This place is amazing! 12 of us went for a long weekend away. The house is gorgeous and the swimming pool was great fun. We got taxis into Henley to do a tour of the excellent pubs. Would recommend highly.

What a fantastic location and place to stay! Sarah's Barn is spacious but cosy and with our dog the garden and walks nearby were just fantastic - we also enjoyed the tennis/swimming pool. Some lovely pubs nearby and of course Henley within easy reach. For a family get together I could not recommend it more highly - Thanks Sarah!

Sarah’s house made a wonderful and relaxing city escape. It rained a lot but we were cozy inside and the kids kept busy in the pool.

Sarah was such a great host making sure absolutely everything was covered before we arrived, pin pointing the property from both directions, which was so helpful! The view from the house was stunning, not to mention the property itself. We cannot fault this house. Definitely recommend to friend groups, families, literally anyone. There is something in the local area for everyone. We also rate Hobbs of Henley for boat hire!

Well, what can we say apart from a big thank u to Sarah and her family for such a wonderful stay! This really is a secretly stunning part of the English countryside! The barn was just what we were looking for, giving us everything we needed. Communication with Sarah was quick and easy and I hope to be coming back to this property again. Highly recommended!

We had the perfect weekend getaway at Mary's cabin. Place is comfortable, in secluded location with stunning view of the countryside. Ben is a precise an helpful host with in depth knowledge of the local area. He not only suggested walks in the beautiful surroundings, but he provided us with bespoke map and gave us a lift to the starting point of a scenic path. A lovely little adventure!

Such a gem of a find. Small but fabulous, even with two dogs. Very hospitable hosts, beautiful area and surroundings with the wildlife passing through the fields in front of your window. To be able to watch Red Kites from your bed with your morning brew is a great start to your day. If you want to get away from it all......

Excellent space to relax and enjoy the countryside. Woke up to pheasants and the horse in the next field. We survived Storm Ciara and were warm and cosy in the cabin . Ben is an excellent host ; answering any queries, accommodating to our needs and a lovely warm welcome . A walk of the Chiltern countryside goes right past the place ... perfect . Thank you Ben .

Fantastic! We stayed whilst visiting The Mash Inn - which is a few minutes walk away. Ben was very helpful, and the thoughtful touches were much appreciated (coffee/breakfast) - would highly recommend, a beautiful setting.

Spotless apartment in lovely setting, really enjoyed the view and log fire especially! Arriving in rain and dark a little tricky to find but it's worth it! Really quick communication from Katie to any queries. Recommend Bull and Butcher for food just be careful about availability of taxis and be prepared for price (given they're coming from High Wycombe).

If I could give Katie's place 10 stars, I'd give it 12! The cottage is such a babe! It's spacious, well-looked after, cosy, welcoming and just the perfect place for an escape to the countryside. I highly recommend Katie's cottage to will definitely stay again!

We were actually a little surprised at how big the place was, as we were expecting a slightly more compact area. It is delightfully located with very very quick access from the motorway and yet a plethora of walks around with wonderful options for food as well. Katie was brilliant. Offering help, advice and a personal touch without being too encroaching. Highly recommended!

Katie's beautiful house is surrounded by gardens and scenery that looks straight out of a postcard. So peaceful and comfortable, we enjoyed day trips to many lovely nearby towns and relaxing by the fire in the evening. Can't wait to visit again in the future!

Beautiful Cottage in an amazing, peaceful location. I especially enjoyed the lovely log burning stove in this cold weather along with the delicious fruit juice each morning.

Lovely and spotlessly clean. Felt bigger than it looked in the pics. Hosts lovely. Comfortable and big bed with nice view of garden and little chairs outside. We were not sure if we could drink water from bathroom tap so would suggest take some bottled water. Nice yogurt supplied with breakfast. We had a really nice stay! Thank you.

We had a really lovely stay at the Stables. Jan and John were so welcoming, and were really quick to respond to any queries I had. The house was really clean and cosy (we loved the underfloor heating too!). The location was great, the local pubs served some really good food and the farm shop next door was an added bonus! Jan's place really was incredible. No1 The Stable was the perfect location for a weekend in the countryside. The bed was huge, the underfloor heating was a real treat, and the views were stunning. The living room and kitchen area were cosy and had everything we needed. Plus it was spotless. The weather was terrible while we were there, but it didn't matter - we walked to the brilliant farm shop a few minutes away for supplies and then cosied up indoors. Jan and John were great hosts, who made us feel so welcome with a pack of breakfast supplies and even a Valentines cookie. We loved it and will be back!

A truly beautiful, quaint and rural barn with lovely touches from Jan and John, bright and airy, open plan living, dining and kitchen upstairs with cosy bedroom and well appointed bathroom downstairs (both complete with underfloor heating which was lovely on my feet on cold winter mornings!). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Saj. The little studio flat had everything we needed, but more than that felt extremely comfortable staying there. Saj is also a lovely host, would definitely stay there again!

A nice, warm, clean and spacious studio apartment. The kitchenette is great, and the owner had a TV installed after I'd enquired about it. Saj was lovely to deal with and I had great communication from her throughout. The location is convenient and I'd happily stay again.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at Saj and Andrew's AirBnB. The unit was well furnished and super clean. They were indeed super hosts and caring for all our needs. Extremely attentive and went out of their way by offering to transport us around the High Wycombe/London area. Such a huge bonus for us and made our trip one for memory lane. We will be back.

This is an absolutely lovely little cottage. I stayed for 5 evenings while working at the Lane End Centre which is a 20 minute walk away. A very quiet location, all you'll hear around is birds. This self-contained annexe with its own entrance has everything you need. I loved the decoration and Mandy's top taste. She was also very welcoming and had lots of breakfast options available, fresh fruit and milk. Always responding very promptly and very helpful with local indications. I came across her partner as well who gave me great hiking tips on my day off. Would definitely visit again!

This guest home is now our favorite place we have ever seen! It is like a little hobbit hole! We absolutely loved staying here. The surroundings are beautiful, inside and out. We can’t to come back, and only wish we could build a little home exactly like it in our own garden (or tear down our own home and replace it with this, for heaven’s sake!) Who knew you could have this much comfort and beauty in such a small space?

We had a wonderful stay at Rebecca's home. We were in Lane End for a conference and her home gave us the perfect location to base from. So so thankful we found her home. The bedroom is comfortable, quiet and beautifully suited for a lovely stay in the English countryside. We can't say enough of her and her family's generosity and kindness. They were wonderful hosts and we will definitely return again someday.

Great location for those who are on a course at the Lands End Conference Centre. Easy to find (even in the dark!) and Rebecca was very friendly and flexible when it came to me checking in at 11pm at night! I'd definitely recommend and stay again - much better value for money than the hotel rooms in the conference centre!

Comfy room with good shower. Don’t forget to bring your own soaps and shampoo. Just a short walking distance from the Conference Centre and the village.

Martin & Alison’s place is perfect. Set in the grounds of their lovely garden & in a beautiful part of England. The Barn is a very tranquil, serene place to stay. This is a true gem of a place, a beautiful semi-rural location, elegant and stylish barn with the magic that a good log burner creates. Thoughtfull touches and quick responses add to the overall experience of a break to be cherished.

Martin welcomed us on arrival and showed us round. He was friendly and gave us some tips about the best pubs in the area as well as where some great walking was available. The place was as stunning as the photos. We had a lovely stay!

From the onset Martin was a brilliant host, we had trouble locating the Airbnb initially because of roadworks but he was able to help us out. Very friendly welcome and we felt right at home, he couldn’t do enough for us. In fact, we asked if he could help us start the log fire and he was happy to help. The space itself is unbelievable, exceptionally clean and the decor is beautiful, even to the tiny details such as heated towel racks!! The location is perfect, close to lots of quaint little villages and walks, there was plenty of information provided in leaflets left in the Airbnb. Bread, butter and milk were provided which was a lovely touch, and even inspired us to head to the farm shop to purchase goodies to take home Would highly recommend staying here, we’re hoping to visit again in the summer!

The location of the cottage is just wonderful for walkers and restaurant lovers! Amongst the horses fields the little AirBnb is really very sweet and very stylishly decorated, just big enough for a couple and dog. We really enjoyed our stay and especially loved our walk and pub lunch with our little French Bulldog Eva! Just a little note that the AirBnb is right next to Jenna’s house as it’s a (beautifully) converted garage so it’s not entirely private but otherwise very nice! x x x

This is a lovely apartment with friendly hosts. It's the perfect size for a couple, looks out onto the garden,and we really enjoyed the eggs for breakfast! It's also a great location, we walked to a nearby pub in the evening after spending the day in Henley-on-Thames. The stay was great value and we would highly recommend it.

James' lovely cottage in the English countryside was a dream. Such a sweet spot to take in beautiful scenery, walking through rolling fields with sheep to the local pub, or along the river, which is very close, was just amazing. The community is so charming, everyone is so friendly. Henly is an easy 10 minutes bus from the cottage with shopping and markets as well as easy connections to London, about an hour and a half from the front door of the cottage to Paddington Station. The cottage was comfortable and well appointed, the only downside being a little trouble with wifi and cell service because the area is a tad remote. It worked for us but would be difficult if you need a fast reliable connection. James and his family went out of their way to welcome us and made our stay as perfect as we could hope for, they are wonderful hosts!

Fantastic little self contained flat in James’ garden, with all you could need for your stay. James left us a selection of breakfast supplies, which was awesome - and he gave us a top-tip for a local pub called the Flower Pot, a short walk across the Thames from the flat. A really enjoyable stay.

Perfect place for a short stay - small but perfectly formed! It was comfortable and cosy and had all the necessary kitchen bits and bobs - and it was great to be able to choose our breakfast supplies. Lots of great walks close-by and two good dog-friendly pubs in walking distance. Morag and James were really thoughtful hosts. they made us feel very welcome - and communication with them was really fast and easy. Highly recommended.

Moyra's place is in a beautiful setting in the Chiltern's countryside. The house is warm, clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay. We loved the breakfast, watched some DVDs and had great fun playing the board games. The living space is a good size for 4 people and the kitchen and it's table make a great area - it is fully equipped to make any meal you would like to. The kids had great fun collecting eggs and exploring the fields. The local pub was good too!

The most idyllic weekend away from the hustle and bustle of London. Moyra was most welcoming, adding small touches to our stay. We were welcomed with fresh flowers, fruit juices, fresh bread, homemade jam and even the bathrooms were stocked with makeup remover pads - an essential for any girly weekend away! Moyra even offered to accept our online food shop before we had arrived which meant a stress free dinner on Friday evening. Due to the bad weather, we were also offered to stay a little longer than we had planned to. The local area also did not disappoint. We would highly recommend The Crown pub in the local village which served fantastic food with a cosy atmosphere. We will definitely be returning for our next group getaway! Holly and the girls

Moyra is honestly one of the most caring air bnb hosts that I have met. She went above and beyond throughout the stay, especially with the extra touches like the home made bread and granola. The air bnb itself was fully equipped and had a homely feel which made us feel at peace from the hustle and bustle of London life. Me and my friends would definitely recommend Moyra’s air bnb and will for sure be back for another visit.

She has gone above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, adding thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable.

We booked Moyra’s accommodation so that we could have a family Christmas all together, and there couldn’t have been a more perfect place to stay. Not only is the accommodation beautiful, but the little touches that have been added - fresh bread, homemade jam and cake, were simply wonderful. As hosts we found them to be amazingly attentive. Beautiful walks and country pubs for all weathers! If we could rate this 10 out of 5 stars then we would!

Great place to stay just outside of Marlow. Lovely and quiet location and well decorated and set out barn conversion. Lovely touches with eggs and bread and even smoked salmon which was a lovely touch and my husband thoroughly enjoyed! Would highly recommend if you want a nice quiet stay but near to Marlow (we walked in through the countryside for a few miles) - beautiful area all around. The barn itself was very clean and evenings on the patio outside were just lovely, thank you for a lovey stay!

We had a lovely weekend at Jay's. The barn is very well set-up, with everything you could need for a stay away. The decoration is high-end as well as being really cosy. The check-in instructions were very easy to follow, and Jay's communication was excellent throughout. I would highly recommend staying here for a quiet and comfy break from city life!

Jay's barn is a very nice place to stay if you like being in the countryside. The place is very peaceful and quiet. Also lots of animals to see, for instance red kites and we even saw some dear while we where doing the dishes. During our visit we also went to London, Oxford and Windsor castle. You will need to have a car for this, but if you have one this is a prefect location to stay. The place is also furnished nicely and everything you can think of is available. Most of the days we prepared our food in the kitchen where we had more then enough stuff to prepare whatever we liked. When we visit England another time we will definitely like to stay here again.

We had a lovely weekend at Jay's barn which is a beautiful little retreat about 3 miles from Marlow. It's set in the countryside and is wonderfully peaceful , with just the sound of birds singing. Jay was very friendly and always responded quickly. The barn is cosy, comfortable, spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Jay provided lots of little extras like fresh eggs, bread, milk, tea, coffee, orange juice, etc, etc. which were really appreciated.

Great self contained room plus the facilities of a small lounge bar and full english breakfast in the adjoining Buckingham hotel. Seemingly owned by same person, so best of both worlds. I extended my stay it was so nice and at a price i could afford. Id definitely recommend.

Excellent! Clean and exactly what you want! Extras like tea/coffee facilities with a fridge too... shower gels and towel provided. Just brilliant value for money in a great location

Sarah's place was unusual in a nice way. Sarah and martin live in the flat and share most of their lovely flat with guests. The little bedroom is snug and private, the bed is very comfy and everything is spotlessly clean. Their hospitality is relaxed and friendly. A very special place.

This is a true gem. Place itself is one of a kind, hand crafted magical cityscape paradise. Hosts are lovely, welcoming couple that put hearth and soul in making sure that we have the best time and everything you could possibly need. Accommodation is well equipped, decorated with taste and full of heart warming views. Area is well separated from civilisation and offers gorgeous overview of the valley stretching to the horizon. Very recommended.

Jan’s place is absolutely amazing. It’s such great value as the quality of finish in the barn is fantastic, the bed is extremely comfortable and the place has such a relaxing and welcoming vibe. The scenery is stunning and set in an ideal location for lots of beautiful country walks. Thank you for an amazing stay and we will definitely be back.

This place is a gem. Jan and John were so welcoming and made everything so easy for us, from arrival to leaving. The space was spotless, the hikes were beautiful and they even left some food for breakfast. We definitely want to come back!!

We had a lovely stay at Jan's place! Very happy to recommend. The accommodation had everything we needed for a short break and was ideal for us in having the farm shop literally round the corner, a pub a short walk away and lovely walks straight from the property. Jan provided all the bits we needed for breakfast which was lovely. And they very kindly contacted us on Saturday evening to offer a later check out should we so desire which was very much appreciated. Have a lovely time!!

Spent a lovely week at Jan’s cottage just outside Lane End. Perfectly located to be “away from it all” but also within an easy commute to London. As others have noted, the photos don’t do it justice - John and Jan have created a peaceful, charming spot that still very much feels like a working farm. Very much enjoyed following up on their tips for walks in the hills and the country pubs they inevitably led to. The cottage itself (no. 2) was clean and cozy, with an updated bathroom, comfortable king bed, and kitchen with all needs considered. Highly recommended.

A lovely spot in the Chilterns, John’s place is beautifully furnished, spacious and well equipped. Communication was excellent and check-in very straightforward. The area is peaceful and we were very well located for exploring this beautiful part of the countryside. A car is advisable for access, but we were given very clear directions so there was no problem finding the place. Highly recommend.

This is a stunning house, in the perfect location. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable beds. The kitchen and living area are also both big whilst remaining cosy.

What a fantastic property. We are so pleased we chose it. Really spacious, well finished and kitted out. Robyn was very welcoming and there was all the food and drink we needed for breakfast too. Would highly recommend.

Robyn, what a fantastic host. I had the most amazing stay. The bed is so comfy, I did not want to leave in the morning! The annex is very stylish, and by far the cleanest Airbnb I have seen. The breakfast touch was extremely generous and the annex has absolutely everything you can think of. Hairdryer. Straighteners .. all the way down to USB plug sockets which is a massive help when you forgot your main plug (me) haha. Would definitely be back when my partner and I are visiting the area again!

The accommodation is fantastic with everything you could possibly need or want. Milk in the fridge and Christmas decorations was a lovely touch. We loved it.

Good price-quality stay. Warm house, with shared kitchen and spacious backyard (although a bit abandoned). The room is nice, with good tv. The shared toilet is clean. Slightly far from the town center, but ok with a car as there is free parking outside the house. Would stay again!

Great interior. Nice quiet street and solid amenities. Steep stairs if you have a heavy suitcase but regardless a lovely place to stay while visiting friends in the area!

A great stay. The room is stylish, clean and comfortable. The amenities provided were great too. The host is very responsive and helpful. What could be improved upon is the bed. It was uncomfortable to sleep in as I could feel the springs underneath me. However, I folded the blanket that was provided in half and slept well. All in all very good.

I really enjoyed my stay at Dan's place. The apartment was very clean and up-to-date, and in a perfect location near all the shops and restaurants. I especially liked having The Front Room coffee shop right in the building. Lauren and Carlin at the Front Room made checking in super easy and welcoming, and they gave me some good tips about the area. The coffee shop was also a nice place to start my day each morning. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Dan, Lauren and Carlin!

A very nice and confortable place overlooking the city. Close to the train station, bus terminal, movie theatre, shopping mall and restaurants. Ideally located with a very friendly café at the bottom of the building.

Clean and easy place to stay... Only thing would be a real bed rather than sofa bed, but perfectly good enough!

If you are ever in High Wycombe, this place is conveniently placed to get around town. It is stone throw away from Eden and the train station. The host is great and quick to respond, there is a cafe downstairs which you can go to in case there are any issues. I stayed for almost 3 months and I could not have imagined staying anywhere else.

Very nice, clean and modern apartment with a great view over the city. It is small but very functional and everything is working 100%. You can enter the building either though a central hall or through the cafe. The car parking at the back is easy. Can get hot in the apartment in summer. Form High Wycombe the can easily reach Oxford, Cambridge and London.

We had an amazing stay at Dan’s apartment - It was very clean and tidy and a few steps away from the town centre shops. We were unsure how to check in, but recognised a cafe from a photo next to where the satnav said the location was - We went into “The Front Room Coffee Lounge” where the staff checked us in and gave us the key for the apartment. We would definitely stay again if we re-visit the area and check-in is easy once you know how.

This is a lovely apartment - very spacious, clean and modern. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are top notch, and overall it was a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was really fast at replying and check in was a breeze.

Comfortable, well equipped home minutes from the centre of High Wycombe. En-suite bathrooms and comfortable kitchen/living room make this a lovely home from home.

We really enjoyed Jackie's house, and the treatment received. It is very close to the center of High Wycombe on foot, but far enough away to be very quiet and quiet. It is very close to the train station, so the connection with London is easy and fast. In half an hour you reach Marylebone. The kitchen attached to the dining room and living room facilitates living together. We were seven and we have been phenomenal. As we have gone in winter we have not been able to enjoy the back garden, but we imagine what it should be to be able to use it in good weather. We have enjoyed the house very much. Absolutely recommended.

Some hotel penthouses do not come like this. It was excellence throughout, 3 Double bedrooms all on-suite. The kitchen reception room open plan Clean and fully fitted throughout. My partner had just sold her house and we opted to stay somewhere through the transition to her new one, let me tell you I scored major brownie points thanks to Jackie's offering it was like walking into a new home and we would have been happy to stay there longer, so we did another week.
