Wake up to the chirping of the birds, and regularly there are deer to be seen from the house. The area offers plenty of opportunities for cycling and hiking. From the house, you are 500 meters into the forest to take a nice forest walk. The center of Staphorst is 3.5 kilometers away with a wide choice of shops.

Idyllic cottage for yourself in Giethoorn

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid = 45 minutes walk) Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

Our cozy house is located on 't Wildryck, on the edge of the beautiful nature reserve 't Drents- Friesche Wold. Plenty of bike and mountain bike trails and nice hiking. The nice swimming pool or grab a terrace in the most fun Drenthe brink villages of Dwingeloo and Diever! Visit Wildlands Adventure Zoo or Shakespeare Theater!

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
