We spent a wonderful Christmas in Barbel’s place. A wonderfully clean and warm house with everything needed for a cosy winter stay. The pool went unused but we will try to come back in the summer - the view is spectacular! Beds were super comfortable and Barbel quick on the replies and checked regularly to make sure we were okay and had no issues. Car obviously necessary but Montelparo only a few minutes away with a nice pizzeria and other amenities.

This is the most beautiful place with incredible surroundings. So very peaceful and every detail has been thoughtfully planned. You could easily spend a week relaxing and exploring the area. The mountains and river below are amazing and the view from the rooftop is breathtaking. The owner brought us a basket of fresh fruits and tomatoes to enjoy- so very kind and special. We hope to come back here soon!!!!

What a wonderful find. Lucia’s place is at cellar level, thus being cool relative to very high June temperatures. (34 degrees C the day we arrived). The property is rustic with beautiful ceiling and floor design. It is tastefully furnished with all you need to prepare a meal. Lucia and Giovanni met us on arrival and provided comprehensive information. Parking is off road and private and walking into Ascoli takes 10-15 minutes. We only had 2 nights, but could have easily stayed longer. Well worth a visit.

A top quality apartment with gorgeous furniture, beautifully designed kitchen and bathrooms and a view out to the main Piazza that can’t be beat! The perfect location for walking the city and directly next to fabulous restaurants.

Giorgio’s place was fantastic. His mom and dad greeted us upon arrival and showed us around the property. He has everything inside to make you feel like you’re at home. The view is amazing from the patio which we ate our breakfast from everyday. The restaurants are a couple of minutes walk and the grocery store is about a 10 minute walk too. It is a very quiet location and being on the fourth floor it’s even better. There are 73 stairs to climb to get to the room, which will help burn a few calories after you’ve eaten a large meal from one of the restaurants nearby. Parking can be challenging if there is a function in the town. We had to park by the grocery store one night but it was not a problem. We had a great stay and hope to come again every year! excellent hospitality from Michela and co-host Gianni who helped us take conscious possession of the house and useful outdoor spaces. varied and numerous supply of bathroom and kitchen materials for consumption excellent operation of gas, electricity, H2O heating view of the Sibillini chain, Mount Piselli and Gran Sasso very quiet area with excellent air and base for excursions to Mount Sibilla, Lake Pilato, the Infernaccio gorges, the hermitage of San Leonardo, and visit to the Sanctuary of Madonna dell'Ambro, etc. possibility of using the swimming pool for adults and children about 700 ml. from the house (for a fee, currently 8 euros) overall a great life experience in a very well-kept house and enjoyable. My friend and I only had a short 3 night stay at Cellino Attanasio but it felt like so much longer! Time slows down when you arrive allowing you to really switch off and relax. The rooms were absolutely pristine in every way and recently renovated to a very high spec. Pierpaolo was lovely and so accommodating, he recommended places to eat and towns to visit. He was always on hand whenever we needed to ask him anything. Overall we couldn’t recommend Cellino Attanasio enough, we can’t fault it at all!

The apartment is beautifully situated in a big garden with great big pool. Cecilia is a fantastic host. She takes care of her guests and is always very reserved. The equipment of the apartment is perfect, the rooms large and very tastefully decorated. There were four of us and that was a great fit. The area is not only perfect for hiking but also for mountain and gravel bikers.
