Places to stay in Bonners Ferry

Places to stay in Bonners Ferry
We are a quarter of a mile from downtown Bonners Ferry, meaning walking distance to Breakfast, lunch, dinner, casino, beautiful views and friendly people! We are 45 minutes to the village of Schweitzer and a great stopping point before Canada! Super clean and love to share our hand crafted tiny guest home! The Outhouse is located on property. We as hosts are next door in the main house, so if you need anything we are avilable! We happily accommodate late listings and last minute bookings.
We have one Queen Size bed in the Outhouse and a couch. It is not a pull out couch but is comfortable. We also keep a twin size air mattreess in the cabin. It is an old barn that has been converted so small areas of improvement are visible but give it the charm. There is a small microwave and refrigerator available along with coffee maker. Not a full kitchen.
  • Charming little place. Nice and clean, has everything you need. Would stay again!

  • Lovely full stocked cottage for a shorter or longer stay. We were there 14 nights visiting family and it was a welcoming place to come home to each evening.

  • Clean and comfortable space! Would stay here again!

  • Second stay at this air bnb, loved it! Definitely worth the money in bonners. Comfortable, clean and cozy.

  • We loved our stay. It was private, cute and very comfortable.

    Stacey2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was by far one of the best air bnb experiences that I have had. From start to finish, my stay was great. Marcia and her husband Addison were attentive, have built a lovely tiny home and had thoughtful touches throughout. The bed was comfy, the space was clean and the outside was beautiful this time of year. This is the first time I’ve given 5 stars across every category and I’ve been using air bnb for five years. I’m really happy that I found this little gem. Absolutely recommend it ❤️

    Kaitlin2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The Outhouse was great! Cozy, very clean, nicely decorated, welcoming, and just all around enjoyable! We were there for two nights and it felt like a home away from home. The bed is comfortable. We arrived after the sun went down. The outside and inside lights were on and the heat was on upon arrival. Which made it welcoming. If you have a toddler there is enough room for him/her to play around and enjoy themselves while you enjoy coffee or tea provided, rest on the couch, or watch a show. Their dog is very sweet and friendly as well. Great place, welcoming, and Marcia is super quick at communicating. Thanks again!

You will need transportation into the property site. The road to the property is a gravel road that can require a 4-Wheel Drive during the snowy winter season and the mud season (early spring rains).
We are definitely in the country. The home is approximately 2 miles in from the county road. There is a very nice home site adjacent to our site that hosts a private 9 hole golf course in the local hills. In the spring (mud season) and winter (snow season), please be sure and check with us in advance of reserving a room to make sure that the road is passable. .
  • Thanks for the great stay. It was beautiful, quiet, clean and had everything I wanted or needed. The road is a bit bumpy so be prepared, but just drive slow and you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view and nice quiet place to stay.

  • I would highly recommend staying here, Mike is a very friendly and helpful host. The room is larger and quiet, very comfortable bed and restful! Sitting outside on the deck in the evening is a perfect ending to the day (especially with a cup of coffee)!!

  • Grace & Tim & Mike are wonderful with a fantastic little getaway house in Idaho woods. Very cool, and great people.

  • This beautiful home is next to a little lake and about 20 minutes from Sandpoint, ID. It's a little bit out in the woods, which makes it great - it's nice to escape the city. I rode there on a motorcycle, and the only note I'd put out for next travellers is that you've got about 2.5 miles of gravel road to travel into the property. It wasn't bad, just slow going on the bike :)

  • Matt & Jen are great at staying in contact with you but giving you space to explore on your own. We were in town for an off-road competition and needed a place to land each night after being out in the cold and the mud. This was perfect! It fit all of us and gave us not only a space to crash, but one to cook and warm up by the fire. We loved it! Thank you!

  • We stayed in #3. It was small, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The sauna is a nice addition. Jim was very helpful and accommodating!

    Hannah2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy and friendly host. Sauna is great!.

    Dusty2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Very kind, hospital hosts! #3 deck faces back woods and is very peaceful. The only noise to be heard were rambunctious kids next door but thankfully quiet hours were observed. Sauna is amazing and gets really hot. Fire pit set up in woods looked very inviting but we passed on account of rainy weather.

    Heather2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Jim and Sheryl are great! I enjoyed every second there! The place is beautiful and clean! A lot of deers around so cute! Thanks! ❤

    Hodaya2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely quiet time in one of Jim and Sheryl's cabin rooms. The room was very well insulated, the couch very comfy, and the bed amply accompanied by blankets and pillows It was wonderful to wake up to a still early-winter morning and gaze out the window from our bed at the stillness all around. The trappings of civilization were still close enough at hand. It was the best of both worldsQ

    Tresy2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay. The place was clean and quiet. I hope to stay at Jim and Sheryl's place again in the future.

  • This is such an amazing place to stay with beautiful artwork on all the walls and stylish touches throughout. Lori was a fantastic host with quick and friendly communication throughout. My only regret is that my schedule didn’t allow for me to stay longer. I will definitely be coming back.

    John2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and cozy Airbnb with a great price and location! We stayed here while we skied at Schweitzer and Silver Mountain. The Airbnb is less than 10 mins from the access road to Schweitzer and only about a 10 min drive from downtown Sandpoint (I recommend Pend D'Oreille winery - we went to trivia there one night after skiing and it is a great place to eat and relax). Hoot Owl Cafe is a good local breakfast stop near the Airbnb but Lori also provides a toaster, microwave and a french press, which was nice when we wanted a quick, cheap breakfast before skiing. The Airbnb had thoughtful touches, like the flowers and the fireplace, and as other reviewers have said, Lori's beautiful art makes this a really special place to stay. The one day we got back from skiing early and musicians were playing guitar in the studio upstairs. Felt like a great way to unwind after skiing, listening to live music! The studio closes at 6:30 PM so there's no need to worry about the music being disruptive. Lori herself was very responsive and kind. I didn't speak with her personally, but my dad met her and enjoying talking about his art as he is also an oil painter. Thanks again for a great stay!

  • Great place - exactly the small cozy stay I was hoping for.

    Kaitlyn2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The stay was cute and unique, clean and well put together. Would definitely recommend!

    Jordan2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We really loved our stay at Lori's place. I was travelling there with my teenage son, she set up a single bed in an out of the way spot in the main room which worked out great to have my own sleeping space in bedroom. The location was awesome. We were going to Schweitzer, and other than staying on the mountain, this is probably as close as you can be, right near the mountain cut off road. We heard beautiful jam band bluesy, groovy kinda music when we'd arrive in afternoons coming from the music studio next door. It was like a free concert, and happened to be the sort of music I would be playing myself if I had a band and could play that well. They ended at 630 pm promptly in case it wasn't somebody's cup of tea. The space itself was really special. It's an artist studio that doubles as a vacation rental. Lori did all the artwork herself and is very talented. I especially loved the big painting of the ship in the wild sea in the bedroom. The portraits of historical intellectuals and their words of wisdom quotes were cool too. All the art gives this place warmth and depth that some soul-less hotel box of a room could never have, and for a fraction of the price. The electric fireplace was a nice touch and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus for a snowboarding roadtrip. Will be back for sure if ever out that way again.

Comfortable home in the country, queen size bedroom with shared bath. 12 min drive to downtown Sandpoint or base of Schweitzer Mountain Resort. Also within 15 min from Hope Idaho, very scenic drive along the lake. Enjoy a bike ride to Pack River, close to hiking trails or just relax on our large deck. Bring your boat, kayaks etc or snow mobiles and enjoy the lake and mountain. We are next to the equestrian center where you could take horse lessons . Filtered well water great for drinking.
Our place is in the middle between Sandpoint and Hope. Great views to Schweitzer mountain, easy access to town or bottom of Schweitzer mountain, ride the bus up and down at no charge. If heavy snow 4x4 or good snow tires advisable, driveway about 200 yards, can be tricky at times Great hunting spot.
We are surrounded by nice horse properties, our house is on top of a little hill, great views.
  • A great little place in the country. Beautiful view of the woods from my bedroom. Very close to Schweitzer Ski Resort. Rick & Brigitte are warm, friendly people. This is not a five star resort, but a comfortable room in a family room. It’s a child’s bedroom, made cozy for you. Family dog an extra treat, so friendly.

Cozy camping cabin in western rustic style that sleeps up to 6, just minutes from the resort town of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Lake Pend Oreille, on 10 private, wooded acres with views of the Selkirk Mountains, outdoor hot tub and shower, and fire pit.
The location 9 miles from downtown Sandpoint is super private and quiet. The cabin is truly a work of art with blued pine, corrugated rusty metal ceiling, and many rustic touches and special details. The cabin measures 14x14 with a 14x12 covered porch, plus an 80-square-foot loft. This is modeled after camping cabins in state parks but way cooler and with comfortable beds and bedding provided. It is a dry cabin with no running water. It really is camping, or glamping as it's called. A two-burner hot plate, microwave, toaster over, small fridge with freezer, coffee maker and electric tea kettle make it possible to make meals on-site. Some guests even cook over the campfire. Water is on-site with two frost-free hydrants near the cabin. We're talking tasty well water here! There's a rustic hand built outhouse and a beautiful outdoor hot tub under the stars that seats five with a lounge. A unique outdoor shower is the newest addition to the property, along with an outdoor sink (seasonal use). Inside the vintage pine trunk are games, local guidebooks, tourism publications and extra blankets. In the crate under the counter are plastic food wrap and wax paper, matches, hand sanitizer, hand soap, dish soap, a few hand towels and wash cloths, a hot pad, an assortment of condiments, salt and pepper, creamer and sugar. A trivet and basin are hanging on the walls above the counter, and another basin is in the crate below the microwave. Please use the trivet to set hot pots and pans on, and the basins for washing up dishes or taking camp baths. A 2-gallon water container is provided for your use. Please don't leave it on the counter wet as it stains the wood. The property includes a house and an RV site that allows for the possibility of group retreats. The house is a vacation rental from November through April, and we live in it from May through October. You may see other guests on the property and may have to alternate usage of the hot tub, or you may have the whole place to yourselves. Weekends, summers and holidays are busy. The cabin and RV site share the same driveway and are visible but filtered through trees and fence panels. The house is not visible from the cabin and has its own driveway. The RV site is available April through October, and while it may be sporadic, the site stays fairly busy in the summer season. Part of our mission is to give people an affordable way to visit Sandpoint. We have accommodations for horses and dogs too for an extra fee.
The Selle Valley is a very desirable neighborhood north of Sandpoint. The cabin sits in the heart of the valley where the land is zoned agricultural. When people come to my property, they love the rural setting surrounded by hay fields and views of two mountain ranges, the peace and quiet, and the beauty of the woods. No neighbors are within view; the closest neighbors are 800 feet away. The RV site is on the other side of the outdoor shower and faces east in the opposite direction; it shares the same driveway as the cabin. The host's house is about 250 feet away from the cabin and is not within sight. The cabin has its own driveway and faces west looking out to the yard, barn, woods and a large hayfield.
  • Such a beautiful location and just what you need for the perfect little getaway from the city. The hot tub was an especially nice touch!

All new and clean, this comfortable studio "cabin" had a delightful porch area for enjoying the sights and sounds of the farm. We welcome you to our home and know you'll enjoy your stay!
Come in the summer and enjoy fresh fruit and veggies from the garden, come in the winter and bring your snow machines. We have space for horses if you like to trail ride, the Kootenai River is nearby for fishing, as well as many streams and creeks. Kootenai Wildlife Refuge is just south of us, a major migratory bird watching corridor! Ball Creek Ranch, run by the Nature Conservancy is just to the north of us. Walk out your door to enjoy unlimited hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, nature photography opportunities, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, snowshoeing and more! We have corrals for horses. Visit Myrtle Creek Falls or Snow Creek Falls, just about anything outdoors is within 15 minutes! It's only about an hour to Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort., 20 minutes into Bonners Ferry for small town charm and some good eateries. We are open to having an additional guest under the age of 16, please contact us to confirm this.
We are very rural - about 20 minutes out of the small town of Bonners Ferry. We have three neighbors fairly close by, everyone is quiet and respectful.
  • Great great location

  • Mimi’s place is very comfortable, clean and quiet. We slept great after a long day and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast the next morning! I would definitely stay here again.

  • Excellent host. Great cozy shed. The best part of the stay was the COMPLETE quiet. At night the stars were incredible! When I went out at 1AM to shut off the interior light of the car and looked up, immediately I saw a shooting star.

    Tanya2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mimi was personable, attentive and accommodating. Truly enjoyed the stay.

    Vera Lynne2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Tack Room was the perfect place to stay while we were visiting Bonner’s Ferry. The farm fresh breakfast Mimi made for us was amazing! The beautiful sunrise was breathtaking. Hearing the cows come in for their breakfast and dinner was enjoyable to see. I would definitely recommend the Tack Room for your stay.

    Heidi2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Mimi's place was a bit off the beaten path which made it even better. Our choice was a bit random as we were looking for a place for the coming evening and we couldn't have found a better spot. It was beautiful, serene, funky and wholesome. The Tack Room is a unique spot in a gorgeous valley with views, places to walk and yes, excellent food, don't miss the breakfast. Mimi herself was warm and welcoming yet gave us our own space. The Tack Room is private and cosy, one could imagine spending a week. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Northern Idaho, treat yourself and stay at Mimi's Tack Room.

  • The tack room makes the night's rest a part of the adventure. The valley cools off and the night is silent between the sheets crisp with sunshine. The landscape is an introduction to the wide open spaces ahead in Montana. The Saturday farmers market in Bonner's Ferry offered a glimpse of community life and an opportunity to stock the cooler.

    Susan2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Tack Room is a great place to relax and unwind. so quiet and peaceful. Every window offered a different view of the beautiful country. There is a lot of outdoor living in this part of Idaho and the Tack Room makes an awesome base. We would highly recommend it.

One cozy bedroom in the front of the house with a double bed, chair, bureau and desk, next to shared bathroom. Large windows which let in a lot of sunshine and fresh air if you wish. Our Internet and cell connection is great! Your door has its own lock to secure your things when you are out. Best for one person, although in some cases we can accommodate a second. For two visitors please contact us to discuss your needs.
There is a family feel overall to this space, but we are quiet people and once inside your private room it is well contained and very private. No light and noise pollution and nothing but wilderness beyond us for acres, will make your stay peaceful and your sleep restful. We can accommodate a third person ( a pre teen, teenager or young adult), on a cot in your room.
We are in North Sandpoint, Sandpoint proper and Hope ID (in the other direction) are only 12 minutes away. Are property sits above Selle Valley with spectacular views of Schweitzer Mountain and ski resort. We are on 22 acres of secluded, forest and have many amenities to make your stay with us notable in its own right, including a large wrap around porch furnished for a relaxing chat and nature watching, a hot tub, built in outdoor grille, beautiful natural gardens and hiking trails. There are no end to the things to enjoy near us. In the valley just below us there are some interesting places to visit and many activities available. We are close to the Pack River for water sports, swimming, tubing and fishing. Oden’s Bay Beach on Lake Pend Oreille is open to the public, and very lovely. Western Pleasure ranch is close by with opportunities to ride horses and dine. Grouse Creek Falls, offers a beautiful hike to a gorgeous multi falls and a refreshing opportunity to wade and swim. In the winter we are an easy 12 minute drive to the Schweitzer Ski resort base where there is plenty of free parking and a free shuttle to the lifts. The North has its own flavor of retired professors, farmers, survivalists, artists, musicians and home grown mountain folk. The Pack River Store is the hub of our community and is where to go close by for amazing food and local color. This remarkable neighborhood, general store serves up delicious food for large appetites created by a locally raised Cordon Bleu Chef along with basic groceries, beer, wine, snacks and wrigglers for fishing. Hope and Clark Fork are near by for Historic sites, waterfront activities, trails and good eats! Ice House Artesian Pizza is a must with delicious Italian food and an absolutely spectacular view of Lake Pend Orielle. Note: Our road and driveway as well as other access roads in this area are happier with AWD. During the Winter months and early Spring this is a must. In the throes of Winter you may wish to carry chains in your trunk.
  • my favorite airbnb ever ever, i have been traveling alone for a while now and Alison was the most perfect mix of cool artsy friend and maternal energy that I had been needing so much! Her and her husband and son are all such great and kind people, with the best pets too! The mountaintop property is gorgeous and relaxing and just makes you want to slow down and relax. so so wonderful

  • Suzanne was amazing! Unfortunately our travel plans were a bit crazy, but she was really great working with us when our plans changed suddenly. Her space was exactly what we needed! Quiet and out in the country. There was a fenced in back yard that our puppy really loved! The cottage was clean and comfortable. We were so pleased to have been able to stay here! Highly recommend!

    Kristin2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had an incredible weekend, and couldn't have been happier with the location, amenities, and price. Suzanne was great to work with.

    Van2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute, quaint place to come and relax. Both days it rained so we couldn’t enjoy the firepit outside, but it was so relaxing to hear the wildlife at night. Everything was great. I would recommend bringing your own pillows since they did go flat, but the bed was comfortable. Great water pressure! The house was very clean! About 15 mins from town, don’t get the Chinese food at Oriental Garden (it was terrible) Suzanne was super quick to respond, and check in was easy. Will definitely be back :)

    Stewart2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Nestled in the woods with a tranquil space this suite is truly a gem! Everything is as described and Suzanne is a fantastic host. Definitely want to visit again!

    Kendall2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This place was just what I was looking for. Secluded and quiet in the middle of the trees with a fenced yard and a fire pit. Couldn't ask for much more. The vicinity to town was perfect and we were lucky enough to catch the stars one night. I would highly recommend staying here. The place is attached to a larger rental which had another group show up during our stay and we barely noticed them. It worked out perfect. Looking forward to another stay in the future

    Mark2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is wonderful, much better than we could have ever hoped for. The back yard is a thing of dreams, stay up late for the stars they are something to see.

This sweet little cabin faces east, giving you a breathtaking view of the Cabinet Mountains in Montana, 8 miles away. The spectacular Kootenai River is flowing towards you, as you watch the train silently winding it's way alongside it, in the river valley below. Enjoy this view from your deck out front.
Our entire family took part in the building, decorating and landscaping of this little North Idaho gem. Everything from the foundation, iron work, lighting and cabinetry, to the shower curtain rod:)
The road you came in on, makes for a beautiful stroll anytime of day. Turning left at the top of our 'work out' hill is a private road you can use for a longer walk.
  • This cabin is everything and more!! We absolutely loved everything about this home. It was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. The cabin was built by the hosts and you can truly feel the great energy as soon as you walk in. The details they have put into this cabin really are beautiful. The views are amazing. If you need a weekend getaway or long term stay you can't go wrong with this cabin. Thank you so much for hosting us over valentines day weekend. We will definitely be coming back.

    Brandon2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This gem of a "cabin" is actually a luxury spot in the middle of rugged wilderness. Do cabins have hot running water, fast wifi, and beautiful wrought-iron finishes? This one does, and yet it maintains that irresistible cozy rustic feeling of a real cabin in the woods. I stayed for two weeks and never felt cramped. I may have "cabin-fever" now, a burning desire to ditch city life and start a homestead in Northern Idaho thanks to the amenities and hospitality of this place and these hosts.

Located in a fantastic, quiet neighborhood, Evergreen House is an ideal retreat, yet close to everything that Bonners Ferry has to offer. There are fantastic hikes, mountain biking, a national wildlife refuge with walking and driving tours, shopping, dining, gaming, and more. The library in town is the best small town library in the US. The boundary county fairgrounds in downtown Bonners Ferry has a really nice playground for the kids.

Enjoy a winter escape, ski trip, or a hunting retreat with rustic appeal. We have croquet, horse shoes and other family games. Don't forget to bring your ATV's in the summer and snow mobiles in the winter. We are minutes away from Roman Nose lakes and beautiful mountain views. North Idaho is an amazing place to stay. All at Highland Flats Cottage in Naples Idaho. NOTE: "Pets welcome when added as extra guests. Please see rules for pets! We know you will enjoy your stay at our cottage!
Nestled in the Selkirks at the base of Roman Nose mountain, Highland Flats Cottage offers a relaxing stay in an area where wildlife abounds and you can still see the Milky Way at night. Highland Flats is a quiet area, so don't be surprised if you hear wolves howl, or hear a heard of elk walking through the property at night. You may even wake up to seeing a moose or black bear in the yard at breakfast time. Do not let them frighten you. The wildlife is what makes this area worth coming to, it's part of the experience! I assure you, they are more afraid of you than you might be of them. Enjoy the opportunity to see the wildlife if they pay a visit, but please don't feed them. Things to do around here: * Hiking * Boating * ATV's * Snow Mobiles * Skiing * Hunting * Fishing * Camping * Nature viewing Places to go near hear: * Deep Creek - 3 Miles * McArthur Lake - 7 Miles * Roman Nose Lakes - 15 miles * Kootenai River Inn Casino - 15 miles * Kootenai National Wildlife Refuge - 18 miles * Sandpoint - 25 miles * Lake Pend Oreille - 25 miles * Canada - 45 miles * Sliverwood Theme Park - 54 Miles * Ross creek giant cedars - 72 miles * Priest Lake - 73 miles * Glacier National Park - 191 Miles
Highland Flats is a beautiful area. It is also a quiet area. The neighbors are kind and friendly. Please respect the neighborhood by being quiet after dark and not hosting loud parties. Please keep pets on leashes and don't allow them to wander into the neighbors yards. Most areas are not fenced in and therefore it's common for wildlife to venture onto our property. Do not be alarmed by this, it's part of the experience. Please be mindful of pets and children and do not allow them to venture into the acreage on the property. Wildlife may be present.
  • Nice little cottage with three bedrooms in a rural neighborhood with views of mountains. Old but in good condition, heat works very well and there is a lot of hot water. Near hiking and 15 minutes from Bonner's Ferry. Cottage is well-stocked with useful items and all typical modern amenities, full kitchen, full-size W/D, etc., and Glenn, who lives on the property behind the cottage, is very helpful. We had a wonderful week there. Disadvantages were that the dog on the property barked a lot one morning before 7am and the internet connection via wifi can be slow. The latter is common in rural areas.

    Joseph2020-03-17T00:00:00Z

    Mason2020-03-01T00:00:00Z

A Vintage log cabin nestled beside large grove of pines, a western feel but modern comfort. Cabin has lots to offer in a wonderful environment. Wildlife abounds, of a large variety. Lots of water around the area, fish, swim, float, boat or go fishing on Smith lake (5 Miles)
Dog fee is $25/stay per dog, pay owner directly please. The log cabin brings out a feel of the West we read about in history, with touches of the local history in the photos throughout the cabin. Yet it has plenty of hot water and a Hi-Flame efficient wood stove or a infrared electric heater. Cabin stays warm in winter and cool in summer because of the thickness of the logs. Comfortable Englander queen bed and just as comfortable twin. Since we live on the Earth and there are critters out there that want to share the indoor space, we take precautions to control the insects and rodents( have never had a rodent yet in cabin but a few ants have made it in) so we use a organic product ( will not hurt pets or humans, but takes care if the insects) the product is in a small granular form and is under sinks and around the outside of cabin and on porch. Please leave only effective if there. PLEASE do not leave pets alone in cabin, either have in crate ( we have very large one and smaller) or take them with you, unless a parrot in cage (we had visit for 5 weeks once!) We have a outdoor kennel if you dog does not dig. Talk to us and introduce your animal to ours, everyone gets along better that way. There maybe exceptions for a few hours once we meet the animal.
The property is country, but close to town, 3 miles, we live on the property too, but cabin is past and off to the side init's own grove of pines, we have a 6' bamboo privacy fence at the edge of our pine grove. We have a fairly close bakery and country store 1/4 mile and Hardware is just past that, a truck stop is at the junction of 95 and 2. Has good hardy food too! All you can eat fish and chips Friday! We have a organic farming couple across the road and many nice quiet families on their well kept acres in the area. But the wonderful mountain views as one drives to the property. Lots to eat, drink and do outdoors here! Occasionally there is a happiness at the local Pearl theater and we are scheduled for our movie theater to be reopened after renovations at a later date.
  • Very friendly and helpful. Nice quiet, peaceful little cabin just what I needed for my stay.

Our dog is welcome here and she is so comfortable staying here too. Lee is an amazing host...helpful, friendly, informative and at the same time non-intrusive. Her animals are friendly too. We can't wait to return.

Small basic studio apartment, on the edge of Ponderay on 6 acres, but still close to restaurants, shopping and about 5 min drive to bottom of Schweitzer mountain and 2.5 miles to downtown Sandpoint and lake Pend o’reille. Great for kayaking, boating or just relax on the beach. Comfortable queen size bed Partial kitchen, 3/4 bathroom with small shower. It is older and the interior consists of a variety of passed down furniture. Our goal is to provide an affordable place for people to stay.
Small, basic ( nothing fancy) but comfortable. We try to have a place for someone that likes being by themselves verses renting a bedroom in a house and something that is affordable in this area. • A genuine home from home awaits at Cassie's secluded property. Spotlessly clean while offering an insight into an authentic family environment. We were made to feel at ease from the moment of arrival. A most comfortable bed allowed for a great night's rest. Everything was as described and we definitely recommend this accommodation.

  • Great spot to rest and cook some meals after a long day of skiing!!!

  • Cari’s place is really the best value in the area. It’s on beautiful private grounds yet easy access to everything. It’s clean and cozy and we would definitely stay again.

    Laurie2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • This apartment truly has everything you would need, except a full size oven. But who really needs that when they are on vacation, anyway!?! The bed was extremely comfortable, which is always a pleasant surprise when staying away from home. The couch was very comfortable, as well, perfect for snuggling up and watching TV or a movie. The kitchen was fully equipped with all sorts of pots and pans, dishes, seasoning, even tea and coffee! If you stay here, you won't regret it.

    Barry2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing! Not only was it bigger than we expected but the location was a perfect balance of everything we needed for our trip.

    Dave2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Cari’s place is a great apartment for a short or long stay for a single person or a couple. It is conveniently located minutes from Sandpoint and Schweitzer Mountain Resort. The apartment is fairly priced, well furnished and incredibly comfortable and intimate. Cari is a great host, readily available, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Cari’s place.

    Lee2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Space was very comfortable and spacious. Communication with the host was prompt and friendly.

    Ann2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and beautiful above garage apartment. The surrounding landscape is gorgeous and Cari was a very courteous host. With it being an above garage apartment you will hear noises from below if things are being done or moved inside the garage. This did not bother or ruin my visit at all just something to know. Very central location and easy access to Sandpoint or even going back down 95 and go to Silverwood or Coeur D’Alene.

    Rachel2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • I’ve stayed here several times and just love it. Very peaceful and easy to get too. Cari is very kind and a pleasure to chat with. Apartment is amazing for the price.

The Cabin is a perfect getaway! Located right on the shore of Lake Pend Oreille, this is a cozy spot that I built myself. One extra comfy bed - with a view of the lake - electric fireplace/heater, coffee and tea, and of course an in-house ukulele for those sunset serenades. This is a quasi-camping experience. There is no running water or shower. There is a composting toilet located in the teepee and the space is private and secluded.
There is a campfire pit available, and there is waterfront access on the lot. There are multiple kayaks, a canoe and 2 SUP boards that are available for rent.
  • Loved this quaint cabin on the lake! Amazing views and a positively lovely glamping experience!

    Arielle2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy little place to stay, even in the winter! We woke up the last morning to a great view of the sun shining on new snow around the lake. We hope to stay again!

    Jodi2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend staying here.. the cabin was super cute and cozy, Ben greeted us as soon as we got there and was super friendly.. will definitely be back!

    Charlye2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our time on the lake! Sandpoint was extremely close, but we felt like we had a secret cabin in the woods. The hosts are so friendly, and we loved having a BBQ to grill. 10/10 want to come back!

    Grace2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin on the lake was such a nice getaway for us to celebrate my boyfriends birthday! A beautiful setting, cozy little space, and wonderful hosts...so inviting and helpful. Got some great local tips for vegan food and hikes and ended up eating SO well all weekend and went on a beautiful waterfall hike! Not to mention they got us set up for a moonlight row boat ride which was great. Thank you all!

    Shana2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome little space right on the lake. Super close to town, but also right in nature. We loved every minute of our time here. Thanks again.

    Chelsey And Jason2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny cabin is the perfect way to go glamping. The beautiful view of the lake makes the perfect sunset backdrop. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were friendly and inviting. Even though the cabin is on the same piece of property the tree line gives a nice secluded area for you to enjoy. Highly recommend staying here if your looking to go camping but not exactly camping lol.

    Jessica2019-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • It a perfect spot on the lake. Feels secluded even though the hosts are incredibly friendly. Wish I was still there. Great location as well. A very short drive to sandpoint or Schweitzer. Good people

Your beautifully comfortable one room off grid cabin, begins with a scenic, steep 1/4 mile heart pumping hike to the cabin(10 to 20 min). This cabin with it's beautiful views offers "a get back to the simple life" off grid opportunity to unplug from the digital world and plug into nature. (No Wi-Fi, cell service is still mostly available) It is only a few miles from multiple Forest Service trail heads and the beautiful Pack River. One could also hike in back of the cabin for miles and more mountain views. You can cook or barbecue your own meals in the fully functional cabin kitchen or get a delicious meal at our local Blue Heron Café just 3 miles away. Amazing drinking water from our 250 foot well is provided.

The possibilities are endless with this sweet little cabin… Stay at home and enjoy the peace and quiet or go on numerous adventures and explorations available in the area.
  • This cabin is a very special place. I enjoyed the solitude, the simplicity of a crackling fire and reading all day. It is a home away from home. A retreat for the soul and mind.

    Linds2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was excellent and exactly as described. The weather didn’t cooperate but the wood stove kept the cabin plenty warm! Would definitely go back again.

    Megan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin on the hill has an amazing view of the valley. It's nice and relaxing to sit on the deck in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee with the ones we love. The cabin is very clean, comfortable and spacious. We look forward to going back another time.

  • Amazing off-grid experience with peace, solitude, views, wildlife and comfortable living space.

    Lisa2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • The gem of a cabin is well worth the short but tough hike to get to it. Huge thanks to Kirk for transporting our stuff up and down the mountain at check in and check out. Aarow did a great job showing us the ropes inside the cabin. It was nice to take a vacation with a smaller ecological footprint thanks to this well designed off-grid cabin.

    Leslie2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Kirk and Aarow have a special little surprise waiting for you when you arrive. They are so kind and helpful giving tips on places to eat sights to see and things to experience! Stay here! You won't regret it!

    Jacelyn2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Very steep hike but worth the work. I recommend taking only what you need up. Spectacular views, really good clean water, fresh air, peace and quiet! They have thought of every detail. Telescope, binoculars, yoga mat, LED lights in all the right places, bbq, french press, tea pot, stove top, board games, dominoes, cards, yahtzee, a book to read, hammocks. Even the soap was amazing, towels extra soft. Bed was super comfy. Only problem was we couldn't stay longer! Excellent place to unwind. Good cell signal but we turned them off and enjoyed the fresh mountain air and the hummingbirds! And to top it off the nicest most hospitable couple I've ever met. Helpful too! Gave us good local info. I highly recommend this cabin.

    Sara2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Kirk and Aarow were very welcoming at check in and explainedthe details that go along with staying in the solar powered and off-grid cabin. They were also really great about getting in touch to confirm our arrival details, as my phone was having issues and my messages in/out were acting up. As mentioned in the listing, the hike to the cabin is steep but not too long, and we were visiting Idaho for the nature and outdoors so a bit of additional hiking for the views and solitude was no issue. The cabin was very peaceful, overlooking the valley and forested hills all around. We lived sitting on the swing chair and lying in the hammock watching the numerous hummingbirds come right up the deck. Very clean and tidy inside, with everything we needed to stay comfortably, prepare the food we brought, and plan out our visits to the surrounding area, and without the distractions of TV or wifi. Thanks for a relaxing time!

    Sandpoint, ID, United States

Decorated in a Western rustic theme, this 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with an outdoor hot tub is located in the beautiful Selle Valley north of Sandpoint, Idaho. Cozy, comfortable and secluded, yet close to town, the lake and Schweitzer.
The house's location is super private and quiet on 10 treed acres with views of the mountains, yet is only 15 minutes from downtown Sandpoint. The house is a well-apportioned, 1,360-square-foot space that sleeps up to 6 with a queen bed in the master bedroom, a full size bed in the second bedroom and a full size sleeper sofa in the third bedroom, which also serves as the TV/family room. The queen mattress is a firm all-foam mattress with an optional topper, and the full-size mattress is medium firm all-foam mattress -- both very comfortable! The main bathroom includes a unique neo-angle shower stall constructed of slate and metal and doubles as the laundry room. The master bedroom features a beautiful, deep, 5-foot-long cast iron tub minted in 1923. The flooring is a mix of bamboo, acid-stained concrete, slate and carpeting. The home features modern, custom-built and vintage furniture, specialty tile and rock work, and artisan touches throughout. The house was recently redecorated in a Western rustic theme and includes luxurious furnishings, lots of beautiful artwork and custom paint jobs. The fully stocked kitchen features concrete counter tops and a fabulous, genuine copper penny backsplash, with seating for three around the island and six at the trestle table. A TV lover I am not, so I don't have satellite service, but I do have a TV on a wall mount in the family room, plus lots of DVDs and VHS movies for guests to enjoy. If you must watch the latest news or sports game, this may not be the place for you; however, there is wireless Internet (Frontier broadband DSL, high-speed unlimited use) and the closest sports bar and grill is only seven miles away. The house includes lots of games, plus a large vinyl and CD collection, so families can enjoy spending quality time together. The house is heated primarily by the wood stove, but it also has electric heat in every room. Nothing feels better than wood heat! The Blaze King stove is a new model with a glass door so guests can watch the fire. Mesmerizing and relaxing! While the house is lovely, the best part may be the outdoor hot tub under the stars! The hot tub is only about 50 steps away from the house and is not visible from the house, nor the camping cabin. Guests enjoy the outdoor spaces, too, from a covered porch and stamped concrete deck to a paver patio that includes handmade benches made with pickup tailgates and a beautiful chiminea for relaxing by an outdoor fire. Campwood is provided. A walking trail takes guests over two bridges and through the woods. Horseshoe pits are in the yard across from the outdoor hot tub. The property includes an RV site and camping cabin, accessed by a separate driveway, that would allow the possibility of group retreats. You may see other guests from time to time, but the cabin and house are not within sight of each other. The camping cabin is open year-round, whereas the RV site is available April through October.
The Selle Valley is a very desirable neighborhood north of Sandpoint. The house sits in the heart of the valley where the land is zoned agricultural. When people come to my property, they love the rural setting surrounded by hay fields and views of two mountain ranges, the peace and quiet, and the beauty of the woods. No neighbors are within view; the closest neighbors are 600 feet away. The RV site and camping cabin are about 250 feet away from the house and not within sight. The house and RV site/cabin have their own driveways and that adds to the privacy.
  • Perfect place for quiet weekend away! Beautiful surroundings yet close enough to local attractions.

    Elizabeth2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • The house and property are wonderful if you like rural and quiet. The house has everything that you need. The kitchen is very well-stocked and the furnishings and decor are beautiful. A very comfortable place to be.

  • Great location. Quiet and felt like home. We really enjoyed the hot tub.

    Tanya2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the stay, amazingly rustic yet very comfortable. The hot tub and the clear sky made the nights fantastic. There was plenty of space to unwind and relax. We were also amused by the morning wakeup alarm, the local rooster!! I would highly recommend this place if you like being out town, but not far from it all!

    Scott2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful place... sparkling clean, decorated beautifully inside with fabulous views outside! Friendly host and great price. Highly recommend!

    Stephanie2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Some friends from Hawai'i and I spent a few days riding at Schweitzer and stayed at Twin Cedars. Billie Jean has done a charming job with all the furnishings and amenities. Teh Blaze King kept us cozy warm as did the comfortable furniture. Lots of kitchen goodies and a beautiful place. Oh, and Dinky, the rooster. Fun to watch and talk to!

    Nancy2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second trip up to Billie's cabin in Sandpoint...the location is fairly remote and peaceful, yet is only 10 minutes from town. The house is very modern, spotless inside and out, well appointed inside and has a warm, homey, 'country' vibe throughout. Great kitchen, lovely living room and wood stove to get cozy with...and don't forget the hot tub under the stars! At night you can sometimes watch the snow grooming machines go back and forth up in the sky at Schweitzer mtn...and in the day you can see skiers (with binoculars) cruising down the back side of Schweitzer too. Just a lovely, remote, peaceful place...and Billie and Mike are great hosts. They are responsive, set you up with everything you need, and then leave you be. Perfect!

    Greg2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Billie Jean is great, very hospitable. Western house is clean, cozy, and a great space to unwind after a day of skiing. Hot tub was an added bonus.

Welcome to our getaway in beautiful Sandpoint ID. Here you will find peace and quiet in your large studio guest home, with all the comfort, size and amenities of a one bedroom apartment. This is a four season property!!! It doesn't matter which season you choose to be here in beautiful Sandpoint, there is something to do. It's winter and time for skiing, snowshoeing, snowboarding, sledding etc.. after a full day doing so many outdoor activites, come back to warmth, a gas fireplace and peace.
The studio has a private bathroom, is cozy, quiet and romantic. Occasionally, deer, geese, ducks, etc wonder through the yard. Tea, coffee, condiments and some spices are available.
We are in a rural setting among farms and ranches on a major county road. We are only 3 miles from highway 95, and our road is a bike loop. Motorcycles are welcome. Kayaking and canoeing are accessible across the street from this property.
  • This was the perfect space for a quick getaway weekend. The pictures do not do justice; the room is a fantastic hideaway for rest and relaxation. Clean, spacious, peaceful, and with personal touches all around, this place was exactly what we needed for a comfortable home away from home. What a beautiful spot!

    Lindsay2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • What an adorable and cozy space! Exactly what we were looking for. We had so much fun exploring every nook and cranny. There was a lot of information about the space as well as local points of interest, which was great! And once we were done with our initial ooohing and ahhhing, we found a couple of brownies that Marjorie left for us! These little things really made us feel like welcome guests. Thank you so much!

    Sarah2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to stay over when we were in the area for a wedding! Lovely place!

    Dianne2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This amazing loft on the river is quiet, charming, clean, and relaxing. My husband and I felt at home in this restful and beautiful place. We were within minutes of Sandpoint and all the town has to offer. Marjorie is so kind and welcoming. The loft had everything we needed to feel comfortable. We are looking forward to returning! Thank you Marjorie and Larry!

    Tammy2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderfully private and spacious. Wildlife in area, 4 deer, were a delight to watch in the yard. Marjorie is delightful and very responsive. We would certainly consider staying here again!

    Joann2019-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely haven in a beautiful region. The unit is private, with it's own entry on the opposite side of the main house. Large covered deck is perfect for morning coffee and so much more. The building is solid and the unit is very quiet, and the living space is spacious. We love the walk-in closet!

    Michele2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • The space is very cute and has all the necessities you could need. Very clean and homey. Was a great place to rest after visiting silverwood for the weekend. Would love to return again in the future.

    Shnia2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • The hideaway is a fantastic spot to stay! It exceeded our expectations. Close enough to town that it’s super convenient but far enough away to enjoy the seclusion and privacy. The guest suite is spacious and comfortable with a private entrance and lovely deck for enjoying the gorgeous weather we experienced in July. The bed is AWESOME!! I think it was memory foam but I slept like a baby. Marjorie and Larry thought of everything from coffee and a Kuering to wine glasses and an opener to local area tips and a stay journal. We absolutely loved staying here and will stay her again when we return to Sandpoint!

You will be staying in our Guest 14ft Yurt located on 13 acres of birch groves. Our location is about 20 minutes to the base of Schweitzer and town. The Guest Yurt comes complete with queen bed, two burner stove, small fridge, desk, and wood fire. Bring your slippers! Winter time conditions could require 4 wheel drive or AWD when the snow is present.
This 14-foot yurt is a small walk about 50 yards, from your guest parking. You will pass our 30 ft family yurt onto your own private space. The property has a great remote feeling and has space to move around. There is a queen custom bed and room for a child or two on the floor if desired. There is a small gravity fed water system for the Yurt and your own private outhouse. Plenty of wood for you to stay warm by the fire and an outdoor bathtub and shower shared by our family. Note, it is next to our house and the shower is enclosed and the bath is open to the world but we can make it off-limits to our family if there is a desire to use it. The kitchen is for light cooking and comes with pots and pans, plates, etc. and few extras. You will hear the sounds of nature, chickens, maybe our dog Zelda barking here or there and at times, and trains passing through the valley to Canada. We are 1.5 miles away from the tracks. Note: spring time has bugs and new life hatching. Stink bugs do come out in the woods around here. If you are into being independent and open to new experiences then we would love to share our space with you.
We are just outside of Sandpoint in a wonderful spot in the woods. Only 1/2 mile to pavement and an excellent location for talking walks in the woods. Sometimes 4 wheel drive might be needed after big snow storm to come up to the place.
  • Such a cute place! Very inspirational and rejuvenating. Can't wait to stay there again!

    Amanda2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Even prettier in person!!! Everything is so much fun and so simple to use. I would HIGHLY recommend if you’re going to Sandpoint. Super close to the mountain and a quick drive to town. We had so much fun.

    Madison2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great find outside of town. The road in is a bit bumpy so I don't think I would bring a super low clearance car there but most cars shouldn't have issues. Adorable little yurt with an electric heater, wood stove, gas stovetop, and comfortable bed. Lots of little touches like chilled water in the fridge, a bathrobe, writing desk, tea kettle, and coffee make this a refreshing escape from the city. Only thing I'd note is to be prepared for an outhouse and some potential street noise which seems to travel easily through the woods (nothing a white noise phone app can't fix). There are a couple outlets and basic cookware & cutlery provided. Would definitely go back, really enjoyed the stay.

    Zach2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place in the woods. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Easy directions were given to us. Awesome tiny yurt, heats up quickly with the stove and space heater. 100% recommend.

    Scott2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • It exceeded our expectations! We stayed warm in this chili weather with the fire and heater (: Such a cute & clean little yurt!

  • Would 100% recommend this to anyone. Such a fun experience being in a blizzard while keeping warm in our yurt. Also was very cool being able to shower outdoors while it was blizzarding. Really great location, and very secluded in the woods. I will definitely be back.⛺️

  • Todd and Monica were great! They were kind and accommodating and the space itself is warm and clean (even in the January cold!!) :-)

  • This is a beautiful location with truly unique accommodation! Perfect for a single or couple who likes a bit of off-the-beaten-path adventure. We were there for the skiing (fyi: it was a 35 minute drive to the village at Schweitzer Mountain), but we regret not having more time at the yurt. It would be a great location for a quiet retreat!

Country landscape with wooded surroundings Two small private lakes Nearby hiking Nearby biking Nearby camping 5 miles from Lake Ponderay Fishing and boating at Lake Ponderay Skiing at Schweitzer Resort Deck with view of one of the small lakes 7 miles from Ponderay/Sandpoint
  • Nice folks. I enjoyed my stay and made some good friends. It’s a beautiful place.

  • Great place in wilderness area. Just what I needed, & where I needed to be. Top flight, with stimulating conversation. Recommend highly. Hope I get a chance to visit again. Mike is a great guy.

  • What a beautiful, quiet retreat! As long as you are confident you can make it up the dirt road, we highly recommend basing your Idaho adventures here. Everything from a warm greeting upon arrival, clean and private bathroom, to a huge kitchen and even allowing us most of the fridge and freezer space! We loved it here we even extended our stay!

    Charity2019-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • Huge place! Loads of room. Very clean and comfortable.

  • Great hospitality, if you can make it up an icy hill.

    Preston2018-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • This home was the perfect after long days of exploring the area. I liked that the location is in a foresty area. Very charming! Grace and Timothy were the perfect hosts. Great conversationalists and so willing to help. The room and home itself were extremely comfortable and provided everything I needed. I'd love to stay here again when I return to Sandpoint.

    Claudia2018-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful home, remotely (guests should be comfortable driving on a gravel road) situated in the quiet and peaceful mountain woods overlooking a lake, has the most welcoming and friendly family as the owners. Grace and Timothy are responsive, clean, respectful, and interesting (as well as providing a very comfortable bed!); I'd definitely stay here again when in the Sandpoint area. Unforgettable!

  • A really nice experience, overall. I reserved last minute, Jim and Sheryl were super quick on the response. Upon arrival Jim was there to greet us and show us around the property. The rental itself was very clean and comfortable; beats a hotel.. hands down! Apples from the apple tree, thick blankets for the colder temps and a sauna for those in the need of a good sweat. We’d return!

An amazing and unique experience! Come enjoy what North Idaho has to offer! A great place to stay after spending a day at Schweitzer, on the lake, hiking, biking or shopping in Sandpoint. This is a place for the adventurous! Conveniently located, it is an easy 5-7 minute drive to town or 30 minute drive to the top Schweitzer! Our straw bale and cob studio is tucked away beneath the cedars and pines at the base of Schweitzer Mountain Ski resort. It is constructed with 95% repurposed wood, recycled or all natural materials and fashioned with the environment and health in mind. Using materials of straw, sand and clay, the walls actually breathe, and filter the air continuously. It also stays naturally cool in the summer! No A/C needed! The bedding is also all natural and/or organic too! We invite you to be our guest at our personal retreat studio. Every detail meticulously handcrafted for the purpose of ease and relaxation. Enjoy a night in our studio and be refreshed! We believe simple is beautiful and natural is the best! Our studio is built amongst the cedars and the ferns in harmony with its environment. The acoustics within the two foot thick walls are astounding if you like to sing or play guitar! There is plenty of floor space for yoga and an amazing window seat to gaze at the greenery or read a book in peace while the wood stove crackles and shows its flame. As the sun passes overhead light rays pass through the prism on the roof cap and pass beams of light over the walls sometimes in amazing and mysterious fashions! You will feel connected to nature when you touch our amazing finished earthen floors with your bare feet! Most people have never experienced something so simple and yet so refined! We invite you to relax at Cedar Fern. There is a beautiful diversity of cedars, firs, pines, ferns, and much more. Relax and enjoy the abundant nature right around the studio. Get away from the stress and pressures of everyday life!
The neighborhood is cozily tucked away in the woods, giving the place a feeling of being in the wild while all the time you are close enough to town to easily drive in and grab a bite to eat or shop.
  • Not much to add to my first review, but this was our second stay at the Cob home and it was just as amazing as the first time! We will be back in the Spring, it’s our new Sandpoint hangout :)

  • Cozy retreat in the woods. Would highly recommend!

    Laura2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely cob cottage and surrounding grounds are absolutely enchanting! The colors, materials, decor and homey touches were soothing and warm. And the surrounding grounds were beautiful, private, and thoughtfully laid out. It was exactly the kind of comforting retreat I was looking for. I didn’t want to leave!! I doubt I will ever find anything like it, again. I wholeheartedly recommend it, if you are looking for a magical, woodsy retreat to rest and relax in.

    Amber2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We truly enjoyed our time here. The place was clean and just as described. I especially enjoyed the privacy. Don’t forget shower shoes as you experience their outdoor shower and salt if you need a bit extra on food. I really enjoyed the thoughtful touches like fresh cedar bough filled vases and organic tea. Thank you Jessica and Samuel for a memorable time.

  • Was awesome. Thank you much my dudes. Keeping it real

    Monica2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so charming. Cute touches, great windows. The bed is so comfortable and I loved the pillows. The window seat became my favorite place to be. The composting toilet was easy to use and never any smell. I was a little scared to use the outdoor shower because I thought I’d freeze. But it was nice and warm. Only a little cold toweling off. The train tracks are very close but at night I never was bothered by the whistle. I love how it is nestled into a small forested space. If you love trees and the forest, as I do, it is very lovely.

    Shari2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • “Fairytale” is such an accurate way to describe this place! From the moment you drive up, the studio and outdoor space around it beckons you to relax, unwind, and forget about the hustle and bustle of life. The studio itself is exceptionally clean, has the best atmosphere I’ve ever seen, and is just downright inspiring. The outdoor shower is a dream, it was honestly one of our favorite parts about the space. Don’t be afraid of the composting toilet! You use public restrooms all the time, and this is WAY more sanitary. I was hesitant about the toilet beforehand, and am now sold on the idea. It was completely fine. Jessica and Sam are amazing hosts and totally accommodating to every need we had. We’ve stayed in several AirBnBs over the years and without a doubt, this is at the top of our list. The train is loud, don’t think you won’t hear it. We are used to it since we live near the tracks, but Jessica did provide earplugs near the bed for people who aren’t as used to it as we were. We slept like babies, and quite frankly didn’t want to leave. This is our new Sandpoint hangout for sure, such an amazing stay. Don’t even hesitate to book a night here, it’s something you’ll be talking about for weeks afterwards.
