Tucked away at the end of a no-through road in the rural heart of the three counties you will find our farm and our three cosy hideaways. Welcome to 'Buzzard' an Igluhut from Estonia. This is luxury glamping at it’s best. A hand crafted wooden space for a revitalising break. Inside you will be wrapped in feather like slats of aspen which curve, dome like into the recesses. With a double bed, soft cotton sheets, a shower, toilet and small kitchenette, you have everything you need inside the Iglu.

The space
Buzzard is sited in a beautiful location overlooking farmland towards the Malvern Hills. Behind the hut is our old dairy and farmyard where we house a few hundred dairy cows so expect a fully authentic farm aroma.

Buzzard is named after the magnificent bird of prey frequently sited in the fields and lanes around our farm and it's dark brown plumage that is reflected in the dark eben tone of the exterior wood shingles.

Buzzard is situated within a newly planted English Woodland (only planted winter 2019) at the centre of farm life. During the day you will hear the bustle of farm life; animals being fed, lambing, calving, tractors scraping up or harvesting. At night you will be enveloped by a huge sky and hear the hooting of Barn and Little Owls and the odd moo or baa as the animals settle down for the night. While at the centre of farm life you will experience a great sense of remoteness and peace at being far away from the world.

Our Iglu Hut Buzzard arrived at Nash End Farm on 13th March 2019 having been newly crafted in Estonia by Iglucraft.

Please enquire about bringing children and we are no longer taking bookings with dogs.

Please also look at our other lisitings on airbnb, a second Iglu Hut and a Shepherd Hut all listed as Nash End Farm Hideaway. During the warmer months with also offer camping.

Where you’ll be

Eldersfield, England, United Kingdom

Situated at the centre of our 315 acre farm you will have unlimited access to the surrounding countryside (please follow the country code). You will find a map in the hut which will show existing footpaths and suggested walking routes from the hut, ideal spots to pause for a picnic or to take in the spectacular views across all of the three counties which have inspired so many of our countries musicians, artists, writers.
If walking is your thing you are only a 10 minute drive to the Malvern Hills and if previously arranged Rosalind or Chris will ferry you to the start line and collect you from the finish line to enable you to walk this spectacular landscape.
We are 4 miles from a single carriage road which allows this sense of seclusion however, will find yourself to be 20 minutes to Tewkesbury with it’s medieval streets and Abbey, 30 minutes to Cheltenham which is a fantastic shopping experience amid the Regency facades. Smaller towns abound with Ledbury and Malvern all within a 20 minute drive with their tea and craft shops. For those with a particular interest in the county towns of the 3 counties with their stunning Norman cathedrals and medical streets, you will find yourselves within easy reach of each being 20 minutes from Gloucester, 40 minutes Worcester 35 minutes Hereford.
Eating Out
Only a mile from the hut on foot you will find 2 great places to eat. The Butchers Arms Eldersfield, is renowned locally as a great place to stop off for a pint with its low ceilings and small seasonal menu for which they have been awarded a Michelin star. Corse Lawn House Hotel, a wonderfully characterful old country house with a smart restaurant for formal dining or a bistro for a more cosy informal experience. Both are seriously good dining experiences. You can walk to both of these, or cycle.
If you are looking for a simple local pub, there are a lot of options but you will need to get in the car.
Eating In
We are passionate about using local produce and want to make it easy for you to cook local produce in the hut. You can get a list of where to buy local produce from Rosalind, or ask her to source it for you (this will incur an additional cost). However if you want to keep things simple and order from your usual online supermarket, all have previously delivered here.

When I first visited my partners family farm 12 years ago I was struck by how remote it feels when you arrive and once I moved into the farm a year or so later I had a feeling that I wanted to be able to share the space with others seeking a piece of English Countryside and the peace and quiet we enjoy at Nash End Farm. Once the dairy herd was sold Chris and I began thinking of how we would diversify (weirdly I wrote my GCSE geography project on the topic of farming diversification although I do not come from a farming background). We had always loved looking at the different accommodation types when at countryside shows and when visiting the 3 Counties show June 2013 we decided to take a leap of faith and purchase a Shepherd's Hut. We have just installed our second hut. The Iglu Hut and are now welcoming our first guests. It is so cosy and warm and lovely being enveloped in the soft wood tones. Chris and I really enjoy sharing our space with our lovely Airbnb visitors and we hope to welcome you soon to enjoy English Countryside at it's best (if that doesn't sound too braggy...)
