier and you can have the place to yourself. Can only hope that we visit Satori again in the future- thanks again.

Love this place a lot. The view from the pool which overlooks the paddy field is simply breathtaking. The swimming pool is one the highlights of this trip and my kids simply couldn't get enough of it. The villa's staffs deserves 2 thumbs up. Wayan, Kadek, Sak Ming and Dewa (our driver) are wonderful and they definitely made our stay a very pleasant one. And also compliments to Mark...he is quick n responsive to all my enquiries and emails. Thanks guys.

The place is magic as soon as you open the door of the residence. The view is beyound any word. We were a family of 4, with a 5 1/2 old girl and a newborn boy staying for 8 days. The staff is wonderful making us very confortable immediatly. They loved the kids and the kids loved them so much. Wayan was like a big sister for my daughter. She teached her how to make offerings and went on grocery trips together. We felt safe at any time to let her go together. Arrangements for restaurants, transportation, and activities were smooth. Pre-arrival arrangement with Mark was perfect. Villa is very confortable and the home cinema is a nice bonus. Mark was very nice to arrange baby gears for the boy, including baby bed even if he ended up sleeping with us in the big bed. There were wet eyes when we left. By far our best Bali experience (that wasour 3rd trip). We will come back, hopefully soon.

This villa is very clean and the people who work there are professional and very helpful. It is very close to the city of Ubud which makes getting around quite easy. The view from the villa is spectacular! I enjoyed the entertainment system as well. Thank you for a great time Mark!! :)

Satori Villa is our new home away from home - only much nicer! We stayed for 7 nights in the master suite and had a fabulous time, hanging out by the pool, watching movies on the big screen, researching on the internet/wifi. Ubud town centre is only a short scooter ride away. The property is beautiful - exactly like in the photos - very spacious and very well looked after. Wayan and Kadek help with everything and prepare brekky every day. The spiritual blessings/offerings twice a day give you the feeling of being immersed in the Bali culture. I can't recommend Satori Villa enough and we already plan our next stay!

It was paradise and we were very very well looked after. In fact, we were positively spoilt. I cannot recommend this location enough and the people we met were charming, helpful and altogether a pleasure to meet.

Friendly and neat

Chad was a great host, he has great knowledge of the area from Canggu to Seminyak which made my stay even more enjoyable as I had never visited the island. He was able to inform and direct me to surf breaks appropriate for myself but also for my girlfriend aswell. The cafes , restaurants and bars that he recommend were all first class, with a good mix of western and local cuisine. Lastly, the villa is a beautiful get away destination, it is situated 2 - 3 minutes on scooter from Echo Beach and all the action in Canggu, but tucked nicely away down a laneway amongst the trees which creates great privacy and provides a tranquil rest area when needed.

The beautiful villa is exactly what it showed in the picture. I had a very nice stay there. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Recommend to anyone looking for a quiet stay in Canggu area.

Staying at Chad & Ongga's was the perfect way to end our 2 week holiday in Bali! The pictures don't do it justice enough, the place is super lovely, incredibly clean and the room is huge as well. Making use of the private pool was also a very good addition and we couldn't have asked for a better stay in Canggu. The airport pick-up/drop-off service is a great idea as well, hassle-free transfers straight from the front door. Besides the great accommodation, Ongga is also incredibly nice and friendly and we chatted a-plenty in the evening. However, she's also respectful of one's private space and needs so she's happy to interact as much or as little as you want. We made some new friends there and met great people that we will sure see around at some point. Can't recommend this place enough!

Chad’s villa is such a lovely and amazing place. They have the best view of rice fields and starry night. The villa is clean and tidy, and the room is large and comfort. I was planned to stay for a week but due to the change of my scedule, i can only stay 1 night at Chad’s villa, but can already felt the charm of this place. I will definite back to this place in my next visit to bali

We stayed in Love Villa no.4 for a girls week away (3 of us). We all had our own bedroom which was great. The pool was very clean and the beds super comfy :-) Thank you Robyn for being a great host - I will stay again for sure xxx

We stayed for 4 nights in Love Villa 4 and the only thing we can say is: STUNNING. The Villa is from top to buttom lovely decorated and the pool is just beautiful. The staff is very friendly and the communication with Robyn and Richard was easy and very attentive. Thank you that we could stay in such a wonderful place. PS: Just 5 minutes away from nice 66 beach and a lot of good restaurants and shops are nearby.

Had a very comfortable stay at Love villa 4, with the feeling of staying at a friends home. The location is great, a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants, but tucked away in a quiet Laneway. Robyn and Richard have supplied all the comforts you will need including drinking water, and insect repellent (both important for your stay). Manager, Erni, is extremely helpful. Be prepared for the sound of scurrying on the roof at night (nothing gets in though). Would stay again.

This villa was stunning. Cosy but comfortable with a nice pool. Great staff, excellent wifi and TV channels. Can't complain about anything.

Great location for a little shopping ..Leather,fabric and a short walk to the beach for sunset drinks. Clean swimming pool and lovely crisp sheets on the beds. Villa manager was amazing and cold air con in bedrooms. We enjoyed our 2 nights rolling from the lounge into the pool in complete privacy. We were offered free transport to the airport to compensate for some electrical problems that the manager was trying to fix. Thank you for having us in your little oasis ..

Nice place to be in. Absolutely same as shown on Airbnb. Pretty for sure. Surty is kind & very friendly. But if you looking for Hotel like services than it won't serve you the best, more home like services available.

The villa was great for relax and leisure. No tv in the villa. Mosquito will be an issue. Breakfast was served daily with small portion. Location was abit far from center. But motorbike or taxi can easily areanged by the host. overall great stay and enjoyed our stay there.great villa

Surty helped the driver the find the location. Room itself is just like on picture, spacious, own pool, and outdoor shower was superb. Even though hosts speaks just few words english, they did their best, organised taxis and delivered breakfasts on time, respected the traveling agenda well.. I reccomend this place for sure, Canggu was not exactly "my" thing as city , but this these villas are awesome to stay at.

The villa itself looked exactly like the pictures. It was very spacious and the backyard was great. We didn't like the location because there was nothing within walking distance. The villa has a driver, Putu, and he and his wife were amazing. They were always early, kind, and very helpful. Unfortunately the management was poor. The small kitchen had no cutlery, there were no towels until we asked, and we found that the staff were difficult to communicate with or not there at all. None of the three wi-fi connections worked either.

Nice and clean place at a good location. Service was good and everything went well with the booking including transport arrangements.

The location was great and Surty seemed helpful, but unfortunately the villa has not been up kept. It is not in the shape of the photos shown. The toilet and shower were both broken. The pool deck and shower floor were damaged and splintering. The kitchen was not clean. If the area gets a make over and they maintain the property it could be really amazing. We booked 3 nights and hardly made it through 1 before we moved to a different place.

Surty was the best host ever. She went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and no request was too big for her. She also makes an amazing home cooked breakfast which are delivered straight to your villa! I absolutely loved my stay there. Villa is clean and spacious and has a private plunge pool too! This is one of the best places and a value for money.

Staying in the dome really is unique experience. The amethyst dome is located within a working rice field which was amazing to see and hear the rice workers. The listing says the location is in Ubud however it is about ten mins from Ubud on scooter. When looking for the exact location we found the correct address on the New Earth Website. The restaurant situated within the compound is newly open so we where able to enjoy a lovely meal on our first evening. The staff are all very helpful and a phone is provided within the dome should you need to contact them. The eco bathroom situated outside of the dome was lovely to use outside however on some occasions we did not have water but this was quickly seen to by the staff. This was a very unique experience being in the middle of nature and seeing a working rice field first hand. With this comes a little noise which didn't bother us so much. Previous posts mentioned puppy's which we met and we were happy for them to share our dome. Not as many bugs as I had imagined from reading previous comments a few spiders and ants which are to be expected considering the structure and location of the dome.

Stayed in the amethyst dome for 1 night and loved it. Sound of wildlife outside the dome was noisy but only served to add to the experience. Restaurant at the heart of the project serves beautiful and the staff were amazing!

I did not have a good experience staying here. Due to ill communication, what should have been an 90min-2hr commute, turned into more like 4. We were made to feel as though it was our/our drivers fault. Upon arrival we went up to the bed which had ants, mosquitos and moths in it. The wi-fi hadn't been recharged, so we had to wait to get in to town (which was more like half an hour - not 15mins) to get in to contact with our family. The location was far more isolated than expected. When we arrived back at the bungalow there was a stray dog on top of my luggage and a spider in the bed, not to mention far more mosquitos. When we asked to be moved in to the villas, I had to justify why I shouldn't have to pay for the $40 gap. To be fair, once moved to the villa's, they were beautiful. But at approximately 3:30am we were woken up by the incessantly loud barking of the dogs (not the 'sounds of nature' I had bargained for). Overall, I feel as though it was not made clear that this place was more like 'glamping' than a beautiful retreat. Had that have been the case and we were made aware that there were no walls, no locks and so isolated - and expensive (especially for the relative value of the other accommodation stayed at in Ubud) I would not have stayed there.

Lovely stay! Expect noise (ie, chickens cows, ducks, cats, bugs). Everything else is as we anticipated. Great food, room service and transportation at an affordable cost. A little farther from Ubud than we thought it would be, but it's a nice escape at the end of a busy, touristy day. Thank you!

We felt very welcome upon arriving at the Dome. Our driver was punctual and very kind, and we were met with refreshments upon arrival. They left us with a phone so we were able to reach them if we needed anything. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. However, the dome does not have a door, so stray dogs and cats come and go freely. You cannot leave any trash or dishes in the dome because the dogs will fight over it in the living room. Large lizards, frogs, and spiders live in the Dome, and there were wasps' nests in both the dome and the bathroom. The Dome is also very isolated. This was fine, but make sure you are prepared to arrange transportation or rent a motorbike, because there is nowhere to buy food nearby. These things made our stay more uncomfortable than we expected it to be. This might be a fun stay for one or two nights if your expectations are realistic and you understand that you will be in an isolated area with animals coming and going. All in all, it was a unique experience but we would probably not stay here again.

Have you ever stayed between Rice Fields? You will never forget the sounds in the night! The Dome is a very special place - very special architecture, friendly staff, who make you feel comfortable from the very first moment. Brealfast is included and delicious - do not miss to have Diner too there! The Dome is a little bit outside from Ubud, but it's no problem to rent a scooter. And what's Bali without driving the scooter?!;) Brian is a very friendly host. You can feel the passion for his project everywhere. This is definitely one of the mosst beautiful places I have ever been to - I would highly recommend it!

My wife and I stayed at Zen Hideaway for 5 nights during our first trip to Bali recently and would definitely stay again! A few honest insights and tips: if you stay here, plan time to spend at the accomodation itself - this is not a space to use as a "place to crash" after you're out sightseeing all day or you lose out on most of the beauty of this home. During the night, there can be intense humidity and mosquitos (we slept in the office instead of the bedroom with the AC all nights because of this), but the daytime is beautiful, tranquil and such a unique and amazing place. We read in several reviews about "night time visitors", etc. - here are the specific creatures we encountered during our experience for clarity: many ants, large and small, small spiders (nothing terrifying), dragonflies, wasps, beetles, lots of geckos (and one very cool larger lizard that visited our bathroom), large rats (two of them got into a loud fight in the bedroom above us one night), bats flying through the kitchen and bedroom, etc. You will be staying and bathing in an open-air accomodation - nature will be present :) We were unable to meet Nika, as she was away, but she was very responsive and helpful via messages prior to our trip. When we arrived, Wayan was our main point of contact. He was wonderful! Such a kind man and very helpful! The swing is everything you want it to be and more; the views are breath-taking; the sunrise and sunset from your Zen Hideaway make you want to permanently relocate to Bali, and the entire experience offered an opportunity for reflection and relaxation. We're so grateful we were able to have this unique experience!

What a perfect place to start my trip to Bali. The open air place is divine, peaceful and such a treat. Even though it's wide open, no bugs bothered, and the views are spectacular. Wifi is excellent, very quiet neighbourhood. Super romantic--- I was with my son, but if you're in a couple--- this spot definitely needs to be visited!!

Zen hidaway is all about the swing and the swing did not disappoint. It was so much fun and actually calming to be able to swing in the morning without worry about allowing anyone else a turn because it was all ours! The house itself is open concept and very beautiful. Our only warning is the swing is right in the path of a worker anthill and as such they crawl all over you and your things and bite. It kind of messes with the zen feel of the place lol but not terrible.

Fairytale type of place. The views are unbelievable and it's so relaxing to sit out in the deck and admire the jungle around us. The house is beautiful and feels just like you're living in a treehouse! You can cook as there are all the things you need available including salt, pepper, sugar, etc. there's also filtered water for our use. Bring mosquito repellent as we got bitten madly but no other bug issues considering we're in an open house without walls. It was a little hard to sleep at night with the heat but there's a ceiling fan that really helps. The swing is just fabulous even though a little scary at first. It's the most amazing feeling to swing into the open jungle!! Housekeeper and her husband are very kind and will also provide transport if you need at an additional cost. Thanks Nika!

This place is absolutely amazing and true to its name! So calm and a good place to recharge your batteries. The view from the swing is spectacular. Waking up to the sunrise that turns the forest into magic is also one of the highlights. One of the nights when we turned off the bedroom lights we saw fireflies in the room, making it feel so romantic. I highly recommend this place!

In one word - amazing! We went there for a romantic time and really got it. Good place, astonishing view, friendly staff! We liked the design so much.

Wonderfull house with a beautifull view and an amazing swing. We had a dream experience in a dream wood house. The decor, the conditions, the housekeeper, everything was great. Perfect house for people who wants to feel the Bali spirit and relax. I recommend for sure.

The house is in a beautiful setting with glorious views. The house is also very unusual and 'ethnic'. It really gives you the sense of being somewhere else and of living a more simple and traditional lifestyle. The host is courteous and helpful. She lives next door and was available when needed but did not intrude. There are a couple of small shops opposite the house and they can provide some basic essentials. The host makes it obvious that this house is not for everyone. It is open to the elements and has basic facilities.

Our stay in the zen hideaway was perfect in each and every way!! Being in the hideaway with the stunning view and villa feels like a fairytale. The swing, of course, is lovely. But also the villa, and how every detail in the villa is build with so much thought surprised us every day again. Nika and her friend made sure we felt at home, being available for questions or just a chat at every time. Lovely people who run this place with their heart! The neighbor taxi was the sweetest, brought us to see beautiful waterfalls. His scooter rent was great too, and everything for a good price. The hideaway might be a bit far from ubud etc., but the trip trough the villages was great every time. Seeing the local people doing the daily stuff like walking with giant pigs, beautiful ceremonies and people carrying the everything they own, or their hole family on just one scooter. Without a doubt best place we've ever been, hope to get back here some day!

We've never stayed anywhere like it. Two floors almost entirely open to the elements, allowing the breeze and constant rushing of the waterfall in the valley below to wash throughout the house. And don’t miss out on enjoying the swing (and trying to replicate the epic Airbnb photo)…it’s…amazing! We spent our stay marvelling at the architecture and probably taking too many photos - it's that beautiful! Little touches like the blackboard walls, outdoor shower and multiple bed options just added to our stay. Communication before and during the stay with Nika was perfect - a (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps link to the exact location is something every Balinese Airbnb should have (with addresses not always giving an exact location), and Nika's forethought ensured we arrived without hassle. Simply, you're not going to find many places like this in the world to stay in, and ensure you stay for at least two nights, you'll spend the first day taking photos!

Amazing hideaway - it´s a beautiful build house with an amazing view and the coolest swing on earth . The house is a great place to stay if you want to feel the nature around you and stay in the countryside of Bali . We loved the place , but it really is made for adults and not for small children . We will visit again without kids :-) It takes about 30 minutes to get to Ubud . Nika is lovely host , very friendly .

What an amazing place. This house embodies what people are looking for when they come to Bali. It is so beautiful and quiet, you almost feel overwhelmed with the beauty of it. And still you are just 15 minutes away from Ubud. The cleaning lady comes by every day, so no worries about dirty dishes. They also arrange pickup from the airport, which was a great idea since it is very secluded. And yes, the swing is awesome. I would definitively want to stay here again.

Zen hideaway 2 was our first stop on our trip to Bali. We stayed for 3 nights. Wished it was longer. The swing is unreal and the view of the river and lush jungle is breathtaking. My husband and I enjoyed lounging around the house, cooking our own meals, and taking in the scenery. It was sooo relaxing. You could also order food from the local Warung and have it delivered. We had a driver bring us into Ubud to walk around the market and stopped at the monkey forest. It was about a 20 min drive which isn't far. Wayan and his wife were super helpful and cleaned while we were out. This was the best place we stayed in Bali and highly recommend it if you want a quite few days in the jungle.

The place was amazing, the view and swing were the highlights by far! We arrived just after heavy rain and the seperated bedroom was packed with bugs and mosquitos. We decided not to use this room and use the study as it we could close this. Had one of the local dogs stay at the place, we couldnt get him to leave! Overall very unique place, abit far away from everything.

The House is amazing, the view overlooking jungle and the river just magic:), and everything was really nice and clean with a lot of comfort. We rented 2 scooters and drove for dinners to ubud center( 30'), so it's pretty close and you drive throu ricefields on the way. The little vilage where the house is is realy nice and quite. We would come back for sure!

We had a great week in the tree house. It is all even prettier than the pictures. All facilities are present, especially the beautiful garden with pool and super comfy bed were standing out. Made takes care of the place and helped us with arranging massages at the house, renting scooters etc. The location is close to the beach, you can see it from the veranda. It's nice and quiet, gecko and bird noises all around. Balian beach is a very nice surfing villager, no touristic things around, the way we like it. I would recommend it to anyone!

The pictures although amazing do not do this little slice of heaven justice. It's truly beautiful. Made was amazing, from arranging a driver for us to climbing the coconut tree to get us fresh coconuts to drink from. The area is so peaceful and beautiful, eating out is reasonably priced we loved the Tekor Bali (which is the nearest) We ended up there for breakfast and dinner on more than one occasion. If you pop in say hi from Andrew and Laura (they are so friendly). If you hire a Scooter, be warned getting it up the stone pathway is slightly hazardous, properly best to leave it at the bottom (lesson learnt). I can't recommend this place enough, we ended up cancelling a couple of day trips we had planned to we could just enjoy this little slice of heaven.

Gusti picked us up at the airport (1am) and drives us to the mushroom villa! The villa and the garden are super nice as the pictures show! If you are a surfer Balian beach (5 minutes walking) can offer you nice waves. If you are not you can enjoy the restaurants on the beach with good local and western food. Putu during my stay was sick so I had to do some small cleaning but was not a problem. I really suggest this place to who wants to relax and enjoy the nature. Miryam was really supportive and Gusti drived us during all our stay in Bali (Ubud and Pecatu) with a fair price package. Thank you!

This is paradise! I cried when we had to leave this house and it's beautiful view and grounds, the village and most importantly the people that made our stay so memorable. Putu is a fabulous host. She included us in a temple ceremony that we longed to see. It was so special to be apart of the village and to hear the traditional Balinese music. The area is serene, quite and quaint. There are very few places to eat and drink but they all have something special about them. The pool is fantastic and the tree house is everything you would expect for a simple life. We were able to explore many of the beaches with help from our friend Solti, a sweet puppy who adopted us for our stay. The sunsets were breath taking. Make sure you have a daily massage with Elou. She came to the house and made each morning a treat. Also Ilou, is quite a fantastic hostess at the restaurant Mai Malu. She always remembered our name and greeted us with friendship and love. We will never forget our stay at the mushroom villa and we are determined to visit again. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

And what a paradise it is! We had a perfect relaxing stay. Made is a great guy and always there to help. Ask for the massage!

We had a great time in Balian Beach. It is so secluded and cute compared to the rest of Bali. This treehouse had great wifi and a great upstairs room to hang out in. Like most of Bali these days there is construction next door. The funky house is very close next door in the shared yard so there is less privacy than expected. Bathroom is a little dingy. I think this place may be a little overpriced because of the publicity, but it is still great and we loved our stay.

I have to say how impressed I was with the the host Miryam, the house and its location, and the help from Putu during our stay. Both Miryam and Putu went out of their way to ensure we had the best stay possible - always available to help and taking care of things like scooter hire and providing excellent recommendations for local restaurants and activities. The house itself is a gem - we wish it was ours. The location is perfect, quiet and just a short 5 min walk to the beach and restaurants. Thank you for allowing us into your paradise! If you stay you wont be disappointed!

We LOVE this home!! So close to the beach and restaurants but you'll want to spend as much time enjoying the treehouse as possible! Made was so helpful during our arrival and stay and even arranged a scooter for us and cut us down coconuts to drink from the backyard! He and his wife clean the house spotless everyday and his English is fantastic even though he just started learning. 3 nights were not enough, we will hopefully be back again soon! Bring bug spray!!!

This is place is incredible! It really is as special as it looks in the pictures. The pool area is beautiful with a view over the rice paddies. Can't fault it! Beautiful place.

The villa is exactly as in the pictures. It is spacious and clean and very well looked after. If you are not a fan of nature, however, I would advise to stay elsewhere. The location is VERY REMOTE and you'll need a taxi to come and go. Plus you'll be surrounded by geckos, frogs, cows, crickets and even some cockroaches. Most of the bugs make a lot of NOISE so you might have be awaken by that. Food options in the evening are a bit of a challenge; there are a couple of places you could order from but we involved the manager in the ordering (who obliged) because we wouldn't be able to describe the location to the restaurant otherwise. The linen was clean but STAINED and could use with getting replaced more often. BREAKFAST is ok but basic. The POOL is very nice and a great place to chill out. Be aware, however, that there are CAMERAS everywhere in the villa. We spotted about 5 CCTV cameras. They point to the doors and I am sure they are for security but it gives you the feeling you are constantly watched and I couldn't relax. PRIVACY is generally a concern with this property. The manager, Wayan, and other staff was coming and going without knocking or any prior notice. We asked twice to be given more privacy and pointed out that there were too many people in our villa. The two times we asked for a driver, the driver was invited in by the manager and the second time he was showing him around the villa while we were there. We had 1 hour left to check out and the manager was already having people come around to clean and do some gardening. I had to complain for them to give us some space to prepare for our departure. The place is very nice but we felt crowded by the manager and would probably not return for the lack of privacy. Finally, we asked for some help to book FERRY TICKETS to Gili T and we were told that if we wanted to book with Blue Water Express we had to do it ourselves (we asked for help because we had issues with their website). Essentially we were pushed to book with another less reputable company called Semaya One because that's who the manager had ties with. The manager insisted it was because all other boats were booked but we got the impression that this was not necessarily true and we were pushed into buying tickets from his mate. It was rather frustrating and stressful.

Lovely place and a very nice host! We had a great time. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Everything looks like the pictures. Recommended!

We had a pleasant time at Ubud.. We're trully thankful for such helpful people like Pak Wayan and Agus..

Irwan's villa is as what you see in the photos. It's very beautiful with a wonderful view throughout the entire villa. On one side you're surrounded by a working paddy field and on the other a green vista of wild bamboo where you can also enjoy a spectacular sunrise. The villa is very well kept. All the amenities are superb with quality furnishing and fittings. What makes the place special is the warmth and hospitality from the villa manager Pak Wayan and his assistant Pak Angus. The breaksfast is fantastic and well prepared, right down to the Balinese coffee. Pak Wayan is always on hand to offer suggestions on where to go and what to do. He's very responsive, easy to communicate with and offered great suggestions for us. While the location is a bit secluded, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's right next to a working rice field with cows wandering outside the villa. The place can be a bit difficult to find initially but you'll get the hang of it. The area and surrounding is very safe. You won't regret choosing Villa Leroy when you're in ubud! We will come back!

Great value for money, home away from home and seriously an absoulte paradise. Would reccomend to anyone who is looking for a break from the busyness of Bali.

Very nice accommodation. Clean, fresh, beautiful bathroom and massive bed. There is also a small kitchen area if you wish to cook. Area is good-just a short drive from canggu/seminyak and right in the middles of beautiful rice fields. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We rented a bike from them and the recommended the best local amenities. We ended up staying an extra night last minute and this was accommodated with ease by the staff.

His reply is so fast, room was very clean. I enjoyed Bali so much thank to this house!

Amazing host! Budi is receptive, responsive, and will find solutions to all your needs. Our WiFi went kaputt one night and he gotit fixed as soon as we contacted the security. Fresh towels and clean home every day. The bathrooms are a bit cramped, but we didn't care much. Budi arrived to greet us with fresh fruits from the local market - such a sweet gesture! He is always a text away. Tell him what you need and he will make sure the driver knows where to take you. He will give you the location and the general idea of prices. We loved his shopping tips :) the villas are a bit far from the buzz of Kuta and Seminyak, but perfect if you want some peace and quiet. Definitely recommend it!

I had a wonderful experience in Pondok Jepun. I got to met Budi, and also the owner Made. Stuff in Pondok Jepun are very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and cozy. Overall it's a very good experience staying in Pondok Jepun.

The staff were so helpful and very welcoming. The room has been one of the nicest we have stayed in since being in Bali. They covered it in flowers, the bed was huge and it smelt wonderful. This is a great and well recommended stay for anyone but particularly for couples that wanted a bit of peace and quiet. Thank you for making our time in Bali so lovely. Olly and Alice. X

Our stay in Budi's villa was nothing short of amazing. Quiet, serene and away from the hustle and bustle but near enough to the major attractions. Amazing pool and we felt extremely safe as well, the property being in a gated community. Will definitely come back again!

We had chosen this lovely homestay for 2 nights. The place was SUPER AWESOME for the price!!! It has a lots of nice features include kitchen and bathtub. The place was very clean and spacious. Mr Budi was very beyond friendly and patient to us. He helped a lots by getting us a driver and introducing some attraction in bali. He usually reply to our enquiries within a few minutes and very efficiency. The driver, Mr Gede, that he helped us to contact, he is familiar in every corner of bali and always recommend us good places and food. I will strongly recommend him for the transportation in Bali as he is very flexible and positive throughout our trip. If we are visiting bali in future, we will definitely come back to this homestay!!

What a lovely stay we had! It truly was like waking up in paradise. Julie was a great host, personal greeting when we arrived and every morning. The vibes of the place was truly positive and beautiful. The room has a nice ambience and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable abd extremely clean. Breakfast every morning was a nice addition, served with fresh fruit. Also nicely located so it was easy to get to the Yoga Barn and other nice restaurants and spas. We didn't want to leave and would like to come back and stay at Julie's. Everyone was extremely hospitable, we really want to thank for such a nice experience in Ubud.

Rumah Jepun is quite central in Ubud town . Although the location is smack on Jalan Monkey Forest , the actual house is far enough from the street , away from the hussle bussle of tourists and traffic. The rooms are clean and the staffs are very helpful. Julie is also attentive of the guests needs. For the reasonable price of the room and the location , this place is highly recommendable.

Our stay here was wonderful! It's the perfect little garden oasis in Ubud. The staff is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful - plus the breakfast is amazing. Julie, the host, is very helpful. She gave great tips on what to do and is very good at giving you directions around Ubud and calling drivers, tours, etc for you.

We staid at Julie for a few days, and we loved being in a quiet house isolated from lively Ubud streets, and surrounded by a beautiful garden ... Julie was very helpful, she gave us many good tips, insight about Bali and the Balinese culture, and organized a tour and show for us. Very nice place to stay!

The wow factor about this villa is definitely the ocean views from the pool, restaurant, bar, lounge area. Absolutely breathtaking and it's worth staying here just for that! Watching the sunset from there was incredible and the option to have massages outdoor with this view was also amazing. Our hosts, Wayana and her husband, were both very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. This is just a great place to stay if you want a tranquil, beautiful, peaceful environment in Bali. The staff were fantastic and attentive. The rooms were decent and had a nice private lawn area to relax and chill out. Getting around was most convenient via hiring a scooter and travelling around to explore. Would definitely recommend this place for others to stay and I'd definitely come back.

As i walked into the property, was deeply mesmerized by the view it had to offer. The presence of host herself at the time of check in added to the warmth of the hospitality on offer. The staff was very warm and friendly and helped navigate us throughout the duration of stay. The spa was simply enchanting with the view and serenity it had to offer along with the services for complete nirvana and relaxation. I would like to make a suggestion of adding refrigerators and coffee/ tea makers in all the rooms to add up to the convenience of the guests even though the staff was courteous to serve whenever asked for it.

It was amazing! Everything was as expected! Room was wonderful and staff very helpful! The view on the ocean was also breathtaking! A must go!

Our stay in this place for 3D2N was great. The 2 infinity pools view were amazing especially during sunset!! Though I only have some issues with the toilets odor but aside to that, everything is lovely. Staffs are attentive and friendly and the place is clean.

Directions to the place were very very clear which really helped as we arrived late in the evening and even then were assisted by security to find our room and make sure we were all sorted. In the morning we awoke to realise just how amazing the location is. The cosy restaurant and bar served up delicious meals/drinks throughout the day and the spa has great masseuses. We really enjoyed our time there and will be back again for sure. Thanks Wayana and staff!!

Although the resort is not completly ready yet it is beautifull. Nice infinity pool and friendly staff. Unfortunately the pictures on airbnb are not quite what you get, they show a small lodge with a private mini pool but you get a room at the resort with acces to the places shown on the pictures. The airco in the room was to low for the second storrie to work so it was really hot upstairs and really cold downstairs. Would not recommand this place to anyone, only for the pool and view.

We resided at the listed villa for a duration of 5 days, to which we have completely enjoyed. Wayana, our host, along with her family has been most warm throughout and even prior to our stay. It is quaint and tranquil, and we couldn't have been more pleased to have decided on our accommodation.

I didn't get the pleasure of meeting Alexandra, however she was delightful to deal with, extremely helpful and great at communication. We loved staying at her villa and would 100% recommend it to all.

Villa Alba was a great place to stay in Canggu. It was in a perfect location near all the best eateries and the beach. The pool was beautiful and as we are dog people, we had no problem with the dogs getting friendly. Highly recommended to other dog-lovers!

I thoroughly enjoyed my short 1 night stay at Villa Alba! Everything was as described and Della was very approachable, friendly, and always willing to help out wherever possible. The room and bathroom were amazing, and the bed was super comfortable!

We totally love the place! Might be one of the most beautiful villa i've stayed in Bali, and I have stayed in quite a lot! I personally thinks the villa looks even better than what it seems on the photos. The bathroom is magnificent, and so is the pool, and not to mention: the kitchen! The kitchen equipments are exquisite, literally there's everything you need. Thanks for the great accommodation and experience :D

That place is A - MA - ZING! Once you're there, you never wanna go anywhere else. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately we did not have the pleasure of meeting Alexandra (although she communicated very well upfront), but the 'villa manager' Della was absolutely lovely and a great extra value to our stay. She is just the nicest girl who helped us out with whatever we asked her (surfing lessons, motorbike rental, boat transfer to Gili,...) and ensuring we had the best possible stay while giving us enough privacy. The villa is clean, it gets cleaned on a daily basis by the very friendly cleaning lady. (there are some bugs in the room but that's normal since it's an outdoor bathroom ). The villa is beautiful, nice room and common kitchen and lounge area. So if you are looking for a place where you feel at home and they taks excellent care of you: this is the place to be!

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Chantique. We found hanging on the patio to be one of our most relaxing times in Bali. The location could not be better as you are within walking distance of the main restaurants and bars on Lembongan. We would highly recommend.

Karla was a fantastic host. It was our first time using Airbnb so I wasn't quite sure if it was going to work but it did perfectly. The actual villa is 10/10 and no it's not the same as the pictures because it is even BETTER in real life. Could not recommend this villa enough :)

Perfect location, Perfect Villa!! Villa Chantique is located in a premium location very close to some of the better restaurants and cafes on the island, also very close to pick up points for other island attractions. The villa is as described, well maintained and yes the view is amazing!!

Truly lovely villa on lembongan! Views are killer, decor is stunning, and great staff. Just be prepared to walk up quite a few steps to reach that view... it's worth it!

Amazing villa, the photos don't do the view justice. There is food just down the steps. I would highly recommend booking if you get a chance to visit the island. Karla also helped with logistics and made the transfer really easy. I can't wait to go back for a month!!

Just stunning views, A very romantic and private setting with beautiful decor. Close to some fantastic restaurant's and a fridge stocked with cold mini bar items....life could not get any better!!!

Absolutely worth every cent.. first off the villa is super close to where the ferry drops you off and we were greeted by someone who took our bags up to the villa for us from the beach. The villa was spotless, aircon worked very well and not to mention the view was so beautiful. The bathroom was huge, the fridge was stoked with a minibar and drinking water was available. Agus was so helpful he evmen re booked our ferry home when we had trouble getting hold of them. We didn't want to leave... will be back for sure!

I had a fabulous stay with Julie on Christmas day in 2013. Despite booking at the last minute, Julie not only welcomed me to Rumah Jepun but also invited me to join her neighbors for a Christmas party upon my arrival! Julie was also full of information about the best places to eat, drink, and relax in and around Ubud. The room was clean and spacious, with a terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. The location was ideal: right on Monkey Forest road close to numerous shops and restaurants, but set back enough from the street to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast, tea, and coffee were included and served on my terrace. Overall I had a fabulous stay with Julie and would highly recommend her to anyone traveling to Ubud!

Great place tucked away. A little oasis in the gardens! Breakfast was so yum!! Still very close to main road e.g 1 min walk up pathway :) would stay here again! Booked 1 night wanted to extend but already booked!! Slight damp smell but Dear I mention, would definitely stay again!

Julie's home is very beautiful and peaceful. My only regret is I only stayed here one night. It is very conveniently located on Monkey Forest Road. The room is clean and bright and the pictures are a very accurate view of what the room and home are like. Julie was very friendly and helped me plan the rest of my stay in Ubud. As a solo female traveler I was a little nervous upon my arrival in Ubud not knowing what to expect or how to navigate but as soon as I arrived at Julie's place, my fears were erased. She arranged a driver to pick me up (with my name on a sign) at arrivals and they delivered me right to her door. I was greeted with a bright smile and the comfort of knowing she had my back. Julie lives in the heart of Ubud tucked away in a quiet Oasis of kindness and beauty. She has an excellent guide book prepared and is happy to direct you in planning your outings. Her staff are polite and helpful and make great breakfast which I enjoyed looking over the gardens listening to the birds each morning. I stayed 3 days and by the time I left I felt I had made a lasting friendship with her. You would be silly to stay anywhere else! Julie is a natural host, who really cares about your experience in Bali.

Rumah Jepun provides a beautiful and serene respite in the middle of Ubud~~a tropical getaway, with all manner of amenities and friendly staff, yet steps from Monkey Forest Road and all that Ubud has on offer! Owner / Host Julie herself is a true delight, going well out of her way to ensure her guests' comfort and enjoyment of Bali. Can't say enough ~ Eager to return ~ Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

We had a really good time at Julie's place. Julie is very nice, she knows the city and the culture very well and has a lot of good recommendations of places to visit, things to do, restaurants to go... She organized for us a whole day trip around the city. We juts regret one thing : we have not followed her recommendation to go and see a traditional dance exhibition. The place is nice, clean, well located, with a beautiful garden. Very peaceful and in the city center at the same time!
