When we are there in our locked off area, we are happy to help you with what you need as far as advice, recommendations, whatever makes you comfortable; so please feel free to contact us.
Other things to note
For the past 15 years, I have worked as a BnB manager for several local and out-of-state BnB's. The owners of the BnB's have been pleased with my efforts and can attest to my professionalism and desire to provide clean, comfy, pleasant accomodations. That is why, at my own home, I can assure you that the bedding, decor, and household have been put together in consideration of you. I hope you'll be happy, and I welcome you and your comments - both about things you liked and things you'd like to have improved.
You can imagine how much work it is to clean the house and yard to prepare for the next guests coming, usually the same day you depart, so please put things back where you found them, like the furniture and clean dishes. It helps immensely if you will place the sheets and used towels beside the wash machine, and take out your trash to the garbage bin. Thank you!
- This is a smoke-free facility. Smoking of any substance indoors will result in an extra cleaning fee and the loss of your damage deposit. If you must smoke, we have a firepit in the front yard for you to sit by. :)
Speaking of the firepit, please feel welcome to use it to roast hotdogs, marshmallows, etc., or just relax by a cozy fire in the evening. It is VERY important that when you are finished with the fire, that you douse it with water and make sure all coals are completely out. One nice gust of wind can bring the fire back to life, and cause a forest fire! We have an outdoor spigget with a coal bucket for you to fill with water to quench the firepit. One important thing for you to know is whether there are fire bans in the area; so before you start a camp fire, be sure to check with the area Chamber of Commerce, forest service, or (URL HIDDEN)
- Well behaved, potty trained dogs are welcome. Please do not leave your dog unattended at anytime, whether inside or outside.
- You can imagine how much work is involved with getting the whole house and yard back in order and cleaned, especially if other guests are arriving the same day you leave! So, for checking out, please put things back where you found them: furniture, clean dishes, flashlights, reset clocks. It helps us immensely if you would please take sheets & pillow cases to the washer, as well as the towels you've used, and put a load of white only towels in to wash. Also, please bag up your trash and put the regular garbage in the trash bin outside, and the recycling in the bag on the back porch by the bathroom.
- Thank you so much for choosing to stay at our Cozy Log Home Hideaway!
