Holiday rentals in Ruteng

We had the most amazing days! Really kind team, super helpfull. The room (and balcony) were spotless, cleaned everyday with fresh towels. We had really nice trips: climbing the vulcano (with 3 amazing guides) and visiting the hobbit cave + traditional village. Would 100% recommend staying here!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mamas. The staff were so friendly and made us feel right at home. We had dinner and breakfast here and it was some of the best foods we’ve had on our trip so far!!! It was the perfect oasis for us after a long day of travelling.

This stay was great!! We loved Labuan Bajo so much; Matheus and family were so so so lovely and accommodating. We were given tea or coffee every morning and on the night of our arrival and the house was kept very clean during our stay. The house is full of Matheus’ + friends’ art which was a beautiful addition to the space. Would recommend organizing a bike rental somewhat ahead of time or getting the number of a grab driver so that you are not left without a ride near the house, but we loved the location. The house is a 20 minute drive from Labuan Bajo and within 3 hours from Ruteng, spider-web rice fields, waterfalls and caves. We are only sad we didn’t get to stay longer - we will definitely be staying there again when we get the chance both for the location and the people :)

We arrived from labuan bajo with the gunung mas minibus. We had texted peter beforehand and he picked us up from the bus terminal. We were welcomed with coffee and home made bread. He showed us the beautiful rice fields his family have been working on for generations. We also got to see how coffee is grown, dried and roasted first hand. Peter and his wife Carolina are wonderful hosts and helped us where they could. We felt like part of the family. Peter helped arrange the pickup from the bus that we are sadly sitting in right now, leaving his place. The room & bath are exactly as described. A little bit outside ruteng itself which we really enjoyed. If you want to know anything in advance, like e.g. an extra matress, i suggest reaching out to him and asking We had a wonderful time there :) Best, Johanna & James

Our stay at cha cha hostel was incredible! the owners are the kindest people we met on our journey. they have a restaurant which has very cheap but great food - and they will cook for you even when the restaurant is closed. ayu and her husband even invited us for family dinner! we loved staying there so much that we extended for one night more. it is just the perfect place and atmosphere!

Het was een ultieme ervaring om een week bij Laurant te verblijven. Het slapen in de buitenlucht is een hele ervaring. De gezellige Gekkos en de hond en kat maken het af. Niet te vergeten het lekkere ontbijt en elke dag is het een verrassing wat we voor het diner kregen. Laurant bouwt momenteel een spa en wij mochten alvast een voorproefje krijgen. De masseuse was een van de beste ooit. Geniet met volle teugen bij de cottage, de omgeving is adembenemend en Laurant is erg vriendelijk en gezellig.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im lontart Guesthouse! Matheus und seine Familie sind sehr nett und haben uns freundlich empfangen. Wir haben auch vor Ort einen günstigen aber guten Roller ausgeliehen, mit dem man schnell in Labuan Bajo ist (~15 Minuten). Es hängen in den Zimmern sehr schöne vom Gastgeber selbstgemalte Bilder an der Wand! Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar
