Holiday rentals in Roupaki

We had a great time at Elia House! The house was spotless, very tidy, and exactly as shown in the photos, modern and comfortable . From the very beginning, we felt at home. The location is very convenient for excursions in the area and is also next to the beach which is accessible on foot and is all sandy. We visited the beach, Ancient Olympia which is very close, we went for a walk in Caiaphas and enjoyed the nature. There are also several villages and taverns for nice food and relaxation in the surrounding area. Georgia, the host, was very friendly and helpful as she was always willing to help us with anything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely go back since it is just 3 hours from Athens. We recommend it to anyone who wants a calm and beautiful stay in Ilia and visit Ancient Olympia.

Fotis is a great host, we were very warmly welcomed! Fotis is a discreet but very considerate host, he spoiled us with delicious tomatoes from the garden, figs, cactus fruits 🌵 etc... We felt at home in Fotis's beautiful place, very comfortable, clean, with a garden and a beautiful pool! Thank you for the valuable advice, the smiles, the touches! We were delighted with our stay! Very clean. Walking distance to some restaurants and a market. Watwr a, snacks and coffee available. The shower had a glitch with the shower head, we did not report it until the next day when we were leaving, so there were no stars off for that since we did not give an opportunity to fix it while we were there. Notified the host on xheckout so i am sure it will be working for the n3xt guests.

Iwavva and her family were extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable. The little cottage is completely well-equipped and you also have your privacy. We were surprised with homemade food. A beautiful terrace where you can see the stars and beautiful beaches in the area and very close by. The kids loved the many animals. A paradise if you like animals (dogs, cats, chickens). We hope to return ❤️

The house is very nice and in the midst of a nice garden. It is very quiet and the house is well equipped. The beach is only a short walk (less than 5 minutes) away and has golden sand and the water is amazing. During the summer months there is also a beach bar, but the beach is large enough that you can also spend your day by yourself. However, we would like to add two things. They are stated in the description, but we were not fully aware of them and would like to point out: 1) There is no wi-fi! 2) The note that smoking is permitted on the property means that people/guests were smoking inside, even in the bedroom. You could smell the old smoke throughout the house and it took us several days to get rid of the smell. The house is advertised as ‘family friendly’, but this was really a negative issue as we were traveling with our very small child which should not be exposed to the smell of smoke at all.

As beautiful as in Greece, it is only in Greece. And this region is particularly beautiful and authentic. If you can still stay in such a wonderful house with such helpful hosts, the holiday is perfect. Thanks again and see you soon. Hellas forever!

We felt right at home, with an experience that was truly Greek in all it’s authenticity. Katakolo is an old port city where cruise liners still stop, which gives the city both an old world and modern feeling. The house was charming and Konstantinos has a beautiful garden that we enjoyed sitting in both during the day and in the evening. The beach is within walking distance, with the option of other beaches along the bay, I’d recommend using a car as not to get sun stroke in summer. The house was cosy and quiet, friendly neighbours and overall a wonderful experience!
