Cottage holiday rentals in Richmond County

We booked super last minute so we could stay longer in town to visit my grandparents - we were beyond pleased with our stay! We had asked the host if there was any stores near by as we weren’t familiar with the area just to grab the kids some hot dogs but nothing was close nor near by and the host actually came down with hot dogs, buns and ketchup for my kids! Such a sweet gesture!!! The cabin was adorable - above expectation! Will definitely book again!

We spent our 10th wedding anniversary here and it was exactly what we needed and wanted. The deck overlooks the beautiful harbour- we were able to relax and enjoy watching the fishing boats coming in, many sea birds and song birds , even a pair of eagles who made their appearance several times. The wharf was wonderful as well, I read my book while my husband even dove off a couple of times - and the water was refreshing after a long hot tub soak (and easily accessible for a cold plunge.) We really enjoyed the kayaks and exploring the nearby beaches and even a little island. The house was exactly as described - just like my grandmothers house, with cool trinkets and knick knacks. The nostalgia was appreciated. Very clean, lots of towels and beds were comfy. No shortage of cooking supplies / cutlery or dishes either.

This place is amazing. If you, just like me, are looking for a place where you can dive into the depths of your inner world and enjoy the harmony of nature, beauty, fresh air, peace, and quiet, then you need to visit the cottage in Saint Esprit. The owner, Liana, and her care and hospitality are at the highest level — tips, suggestions, and responses to requests are always timely and tactful. Feedback is fast and accurate. I give the highest rating and look forward to a new opportunity to return there again.

Beautiful location and beautiful cottage. Pristine condition and everything a person needs to settle in. We came prepared with our own items but they have provided many things. It is set up to have an experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Get some lobster and relax!

Situated meters from the water, our cabin was a perfect couples get away. Thoughtfully appointed, extremely clean and above all very private. Although there are a couple of cabins on the property, there never was a time where we felt the presence of others. The hot tub privacy and views are amazing, and our hostess was very responsive. Above all, definitely a stay we want to do again. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to experience a natural and private couples retreat.

Our stay was fantastic! The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We had to check in at their charming pub nearby, which caught my eye with its beautiful exterior. It was undergoing renovations and we couldn’t dine in, but the hosts kindly offered us takeout. The food was delicious, and they even hand-delivered it to our Airbnb, which was a nice touch! The view from the cottage was amazing, and nothing beats enjoying it from the hot tub. I have no complaints at all! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway.

We really enjoyed staying here - it was peaceful, secluded and had really beautiful surroundings. Liane was very responsive, really helpful and always polite and friendly in her communication but otherwise the hosts gave us privacy and space. We loved spending time in the spa late at night; the landscaping and lighting made it very atmospheric and relaxing. We also really enjoyed the fire pit and BBQ, and walking through the woods and nearby St Esprit beach. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. I couldn't recommend this place more if you are looking for somewhere quiet and peaceful to spend a few days. It's also only a 25 minute drive to Saint Peters if you are looking for shops and restaurants. Our only complaint was that the weather wasn't good enough for us to take the kayaks out for the first couple of days, but sadly no-one can change the weather and it was a good excuse to sit by the fire pit instead!

Le chalet est super bien situé au bout d'une pointe de terre avec une vue magnifique sur le lac et un aménagement qui laisse croire qu'on l'a pour nous toutes seules. Nous y étions seulement une nuit, pour le travail, mais nous y reviendrons pour nos vacances! L'internet était suffisant pour travailler à distance, tourt en profitant du calme des environs. Très confortable et absolument impeccable au niveau de la propreté, ce chalet est l'endroit idéal pour se ressourcer. Enfin, les petites touches spéciales de Corinna ont rendu ce séjour tout spécialement agréable et relaxant.

The Blue Heron cottage was a very comfortable place to stay. The water-view was spectacular. We have been to Cape Breton before, but this time decided to explore Isle Madame - beautiful area and the location of the cottage was just perfect for us.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We found the cottage went above and beyond our expectations for what an Airbnb is these days. It was beautiful but comfortable, so many nooks to the house and property to relax.

Marion's place is absolutely beautiful, the cottage is set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Everything was so clean and it was refreshing entering the cottage. It had everything you needed and I can't wait to return soon!!

The place was beautiful and scenic. Julian was a great host and was readily available for any inquiries. The beach was just a 5 min walk away. I would recommend this place 10/10.
