Beautiful small cottage along the shoreline of the Ticouapé River, which is located at the mouth of Lac St-Jean. Peaceful place to observe wildlife and enjoy nature. The cottage provides direct access to the river for canoeing and kayaking. NO Wi-Fi and TV Access to the water does not allow swimming, or rather we do not recommend it, because the site is swampy and the water level varies according to that of Lac St-Jean. The chalet is only 8 km from downtown Saint-Félicien.

Very nice and modern apartment.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Superb three and a half room accommodation, very clean and close to all services. Located in the basement of the family residence and very well lit with large windows. We are a couple with an eleven-year-old boy and you will be very comfortable during your stay with us. Everything is there except air conditioning, but the basement is just right for the temperature it gives off. You can store your bikes safely. Thanks!

We had a great stay at the apartment! It is well located with beautiful views of the fjord from the windows. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The bed was comfortable and the whole place felt homey and peaceful.

Thank you very much for this beautiful stay in Saguenay and the delicate attention to our arrival, the accommodation is very clean, cozy and decorated with great taste. The room faces the courtyard and not the street, it is very quiet. There is a place in front of the accommodation to park, which is very nice when you arrive by car. I recommend this accommodation to discover the Saguenay region and especially to go hiking in the fjords.

When you open the door, the view is magnificent! This spacious apartment is well laid out, with two large bedrooms with extremely clean and comfortable beds, among the best of our Airbnb stays. The kitchen, practical and friendly, offers a large counter and comfortable stools. The EQ3 sofa is very pleasant. Outside, quality wooden chairs and tables allow you to enjoy the splendid Saguenay River. Located close to the Parc de la Rivière-du-Moulin, the Port de Chicoutimi and the multifunctional trail of the old bridge, this place was perfect for lovers of nature and beautiful apartments like us.

Just like in the pictures, the location is stunning. The only drawback was that there were no obvious signs indicating where to take turns, making it quite difficult to locate the place. The staff at Tavata Chalets was really helpful when our car became stuck while attempting to find the Airbnb. They called the towing company and stayed until the problem was resolved. We really wish we had another day to enjoy ourselves, but owing to a few unforeseen events, we were unable to do so. Overall the experience was unforgettable hahah.

The Lac St-Jean cottage (Vauvert sector)

This is an ideal place for a quiet getaway. Everything is exactly as advertised and the property is beautiful and private - tall cedar hedges on both sides guarantee privacy. There are no stores or restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but there are major grocery stores and pharmacies a short drive away - everything you could possibly need. The home itself is immaculate and well equipped, and the host is friendly, proactive (we were late arriving and he called us, concerned that we might be lost), and easy to reach. This was possibly my very best Airbnb experience. Great value for a quiet private escape from the city. Looking forward to returning for a longer stay.
