About this listing
My place is in a historical building in Alfama, with view to River Tejo, close to Panteão and the flea market feira da ladra. It is 5 minutes from S.Apolonia train station and metro, 15 min walk to the city center. Though the attic is close to small restaurants, Fado places and cafes, it is calm and silent. The rooms are light flooded and the view to the river is special, you will enjoy the special light of this city and its various reflections on the water.
The view of the river is the most striking aspect of the Art Attic.
The Art Attic is an independent apartment not my living place - though I live in the same quarter in walking distance - I will be there, if you need any help
Interaction with guests
I will happily try to help my guests, being available via mobile.
Other things to note
The Art Attic is an attic and as shown on the photos - it has inclination. It is a typical old Portuguese house, not suited for tall people - sorry, but better to know - than being unhappy later
- the studio is a historic building from the 18.century with a small staircase. It has no lift and is not suited for people with motoric limitation. Due to the old building structure the space is not recommended for very tall people. The attic has a small staircase, which could be dangerous for a small child.

I am a German artist living in Lisbon. I worked and lived in different countries, but Lisbon is special to me. The light and the river, the decaying charme of the city are always a great inspiration for me. I always hosted people in my homes in Italy, India and China. I love to share ideas and to inspire people. Whatever your interest will be, I will try to help you to find it here in Lisbon. My art attic shall be a home for everyone I will host. Connecting with other artist or art interested people is a great pleasure for me. The beauty of Lisbon and also of my place can only be found in the small things, in the little details, which make the big difference.
