  • This is a spacious home, lovely feeling about the place. The two bathrooms was an added benefit with seven of us staying here. The parking could be a problem but there is a parking space at the back of the house which was useful especially as we had two cars.

  • Jasmine cottage is situated in a quiet but central area of a lovely Devon village. We found the cottage in a converted barn warm and welcoming on arrival. Very well designed layout with an open plan living dining kitchen area and 2 ensuite bedrooms arranged on each side. The cottage was spotless, beds comfortable and linens and towels high quality. Lovely walks around the village and Church inn does an amazing Sunday roast. Really recommend its location.

  • The cottage was a great place for relaxing at February half term and exploring Paignton and Brixham. Just enough for us 2 adults and 11 year old and 2 bathrooms was a luxury. Shower was great and whole house was warm and comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and we had breakfast at home. 2 pubs within walking distance. Good choice of board games our son enjoyed. Internet connection was good. I’m sure in the summer with more crowd the narrow roads could be a problem. Also parking is tight so smaller car would be better. Would recommend Rockfish in Brixham for seafood. All in all it was a great experience

  • Woodend provided us with an excellent venue in a beautiful location for our large family get together (3 generations, consisting of 8 adults and 7 children). The generously proportioned rooms gave plenty of space to spread out indoors, and there was an excellent, large, well-equipped kitchen. Despite the weather and time of year (February) the hot tub and pool were enjoyed most mornings by all. We would have no hesitation in returning for another family celebration in this beautiful home.

  • This house is amazing!! Very clean, plenty of space and beautifully presented. Adrian was very approachable and quick to respond to me over the stay. The on site managers Keith and Lisa were great to have on hand as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

  • What a fantastic place for a get together of families, we had 5 families and the big rooms worked well for us. Pool and hot tub were warm so the kids had a great time splashing about! Great communication from Adrain, no problems.

  • Woodend is the perfect place for a big group gathering of family or friends. The house is very well laid out with large living/reception areas downstairs, a lovely large kitchen that is very well equipped for cooking for groups, and upstairs you have large bedrooms (almost all ensuite). The whole house is tastefully decorated with some lovely personal touches as well. And then outside is the pool and hot tub with spectacular views over the sea. Very close by, Meadfoot Beach is a lovely spot for a stroll, and then within a 5-10 minute drive there are many more beautiful spots and more places to visit than one would ever have time for! I'm already thinking about what excuse I can find to organise another gathering to book Woodend again.

  • This place is absolutely perfect for a group of 10+. The house itself is very impressive with exceptional views. The amenities are top class with a very impressive kitchen which makes cooking for a large group straightforward. Communication with Adrian was as good as it could be. We booked over a year in advance for a milestone birthday, and he would respond to every message within the hour. Check in was quick and simple. One review mentions problems with neighbors and excessive noise. There are some notices requesting sensible noise levels and not to play music around the pool. We followed these rules and had no problems at all and it did not inpeed on our enjoyment. Adrian went to great lengths to make our stay enjoyable and is an excellent host. Highly recommend staying her. We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and may we'll make this an annual trip. Thank you Adrian and your team.

The Bolthole - Compact & cosy detached studio with garden. Located in the heart of Kingswear just 100 metres from the River Dart, the river can be seen from the garden terrace. No hills to climb, just 5 mins walk to the passenger & car ferries for the short trip over to Dartmouth & 2 mins walk to the village shop, a lovely cafe & the Steam Packet pub. Perfect for the coastal path. Street parking is free, 5 mins walk from the property & paid parking is in the marina opposite the property.
The Bolthole is a detached 1 bed studio property nestled in the valley in the heart of Kingswear just above the River Dart and Waterhead Creek. The 2 pubs, cafe and shop are all just a couple of minutes walk away. Newly developed using carefully selected reclaimed materials mixed with all the modern comforts to complement. Located on the slope above our main house there is a lovely little garden with its own deck where the River Dart, the hills in the distance and Waterhead Creek can be seen. You can retreat from the hustle and bustle of Dartmouth in the private garden and enjoy the evening sun. The idea and inspiration was to create a hidden space to escape to and the perfect base to explore South Devon & Cornwall. The property is a very cosy and compact studio. It's one room living with ensuite bathroom and has a coastal feel by way of white washed T&G timber and a hardwood waxed wooden floor reclaimed from marina boards having been weathered for 20 years. The King-size bed has a memory foam mattress and white Egyptian cotton bed linen, we also provide white bath and hand towels. We also provide tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper, handwash, toilet roll and washing up liquid. There is an area to cook in a well equipped kitchenette and a vintage dining table & chairs. Natural light floods in and the garden has the afternoon and evening sun accessed via double doors that open to the oak steps up to the deck.
A lovely location and the river is 100m away and a short walk to the coastal path. A great local shop, lovely cafe, superb pub, passenger ferry, car ferries, castles, steam trains, steam river boats, walks, vineyards and much more. Not forgetting friendly people!

  • A fresh modern apartment with the most stunning views of Torre Abbey Sands and beyond...! We enjoyed a daily stroll down the cliff walk from the apartment to the Marina where there are some lovely restaraunts. Our favourites were the Pier Point and Rockfish as the food was amazing and they were excellent with children. The apartment was really clean and had some lovely finishing touches including some very snuggley throws to wrap round you while watching the boats come and go from the Marina and the sun set from the balcony. We used the sofa bed for our little ones which was very comfortable. The master bedroom has the most spectacular view to wake up to and the bed was also verycomfortable. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipt for a stay away. Steve was a great host and responded quickly - as did the house manager while we were there.

  • This is a beautiful house in an amazing location. We used is as a family but it would be equally lovely for a couple or two couples. The hospitality was great, so easy to deal with. Really easy to get into town and also out to Berry head. The curious kitchen cafe was lovely, as was exploring the little streets of Brixham. We enjoyed watching all the boats from the many windows and seeing the lovely sunrise and sunset. Thank you

  • This is a beautifully appointed home. Wonderful to wake up in and relax in the evenings in front of a log fire. Would definitely come again.

  • Front Row Cottage is a little seaside haven. The views across the harbour are stunning, and the cottage itself is a cosy, warm and comfortable retreat from day to day life. Super comfy beds, and beautiful interiors. You'll find yourself whimsically wondering whether you want to permanently move to the seaside. Brixham itself is small, but charming, and the location of the cottage is absolutely amazing - literally on the harbour, and less than 5 mins from all of the local amenities. A great little find.

  • Lovely house with amazing views over the harbour from every room, nice and clean when we arrived and was really simple to check in. Host was quick to reply and free parking was only a short walk away, which was a bonus. Great little break away, would definitely look at booking again.

  • Front Row Cottage is perfectly located for a trip to Brixham and the surrounding areas. It was delight to watch the boats coming in and out of the harbour from every room of the beautifully decorated cottage. The wood burner was an added bonus as was the car parking a short walk away. We didn’t hear any noise from the pub renovations next door. Steven and the team were very responsive and helpful with queries and suggestions.

  • Lovely apartment walking distance to the harbour and beach. It had everything we needed when we arrived even welcoming tea and biscuits. We found particularly useful the washing machine and DVD player. Only thing I would say is the mews sits on a very steep hill so if you don’t drive just be aware of this as it’s quite a challenge especially with a buggy! Good exercise though ;)

  • We stayed in this apartment for a week and it was great experience. You have lovely views overlooking the Marina and across the harbour. The apartment itself is fabulous! Very well equipped, very clean and with a cold bottle of wine waiting in the fridge. The bed is very comfy and all the linens are excellent quality. Everything you could possibly need is provided. The parking can sound a bit daunting when you read the blurb about the apartment but is actually incredibly easy and very convenient. We loved the location, we were able to just cross the road, a quick stroll into the marina and then a lovely walk around the harbour into town. Conveniently, there is a great pub along the walk as well which is well worth stopping in. Brixham itself is a really lovely place to stay with plenty of shops and places to eat but still has all the charm of a fishing village. Our hosts, Emma and John are lovely people and provided us with helpful tips for eating places as well as places to visit. We would absolutely recommend this apartment as a place to stay.

There is a key safe for 24 hour access. * Wheelchair accessibility - the ground floor of High Seas will eventually be fully wheelchair accessible. However, at the moment the planned exterior chair lift from the road to the front door has not yet been installed, so the wheelchair and the disabled person will need to be carried down the 10 steps to the entrance door. The ground floor has wide open spaces and a fully accessible wetroom with w/c and shower with bench. One of the sofas in the lounge converts to a luxury sofa bed.
High Seas is situated in an elevated position at the top of North View Road. It's a 5 minute downhill walk to the harbour area with its great choice of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The property also comes with a dedicated parking space on the harbourside below.
  • This is a superb stylish place that is just as stunning as it looks in the pictures. The view is amazing, the facilities including the kitchen, the beds and the bathrooms are top notch and I would definitely stay there again if I revisit Brixham. The only drawback of having that view is that whenever you go out there is always a steep and long climb back up. There are also quite a few steps down to the front door so not a place for anyone who is unsteady on their feet. All in all a brilliant holiday home though.

  • You will not be disappointed, the space is amazing along with the view which I already miss. The underfloor heating made the place cozy and warm, loved it and would recommend to anyone.

  • Great place with really amazing views. Our family of 4 had a very enjoyable stay in early January, the apartment was super clean and very comfortable. Great location with a short walk to the town centre and harbour. We had some great walks and were lucky enough to see seals in the harbour and dolphins from Berry Head.

  • The apartment had what was probably the best view of anywhere we have ever stayed, taking in the full sweep of Torbay from its lofty vantage point. It was very stylishly finished, and well equipped. We were delighted by the comfortable and welcoming living area and the comfortable beds. We have no hesitation in recommending it, and hope to return in the summer when we would enjoy sitting out on the balcony in the sun.

A break at Lighthouse View is all about embracing coastal life and spending quality time with family in a relaxing setting. The second you arrive you’ll be taken aback by the views out to sea towards Brixham marina and around the bay towards Torquay. The open plan living space is flooded with light from the large window to make a peaceful retreat to relax and unwind, and the original wooden flooring adds to the charm. Don’t forget your binoculars, as the comfy window seat provides the perfect vantage point to watch the local fishermen heading out on their next adventure. Budding cooks can rustle up a feast in the inviting kitchen or you can head out to your private garden and fire up the barbecue on a warm summer’s night. And on cooler evenings, you can curl up in front of the flickering wood burner with the clan for a movie night with some of the best fish and chips around. When it’s time to explore, a short ten minute stroll along the coast will bring you to Brixham’s pretty harbour. There’s so much to see from the boutique shops and art galleries to the Golden Hind replica, perfect for the little ones to discover their inner pirate. • What a wonderful house with an amazing view on the bay. The location is perfect. Although the weather was not great, we still managed to spend a wonderful time thanks to the homy feeling of the house. We felt at home from the moment we stepped inside.

The place was even better than described, it was immaculately clean, we loved the welcome card and all the little treats that were left for us (coffee, milk, biscuits and even some bubbly). We could have not asked for a better weekend getaway if we tried. Susan was so quick with her responses as well! Thank you for this lovely experience and we will no doubt be back to stay at your Static again. David and kids

  • Beautiful cottage, tucked away in a quiet area. So much within walking distance, bus routes easy to follow. The cottage itself is beautiful and homely with lovely furnishings and amenities. Veronica is a lovely lady who couldnt do enough for us.

    Margharita2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous stay here. Veronica was really quick to communicate and passed on lots of useful information to make sure our stay got off to a great start. On arrival the cottage was sparkling clean and really well done inside. It is fresh and tidy with excellent decoration throughout. Lots of little touches like the local artwork and the little stuffed animals in the single bedroom made it very homely. Lots of wood for the log burner too and comfortable beds! The location is excellent. On the edge of Brixham's main town it is tucked away down a lane so you would never know you were in the town centre. Open the door and it's only a 10 minute walk at most down to the harbour, with lots to explore including access to coast paths, the harbour itself, sea wall and much more. Lots of cafes, fish & chips, pubs etc. all within easy reach. Easy car parking too, again tucked away next to the house. We will definitely look this place up again if we're in the area and would certainly return for another weekend getaway!

    Chris2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place all round we stayed during a very wet February but that hardly bothered us in this cosy warm cottage. The log burner was a god send the whole family loved snuggling up and playing board games. We loved how open plan the layout downstairs is keeping us all close together the perfect family holiday. The local area is lovely our dog LOVED berry head as did my two young boys, the harbour and breakwater were also a big hit. It is also a very good base to explore the greater torbay area with paignton soon 10 minutes away and torquay another 10. Veronica was an amazing host she was there to great us with a warm cup of tea and a few chocolate treats and was always on hand with some good tips about the area we couldn't of felt more welcomed. Highly recommend we will definitely be returning hopefully with better weather next time!

  • We had a fabulous three night stay in the studio and we absolutely loved the place. Its location was brilliant for exploring Dartmouth and the surrounding area and the parking space was a bonus. We loved the decor and we had everything we needed and more for an extremely comfortable stay Would definitely book here again if we find ourselves back in the area and highly recommend this accommodation.

  • Annie’s place was perfect! Absolutely beautifully designed and had everything I needed - and a little bit more. Although I didn’t meet my hosts they were easy to reach if I needed anything. It was a 15 min walk to BRNC which suited me perfectly. If you are in Dartmouth, staying at Annie’s place is an essential! I hope to be back very soon.
