Thank you Veronique for a lovely stay in Authuile. The apartment was fantastic. Very comfortable and the best equipped place I’ve stayed in France including an excellent range of English books on the region. There was lots of care and attention down to a very kind selection of food and drinks. The location could not be better - less than 10 minutes drive to Albert, easy access to the different areas of the Somme battlefields, memorials and cemeteries- including directly by walking from the door. I walked up to Thiepval via small roads/tracks and also a great circuit up the small road to Ovillers and then down a track to Crucifix Corner near to Blight Valley cemetery and then up a track to Nab valley. The apartment is well equipped if you want to cook but also we ate at the lovely restaurant next to the river.

the whole family has a very strong attraction to welcome visitors: their pleasure to receive reflected in their smiles and horses + succulent breakfast, worthy of a hotel+ great cleanliness+ decoration and fittings of this particularly successful former farmhouse + simplicity! I will go back, I think, and they will continue, they are made for it! from the center of Lille use the TER only very fast

The owners are great - very warm, welcoming and willing to assist where ever possible. We stayed in the original building which sleeps 3 people. The house is fully equipped for a stay, clean and presentable. The kitchen is not of a fitted design but no matter, it functioned as a kitchen should. As the weather was pleasant a BBQ was provided and we were able to use it every night of our stay. As Brits we are not accustomed to taking our own bed linen and towels so be prepared! Also take cash or a French cheque to act as a damage security. We will definitely be returning.

very welcoming host. impeccable accommodation in terms of cleanliness. the spaces are tastefully decorated. very well equipped kitchen. 4 bathrooms plus 1 toilet to satisfy everyone. Peaceful environment. wifi that works very well. we were with 2 families including 6 toddlers. playground in front of the house appreciated by our children. i recommend 100%.

Beautiful place in an old farmhouse, quiet, very good welcome, Odile is a smiling and affable person, very nice room and huge bathroom. I recommend this place without a second thought.

Very pleasant stay, the accommodation is very clean and the bedding very comfortable. Sufficiently equipped to cook and have a good time. A pleasant outdoor area to enjoy the sun. Everything is perfect👍. We'll be back with pleasure if the opportunity arises.

Great stay! We stopped at Ludwig's place before going to La Braderie de Lille. We were welcomed by Gwendoline who is an adorable, caring and very responsive person. What we also liked was the decor of the rooms, a favorite for the Rock room. This is a very charming place with a very nice little courtyard, we will gladly go back. We recommend 1000%!!!

A great stay in a good setting, a self check-in, the cottage is at the back of a well-appointed farmhouse. A little extra: games for children and animals nearby. We'll be happy to go back!

Space, ease and peace The property was more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe, so the surprise was very pleasant. The design is modern and airy. The exceptional communication skiĺls and sincere thoughtfulness of the owner added a lot of ease to our stay and made us feel even more comfortable and welcomed. Finally, the property is located in a very quiet area of the town with a nearby lake. This gave us a feel of relaxation and of a slowed down pace of life. Our family has enjoyed a very lovely time and the kids who had plenty of space to run inside and outside will probably have wonderful memories of this place. We will certainly return and with great pleasure! Thank you very much to Ludiwine and her family ;).

Beautiful guest room in a cozy farmhouse. Dear host. And a delicious breakfast. Very nice bed. The surroundings definitely seem beautiful to me too. But for me, it was only an overnight stay in transit. And get away from the highway.
