Nob Hill is a top destination in San Francisco, attributed to its numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, boutiques, cultural institutions, art galleries, and historic landmarks.

Within a walk of a mile you have access to grocery stores including Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s but you are also steps from the cable car at California and Powell Street station where you can get on for a ride to go grocery shopping. You may also catch a ride to the Financial District, home to the renown TransAmerica Pyramid building, among other skyscrapers that dominate the Bay Area’s business center skyline. The district of SOMA, South of Market Street, is home to the San Francisco offices of many big technology companies including: Google, Twitter, Airbnb, Pinterest and the Salesforce HQ. Take a five-minute walk for the local shops at Union Square including: Macy’s, Nordstrom, Tiffany & Co., CHANEL, and Warby Parker.

Nob Hill is also home to the Fairmont San Francisco, a beautiful old hotel with the popular Tiki bar, the Tonga Room. Have a drink and listen to music at the Top of the Mark at the Intercontinental Mark Hopkins Hotel, which has incredible views of San Francisco. Grace Cathedral, with gothic architecture, can also be explored on top of Nob Hill.

Pick-up the BART train at the Powell Street or the Montgomery Street stations for access to the San Francisco Airport in under fourteen stops.
