Lakeside cabin on pristine Diamond Lake in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest area just outside of Cable, Wisconsin. The Birkebeiner cross country ski trail and scores of other mountain biking, hiking, and snowmobiling trails are close by plus other public recreation opportunities (hunting, snowshoeing, bird watching, etc) abound in the nearby National Forest lands. Several other lakes, including Lake Namekagon and Lake Owen, are nearby for your boating and fishing pleasure.

The space includes the entire lakeside cabin, boathouse, and dock area. Ample outside vehicle parking is readily available on the premises as needed.

Peaceful and beautiful lakeside community, a mix of full time and vacation only residents and cabins with much forest and wildlife in between Lake quiet time (no skiing or jet skiing) from 6pm-10am each day. The lake community appreciates their privacy and quiet, please be aware and respectful of this.
No hunting is allowed on any private land in or around the cabin area. This cabin rental does not include rights to hunt on the hosts private land or access nearby public hunting land (e.g. Chequamegon National Forest) by traveling over the host private land. Nearby public land is open to pubic hunting and should only be accessed from public roads or other permissible access point available to the general public.

We are married with 4 grown children. Kathleen enjoys walking/hiking, reading, quilting and many kinds of crafts. Ray is retired from 3M and enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors in general. We enjoy visiting our children who are currently in Tennessee, Wisconsin, California, and Texas. We also have 3 beautiful grandchildren!
