Situated in beautiful, peaceful grounds just 12 minutes drive from Looe. With it's own private garden and hot tub it's perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Down by the lake you will find an abundance of wildlife and at night the clear sky makes for stunning star gazing opportunities. Whilst rural it is a great base for exploring the local area including Looe, Fowey and Polperro. Excellent access to the A38 mean it's also ideal for exploring the north coast and further into Cornwall.

The space
The cottage is a single-storey barn conversion with high ceilings and exposed wood beams. In front of the property is a private fenced garden with a hot tub, mature bushes and shrubs. Outdoor seating and a BBQ are provided in the summer months (charcoal not provided). Please just ask if you want to use them at other times. The cottage contains an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, one bedroom with king size bed and a bathroom with bath and shower over top. For babies we can supply a travel cot (please bring your own cot bedding) and highchair. In the lounge there is a wood burner perfect for those cosy winter nights (please bring your own kindling/logs), TV with Freesat and DVD player. The property benefits from high speed broadband so you can stay connected whilst away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The kitchen is equipped with an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. There is off road parking for one car right next to the cottage. Guests are welcome to make use of the grounds which include a mature garden, a lake and gazebo. For those that want to explore further afield you can walk half a mile to the village of Herodsfoot where you can join the West Looe Valley Trail.

Guest access
Guests have their own fenced private garden but can also make use of the grounds and lake apart from the small garden area near the farmhouse.

There is onsite parking for one car. Additional cars, caravans/motorhomes may be accommodated by prior arrangement. Bikes can be stored in the barn - please contact us prior to arrival to arrange.

Other things to note
Mobile signal is patchy with most networks at the property but you can make use of WiFi calling in the cottage. You can also use our landline in emergencies.

Same day change overs may result in the hot tub not being at optimum temperature on check in as the water gets changed between guests and needs time to heat up.

We supply a set of towels for use in the cottage. Please bring your own if you require separate towels for the hot tub.
