Persephone is a lovely traditional stone house with a generous courtyard covered with beautiful plants and a covered dining area with climbing flowers. The interiors are impeccable, and the bed and linen of a very high quality. Demetris and his family understand hospitality - everything is here for you, and particularly there is a v well stocked kitchen with everything you’d need for cooking and bbq-ing. I heartily recommend and want to come back!

We had wonderful week staying at Persephone House in October 2017. The location is fantastic - Pentakomo is a traditional Cypriot village, quiet and peaceful, but with 2 excellent tavernas, a cafe and a local grocery shop. The house itself is lovely, with a lot of character and history, and for 2 people a great amount of space. It was very clean and had all the amenities and more that we needed. On arrival, Demetris's father Stephanos met us at the house late in the evening and was extremely welcoming and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. We spent many evenings in the 2 local tavernas (Iris and Dragons Nest) and both were excellent in terms of the quality of food, value for money and hospitality. Iris in particular and its charismatic owner Demitris is not to be missed! The village is ideally situated for day trips, with easy access to the motorway, so the main towns and cities are no more than an hours drive away. We would highly recommend Persephone House and hope to return one day soon!

We had a great stay at Demetris's place. It is only a short drive from Governors Beach . . . where we spent most of our holiday. Demetris and his dad were great at communicating beforehand and arranging things . . . they made sure we arrived safely and explained everything to us about the apartment. Effortless. Local tavernas are good and have enough variety for the week.

This house is a dream! It's not only in a beautiful place (the village is very lively and has a couple of lovely tavernas) but has everything to make it comfy, easy and incredibly pleasant. It's beautifully decorated and it covers every single detail. The garden is also a plus. Stephano's welcome was fantastic! We loved the conversation and Manoli was also very cool. We surely recommend it. It made our holiday just perfect!

Demetris' place is absolutely wonderful, and possible the best value I have ever had on airbnb. It's like having a whole farmhouse to yourself. The place is so spacious and yet it's cosy and beautifully decorated with traditional and historic pieces from the nearby villages of Cyprus. Pentakomo itself is a very traditional Greek mountain village with a couple of fantastic tavernas where you can get equally fantastic meze made with local produce. It's also less than a five minute drive from Governor's beach which comes highly recommended for those keen to escape the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of the island.

Everything was perfect! The house is charming and very well kept. The terrace is amazing. Hosts are very helpful . But the most interesting part of it is that this traditional stone house is located in a village that still lives at the pace of the sixties. All the social life revolves around the "taberna" situated in the heart of the village, just opposite the little church. The inhabitants welcome you with a true smile on their face and you soon feel part of the picture . And the food is amazing. the village is ideally located between Larnaca and Limassol. So, easy to travel east or west. In a nutshell, a must do!!! Thank you Demetris and Stephanos !!!
