We enjoyed our time staying at Kadek's place during our trip to Ubud. He is friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The place was comfortable in a good location. Getting around was easy. The house was in a beautiful traditional setting which was nice. Breakfast was included which was nice to have while enjoying a view of the greenery next to the outdoor area. I would recommend staying here.

This was the last place we stayed in Bali and it was by far our favorite place. Not only is the accommodation phenomenal and beautiful, with a great view of the waterfall from the rooms, but it has a tree-house feel and is so unique. We saw a lot of wildlife, but were never pestered by anything (bugs, geckos, etc weren't a bother). But importantly, the staff were the kindest, most helpful and most accommodating staff that we had experienced in Bali. We enjoyed every meal that we had in the restaurant, and the staff are lovely to visit with. There are several recommended activities, where transportation was arranged. We have already recommended our friends and family to stay here, if they visit Bali. Thank you, Gumi Ayu! ♡

Hand down I love this place. When I come back to Bali I will defiantly book this place for my entire stay of a week for holiday. I will tell my friends about this place as well

Warren is a very nice host, he is friendly, and very helpful if you want to learn more about this part of Bali. His family is also very kind. You get a very nice jungle experience at this place. You have beautiful nature and also very incredible waterfalls!

Thanks Udi for having me at your place. It was so beautiful and I cannot wait to book it again. It was just what I needed for a peaceful couple of nights in Ubud. There are cafe’s, spas and marts in walking distance as well as restaurants. The breakfast was perfect, everyone was polite and helpful and very welcoming. It is just outside of the main part of Ubud which you need to get transport to get to. Luckily there’s a taxi bay right outside Udi’s place. Thanks again

A great place to stay. We slept one night in the bird's nest and one night in a normal room. An adventure that you absolutely must experience. The complex is incredibly beautifully laid out, the staff are super nice and the pick-up service on the first day worked without any problems. You are a bit outside the city and the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but you can easily walk to all the sights with a short walk. Our tip: definitely try the breakfast and book a massage. We can only recommend the place:)

I had a wonderful and peaceful stay. The bed was so comfortable, the room overall so comfortable and WiFi worked perfectly. The shower was a little hard to regulate temp sometimes but not any major issue at all. Great pool. Extremely welcoming and accommodating staff - a huge thanks to Suci who made sure I was comfortable and gave me fantastic recommendations. I mostly walked (about 15 mins) to get coffee at Livingstones (great, buzzing, popular place for coffee and food) or otherwise got a taxi bike as it is a little bit of a walk to get to the main areas - but again - no issue at all. The hotel is just lovely. Felt right at home. Actually missed it from my next hotel I went to and almost went back! Great stay!!

The place is quite unique and magical. We loved the design and jungle view, sounds. The stuff is very helpful, there is daily cleaning, change of towels on demand. There is AC, toothbrush, toiletries. Very quiet, we could take part in yoga class, use sauna or flower bath - for extra fee. A note: this room had windows with holes, for those who don’t like to feel the wind (or with cold) might be unpleasant. We had a wonderful experience and would come back if had a chance!

I unfortunately had a motorbike accident during my stay here and I truly cannot thank the ladies that work here enough. I was bed bound for a few days and they kept checking on me, bringing me food and water and giving me a hug when I needed it. they were honestly the most loveliest people and stopped me feeling quite so alone! The place is beautiful, the rooms just like the pictures and the minute you are there it felt just like home and a very relaxing atmosphere, as a solo traveller, I felt totally safe, but it us truly the people that work here who just make it. They truly are the best- wayan, Nyoman, Astii, and all the other staff- you are angels. Thank you for taking such good care of me 😁 The host was also very responsive when I contacted her. I had a pick up arranged from the airport and that all went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again in the future

Great stay at this hotel in a great location. The hotel is super clean, the pool is reserved for only two rooms. Very welcoming staff and there is a laundry service. I would recommend it

Everything was good , however felt a bit overpriced for the location. There were some ants in the room (which might be ok?) and a small lizard in the bathroom.

This villa was amazing and very accommodating! The staff was very helpful and friendly! I wasn’t expecting the service that we received, so that was a nice bonus. Great breakfast and the pictures were exactly how it looked in person. Room was very clean. The only thing to complain about is that we got a message at the villa and was not very good, for the price. They were talking and laughing the entire time of the massage, and cut it short because they showed up late, and also was just not great.

Nice place to stay in Ubud. Central, but still comparatively quiet location. A lot of gastronomy right next door. Junek has allowed us to attend a ceremony at Kuningan and lent us the necessary amenities. 100% recommendation.

Loved this place, stayed for 2 weeks! Room was bigger than photos, staff are always on site and clean the room everyday, so kind. It’s just tucked behind a restaurant so peaceful enough but walkable to a lot of great restaurant and shops.

I stayed for 2 nights at the Asmara Villa with a private pool inside Samanvaya Luxury Resort and wow… what an experience! I’ve been visiting Bali for the past 5 years, and I can confidently say that Samanvaya is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Everything looks and feel high quality and brand new, and the attention to detail is amazing. Makes you feel immerse in the local culture. One of our favorite spots were the Bathtub, pool and the living room area. Sidemen is 100% worth visiting—the peace and tranquility you feel here is something you don’t find in many places in Bali. The locals are incredibly friendly, and the culture here feels like the true essence of Bali. A huge thanks to Ari, Purna, Tami, and Diah for making my stay even more special. I really hope to come back soon!

The views are amazing and all rooms are well-designed to allow guests to enjoy the views from the balconies without disturbing each other. Common places also clean and cozy. The buildings/interiors are well-maintained, good water pressure and hot water in bathroom. Unlimited drinking water and a kettle in the room. Probably it depends on the season, but take into account it's rather windy there and ocean waves sound will always be present, house soundproofing won't help. Breakfasts are a bit limited.

Had an amazing week stay. The staff are extremely helpful and lovely. I especially like the area it’s in - private with a beautiful view aswel as walk/ drive around the rice terraces to the main road. The pool was lovely. There are bugs because of the area but the rooms are regularly swept and cleaned. The blinds outside were unfortunately broken so couldn’t pull all way up but other than that beautiful area and place.

The Ubud Center and accessibility are so good, and it's super clean. The garden is well maintained. Other than not being able to contact the host, I was very satisfied with the accommodation. Jana was very friendly and delightful

Our stay at this hotel was just perfect. The room was thoughtfully equipped, with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, and had a great view of the communal pool. The place is a haven of peace. Even if the spaces are shared, there is a serene and respectful atmosphere: here people come to reconnect with nature. Quiet is ubiquitous. The staff was exceptional, always listening to our various requests and ready to do everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Just by the poolside, the restaurant offers both traditional dishes and more European options, in order to satisfy all tastes. Located in the heart of farmland, the environment invites walks and a breath of fresh air. And the view of the mountains is just breathtaking. We leave with only positive things in mind. The word “perfect” really reflects our experience here.
