Wow. Gabriel is a great guy with amazing communication and understanding for last minute changes! Not only that but the property manager Jose is very kind,helpful and respectful of your group’s privacy. This property was better than what we could even imagine. This is an absolute oasis. The beauty of this spot is incomparable. The host is extremely helpful and answers all questions almost immediately. The couple that lives there are friendly and accommodating. We opted to rent the boat for the two nights we were there and we highly recommend doing that. Walking to area beaches, while possible, can be difficult. The grounds are extremely well kept. If I am lucky enough to return to the area I would 100% stay here again.

Our group of 4 couples had an amazing stay at the Sofitel Villa! The service was exceptional, and the villa itself was beautiful and well-maintained. A special shoutout to Berky, the maid, who kept everything spotless and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Mirelles, the cook, was equally fantastic—every meal was delicious and made with great care. And a huge thanks to Carlos, who helped coordinate everything seamlessly, making our stay stress-free and enjoyable. Their hospitality truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Oceanfront Villa - Nueva Vida Baru

We stayed at Ana’s place for a family trip with grandparents, kids (10 and 16), and ourselves. The setting was beautiful, with a great common area surrounded by a few bird enclosures, a pool, and a quiet beach where we rarely saw anyone else. The housekeeper, Wendy, also cooked for us and was wonderful. Her husband, Sergio was very friendly and helped me get kayaks in the morning along with anything else that we needed around the property. Be sure to stock up on groceries before leaving the city — town options are limited. The water stays cool, but with the heat, it was refreshing, and the air conditioning worked well in every room. Ana helped us set up a private boat trip to snorkel at a nearby island, which was a great experience without big crowds. We had a fantastic stay and hope to return!

We had an amazing stay as a couple in the tree house. If you are looking for a peaceful place to deconnect and rest we highly recommend! It was super easy to cook and feel at home. We are from the city so it was magical to hear the waves as we fell asleep and wake up to the sound of the birds. Remy and his team are very responsive and fix any problem or answer all questions right away. You can speak in spanish or use a translator to communicate via text in english, very easy. The area is not super active which is what we were looking for, and it felt very safe at the same time.
