Comfy bed for better sleep

The room-darkening blinds and extra bedding are loved by guests.
Our basement with private keypad entry in Toronto's tree-lined West End is ideal for tourists or folks coming to the city to work. It was completely renovated in early 2025 with a 1950s vintage travel vibe you'll love. Brand new bathroom, full separate bedroom with queen size bed (ENDY mattress), TV, desk, plus living area with fireplace & sofa bed. There is also a kitchenette/laundry. 3 min walk to Jane subway. Ceiling 6'5" with 1 lower beam. We live upstairs--the unit is noise insulated.

The space
We also have a detached, 4-season studio that is available for business travellers or writers who need to get some work done or hold a small group meeting. Arrangements for this can be made by messaging me.

Guest access
You'll have the entire studio basement suite plus access to the back patio for outdoor dining; 1 parking space can be made available by request. We may have to jockey cars. If you are here for an extended stay, I may request suite access to run a couple of loads of laundry while you're out :)

Other things to note
Once again, this is a perfect unit for individuals or duos that are in Toronto for work, a conference, a special event or to sightsee. Bring your baby or kid too--our twin daughters are 13 and babysitting is often available. We are very friendly and conscientious, and have lots of travel tips + good cheer to welcome you. Talk to us about ordering breakfast or a special meal during your stay. We love to cook!

I'm an author and therapist who loves to travel for work and pleasure. I enjoy art galleries, good food, markets, and getting to know the local scene. My husband, twin 13-year old daughters and I treat other people's homes like our own, which is respectfully--putting everything in its place and keeping it clean and tidy.
