Studio@Mimburi offers guests a secluded and peaceful, self-contained studio set amongst rainforest and eucalyptus trees overlooking the spectacular Glasshouse Mountains.
We're a short 20 minute drive to Maleny and just 10 minutes away from the Woodfordia precinct – home of the Woodford Folk Festival.
The studio touts exposed wooden trusses, contemporary furnishings, polished cement flooring, a fully serviced kitchen, modern bathroom and a wood fired heater (firewood and kindling provided).

The space
We pride ourselves on providing a beautifully clean and environmentally friendly space.
A complimentary welcome breakfast pack will be provided on your arrival, which you can prepare at your leisure.
We have 55 inch Smart TV, Netflix and a bluetooth enabled sound bar for your viewing and listening pleasure.
Bed linen, towels, organic toiletries, tea, coffee and basic cooking supplies are included. Stay a couple of nights or even a week or more as the kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, crockery and modern appliances including coffee machine, full-sized fridge/freezer, microwave plus an oven and gas cooktop.
At Mimburi, we enjoy 95 acres of natural bush land abutting the Bellthorpe National Park, home to a wonderful array of birds and wildlife. Whilst you enjoy a stroll on one of our walking tracks, you are likely to encounter wallabies, kangaroos, goannas, wild deer, echidnas and the occasional koala.
The open fire pit area is a wonderful place to relax and inhale the breathtaking vista. Showcasing Mt. Beerwah, Mt Tibrogargan and Mt. Coonowrin, on a clear day you can see all the way to Mulgumpin (Moreton Island). Reclining in our locally handcrafted Adirondack chairs, you can enjoy the setting sun illuminating the mountains (for the early risers sunrise can be spectacular). As night falls the uninterrupted star scape will amaze.
Mimburi is a low impact, eco environment. We generate our own electricity through our large solar system and harvest our own filtered rainwater for cleaning and drinking (No chemicals). We also use a Biolytic Waste Management System to process all waste in an environmentally friendly manner. No chemicals are used on the property.

Acknowledgement of Country

At Mimburi we acknowledge the Traditional Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Owners of the land, sea and waters of the Australian continent, and recognise their custodianship of culture and Country for over 60,000 years.
