Welcome to our farmstay at Millen+Smith Acres!
We have a newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment complete with kitchen and separate entrance! We're 10 mins to peterborough and 5 mins off the 115!
The views are amazing and the animals are lively :)

The space
Firepit and field walks encouraged (Pending the township is not in a burn ban re: fires)

The farm is a beautiful place to explore and depending the night of your stay you might be able to catch a live music performance or other fun event at our licensed event space (Farmhill Weddings). We also are very connected in our community and can provide many recommendations of great food to eat and fun excursions to partake in :)

We have wifi but it’s country internet so keep that in mind if you’re coming to work and rely heavily on zoom - it’s not always the clearest but we are able to stream tv :)

Please keep in mind that we heat with an outdoor wood boiler which takes a little longer to heat the space and runs a little cooler overall in the winter. Bring slippers and a sweater if you run on the cold side. We do have a heated mattress pad, so sleeping is toasty!

Peterborough has SUCH a vibrant restaurant and music scene and GREAT coffee! We'll provide some recommendations in your suite! There is also a vinyard 20 mins away + great hiking trails!

During your stay

We live on site with our two kids so some family noises may be heard. We also have two livestock guardian dogs that protect the property and 2 large house dogs, so some barking may be heard at night. They are very friendly but please let us know if you’re not dog friendly and we can minimize interaction.
