An independent spacious studio service apartment, East facing, sunshine, foliage, best for 4, stretchable 5 at Rs.700 per night after 2 guests. Paradiso is upmarket with many foreigners and expats and celebrities residing in locality. It is serene, central, close to Khan Market, CP, Janpath, metro stations. The electricity is billed at Rs.10 per unit; basics are on power backup. Ventilated kitchenette with gas connection 24/7 opens into backyard with washing machine-dryer.

We are housed inside the surreal locality of Nizamuddin East that prides itself of having over 30 well groomed parks.

Our furnished service apartment on the Lower Ground Floor (studio 28) in the World Heritage locality in the centre of South Delhi, with Central Park at few steps walking and - three kilometers from Khan Market, walking distance to Nizamuddin Railway Station; offers a unique lush green view with huge trees engulfing the roads and has the biggest children's' park on the apartment's left side with swings and the Khan-e-khanan Tomb (a medieval architectural marvel) a few meters on its right.

The apartment is owned and furnished by a writer who is also a nature and music lover. The apartment is a blend of aesthetics, functionality and simplicity. It is Vastu-Shastra compliant and gets ample sunshine and a clear view of foliage. Being in the lower ground floor it has the advantage of being cool in the scorching summers of Delhi and warm in the shivering winters. A studio service apartment with sunshine & greenery around, ideal for 3-5 persons.

The electricity is billed separately at Rs.10/unit (standard rates) and there is power backup. Kitchenette overlooks backyard. A stay of over 5 days entails a security refundable deposit of Rs.7000.

Barely half a kilometer away (walking distance) is the famous Humayun's Tomb - the prototype of the Taj Mahal at Agra. Adjacent to it is the city's most famous Central Park - Sunder Nursery.

The Nizamuddin Railway station that connects trains to most Indian states is also in the locality, a few meters away from the studio apartment.

The locality is well connected to the Delhi Metro with metro stations - JLN stadium, Khan Market and Jangpura (Violet Line) are within the radius of 3 kilometers.

The Delhi Airport is 30-40 minutes drive or about 15 kms away - time depending upon the traffic.

The Nizamuddin East Colony Association runs a community centre that has a gym, state of the art lawn tennis courts, a basketball court, Table-Tennis. Yoga classes are also held at the community centre on weekends. The New Delhi YMCA branch that holds hobby courses and the local post office are close by - opposite it is the famous Tibetan Medicine Centre.

Some outstanding features of this locality are - the Sikh Damadama Sahib Gurudwara and the Sufi Khanka of Hazrat Inaayat Khan and a Sanatan Hindu Temple.

Café Turtle in the local market offers fine deli products and eclectic soups et al. While the local market is a few meters away and offers all groceries at reasonable price and includes an independent dairy products booth. The friendly fruit and vegetable vendors are around. There is free home delivery by the grocers. The market is dotted with a few haberdashers.

Some renowned persons who reside here are artist Anjolie Ela Menon, Sir Mark Tully (Ex-BBC), Sheila Dixit (former Chief Minister of Delhi), Dr. Ashis Nandy (Social Psychologist, intellectual and Author), and artist Manjeet Bawa.
