The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. The property is a 1 hour 45-minute drive from Shannon Airport and Dublin Airport, 15 minutes from Slievenamon mountain hike and 30 minutes away from the Rock of Cashel.

The Swallow's Nest is a tiny barn which sits between Slievenamon & the Comeragh mountains, in the glorious valley known as The Honeylands but is only a ten minute drive from Clonmel, Tipperary's County town.

Its only a 20 minute drive to Limerick City and close to Clare Glens and Glenstal Abbey. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

It is also less than 10mins to the towns of Cahir and Tipperary and under 15mins to the historic town of Cashel. It is also less than 5 mins drive to the famous wedding venue, Kilshane House.
