Romantic Attic Apartment Overlooking a Gothic Church

Choose a book from a shelf and sink into a red armchair under a peaked ceiling. Striking timber beams and gleaming hardwood floors add warmth and character to this remodeled attic space. An inviting spiral staircase leads to a small landing with a view. The flat offers an elegant entrance hall with large double window overlooking the nearby canal. At upper floor: living room with top quality fully equipped kitchenette, 1 master bedroom with impressive view of Madonna dell’ Orto church front, a second double/twin bedroom, 1 spacious bathroom WC/bidet/ bath/shower, a second WC with hand basin. A decorative spiral staircase leads from the living room to a small roof balcony overlooking the picturesque canal in front of the house. The apartment is provided with good WIFI CONNECTION, AIR CONDITIONING and MOSQUITO SCREENS in any room CASA ZORZI is recommended both for romantic escapes and for family holidays. I use to welcome personally my guests, spending some time on arrival to recommend my favourite places in town....... The apartment is also provided with good reference books useful to plan and enjoy a stay in Venice. The Apartment is located on the quieter side of the truly Venetian Cannaregio District. The house is beside the magnificent Madonna dell' Orto Gothic church, containing cherished treasures including Tintoretto masterpieces. It is 15 minutes away from Rialto bridge. It is very easy and comfortable to reach by public transport either you arrive from Marco Polo airport or from the Train Station, with no bridge to cross with your luggage between the nearest waterbus stop and the apartment. A City stay tax of € 4,00 per day /per person ( € 2,00 for 10/16 children, excluding children up to 10) is due up to max 5 days.

Incantevole appartamento arredato in tipico stile veneziano - soggiorno con ampio affaccio sul Canale / Rio della Madonna dell'Orto . Si accede attraverso un bellissimo giardino condominiale. L'approdo per vaporetti motoscafi per i collegamenti verso la stazione ferroviaria aeroporto, isole Murano Burano Lido di Venezia etc si trova solo 7 minuti a piedi dall'abitazione. Recently-restored AIR-CONDITIONED bright apt with gorgeous wooden beams in the middle of charming Cannaregio district. You will find all modern amenities, sapiently mixed with a Venetian flavor. Perfect location, 10-min walking distance from the train station, few steps away from public boat transport, local restaurants (not tourist traps) and bars. IMP: the apt is on the top (4th floor, great view and no mold) of a building WITHOUT ELEVATOR. Extra fee for check-ins after 8 pm (see below)

Peoco flat: a sunny nest, full of character

Quite fascinating space, due to a tasteful refurbishing, where each detail has been carefully designed. It Is on the second floor, under the roof beams, of a small building situated right behind the main street “ Strada nuova” . Bright, confortable, cosy and quiet. Has windows on 2 sides and overlooks roofs, a canal and an open area. At 1 min walk there are 2 supermarkets, many food shops, restaurants, pizzerie, wine bars…you could not expect more. Two waterbus stops are at 2/5 min walk.

Die Wohnung von Silvia ist wirklich schön und hat ein tolles großes Bad. Die Lage der Wohnung ist ebenfalls super. Obwohl in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft Restaurants und Cafes sind, ist es ab dem späteren Abend sehr ruhig. Vom Flughafen aus würden wir die Station Madonna dell‘orto empfehlen, von dort aus braucht es max. 5-10 Minuten und man ist an der Wohnung. Nach Rücksprache mit Silvia war es auch möglich ein wenig eher einzuchecken. Alles in allem war es ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Würden die Wohnung wieder nehmen.

El departamento está ubicado en Cannaregio, una zona muy tranquila y hermosa de Venecia, alejada del bullicio turístico. Se respira un aire fresco y se puede apreciar la vida cotidiana de los venecianos. Está muy cerca de una estación de vaporetto y del supermercado Conad, lo que facilita las compras diarias. Es perfecto para descansar y además conocer Venecia de verdad. Me encantó, ¡sin duda volvería con gusto! Alessandra y Moina fueron muy amables y siempre dispuestas a ayudar en todo lo necesario. Y Othello, el gato, es una bella y tranquila mascota que hace la estancia aún más acogedora.

We absolutely loved our stay at this airbnb on our honeymoon! It was close enough to the train station and all the major sites, but quiet, peaceful and serene. We absolutely loved our little balcony and the massive windows overlooking the canal. All of the amenities were top notch, including lights, sound system, and heating/air control by an ipad. The two showers were like stepping into a spa shower. The kitchen amenities were modern and beautiful and we enjoyed our complimentary prosecco so much! Would absolutely stay here again. The hosts also helped to arrange water transport to the train station so we didn't have to pull our luggage up and down all the bridges. They also gave some great recommendations for food that we took advantage of during our visit.
