We recently had the most wonderful summer break staying at this lovely, peaceful cottage in Melby. From the moment we walked in the front door, we felt ourselves relax. The cottage is beautifully decorated, kitchen is super well equipped and the beds are very comfortable - easily sleeping our 2 families. Outside, we loved using the pool, snoozing in the hammock and eating on the expansive deck in front of the outdoor fireplace. The cottage is a 10-15min walk to a pretty local beach and a short drive (or bike ride) to the pretty Liseleje Beach. Lots of fantastic restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Christian and Pernille were brilliant hosts - easy to communicate with, always responsive and gave us great tips on what to see and do in the area. Thanks for a truly fabulous stay!

We spent a wonderful week at Bryans place with our three kids, who just learned or were abour to learn how to swim. Because the large pool was heated we couldnt get them out of the water, it was amazing. Since the garden had big hedges all around and a sunny terrasse it was just the perfect place to relax and feel comfortable. The house itfelf is gorgeous, since it is actually someones home it is lovely decorated and especially the kitchen misses nothing, which really sets it apart from "tourist only" places. Bryan was always extremely friendly, answered every question and made everything very easy and smooth. Veddelev itself is very nice and quiet, you can walk to a little beach with a pier, the water there is clean and shallow at first, which is again, very kids-friendly. All in all we had a great holiday and hope to visit again soon.

Rigtig fint sommerhus med pool, som især var et hit hos børnene. Brian var god at kommunikere med og sørgede for, at der var styr på det hele.

Dejligt sommerbolig i Rørvig Park. Huset er velindrettet og er lige så flot som på billederne. Der er tre rummelige soveværelser med gode senge. Lys opholdsstue og rummeligt køkkenalrum. Det er let at kommunikere med Dorthe og vi fik hurtigt svar på vores spørgsmål. Vi vil gerne komme tilbage.

Vielen Dank für alles. Es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert. Wir haben uns sehr über den Willkommenswein und den bereits vorgeheizten Whirlpool gefreut. Es war alles gemütlich und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Da kann man über die - vorher kommunizierte - Baustelle hinwegsehen (die Terrasse ist noch in der Renovierungsphase). Vielleicht kommen wir wieder. Es war für die Hochzeit unseres Sohnes genau das richtige

A lovely and cozy house. Everything is well thought out and very convenient (though a coat rack at the entrance would have been helpful, but we managed). It’s great that pets are allowed—we stayed here for New Year’s so our dogs could have a break from fireworks. There really weren’t many fireworks around. Thanks!

Wir waren 1 Woche in der Unterkunft von Rikke und Andreas. Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet in Sorø. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und somit war vieles super erreichbar. Es war super ausgestattet. in der Küche beispielsweise mangelte es an nichts. Es war auch viel Spielzeug vorhanden (Unser Sohn war begeistert) Das Highlight waren natürlich der beheizte Pool & Jacuzzi. Zusammen mit Grill und einigen Outdoor Spielsachen die perfekte Mischung für alle. Auch die Betten waren sehr bequem. Im Hauptschlafzimmer sogar mit Boxspringbett und Kinderzimmer mit Hochbett. Die Kommunikation war auch super. Rikke & Andreas haben sehr zeitnah geantwortet. Alles in Allem können wir die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

The house is spotless, light and airy, lots of places to sit / lay / relax, extremely well stocked with every kitchen utensil and spice / herb you could ever need. The bedding and pillows were brand new and all linen / cloths / tablecloths fresh and clean. It was so noticeable that huge care and attention goes into their home. From the sunroom you can play one of the boardgames and admire the sunset. Or marvel at hares as they run along the lane. Within minutes of arrival our children were welcomed to use their play area and zip line. An invitation to join Peter fishing was gratefully accepted. He taught my boys how to lure fish for Hornfish, (they caught one which he gutted for us, along with some others he’d caught). We ate them for lunch with a bucketful of shrimp he’d netted for us that morning. Sea to table. What a joy! Peter and Kisser are wonderful people. Their kindness will never be forgotten, and their love of their island has rubbed off on us. A special stay!

Martin’s place is worth your time. And your time is worth anything. The natural environment will make it seem to stand still. Relax in the garden, pick some herbs for your evening meal. The street is only for some local traffic, so really quiet. From Martin’s place, you can take small trips to the little hamlets to the north, or you can just take the highway to wherever you like. A day to Copenhagen or Malmö? Easy. Or get an ice cream on Enø. The house itself breathes previous farming life, it’s just lovely. You will want to spend your time here.

Great stay after a long flight and jumping off point before visiting Copenhagen. Able to relax, get rest, and walk on the beach.. which was a short walk from the house.

We found the house in Greve to be beautiful and relaxing. Lots of wonderful views, easy access to the beach, not far from the S-Bahn (with free parking), so easy to get to the city center. Only got food in Greve once, but that was pretty good (pizza).

Vi havde de dejligste dage i Ronja's smukke hus ✨ Huset er indrettet smukt og der er alt, hvad du har brug for. Vi elskede at drikke kaffe i haven imens vi nød de grønne, rolige omgivelser. Ronja svarede på spørgsmål med det samme og vi følte os fuldstændig trygge hele opholdet igennem. Køkkenet er skønt og så har huset den flotteste seng, jeg nogensinde har sovet i! 🥰

Das Haus ist traumhaft schön! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das war Urlaub in der Natur. Auf der Terrasse in der Sonne sitzen, einen leckeren Cappuccino trinken und den unzähligen Vögeln lauschen - so kann der Tag beginnen. Es gibt W-Lan, die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, die Betten sind bequem, der Kaminofen sorgt für eine gemütliche Wärme, das Meer ist quasi nebenan und Ausflüge sind auch möglich (z.B. Kopenhagen in 1.5 Stunden). Für uns war es der perfekte Ort! Das sehen übrigens auch unsere beiden Töchter (12/14) so. Was ebenfalls super war, war die Kommunikation mit Tessa! Extrem nett, schnell und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank dafür und für eine wunderbare Zeit in eurem Haus, Tessa! Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We spent a wonderful weekend at Zenia’s beautiful place 🌞 Everything was incredibly cozy, well-equipped, and just overall had everything you might need to spend some relaxing days close to the sea 🌊 Zenia was also super friendly and always replied quickly to messages. We’ll hopefully be back! 🥰

Mooi oud Deens boerderijtje op het platteland, met een goede supermarkt op 5 km afstand. Voor leuke restaurants moet je echt wel wat verder rijden. Dicht bij het fjord, mooi om te fietsen en wandelen. De keuken is zeer volledig uitgerust, er is zelfs een airfryer, oven, magnetron maar ook goede messen, keukengerei, alles om een goede maaltijd te bereiden De slaapkamer is prima, fijne bedden en goed beddengoed. De badkamer is een beetje oud en klein, maar volop warm water en alles werkt, dus prima Dorte is heel aardig, behulpzaam en attent. Zeker een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Everything was perfect and the summer house is just lovely!

I can't express how much we enjoyed our stay at Morten's summerhouse. The house is very comfortable and fully equipped with modern amenities. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The garden is large and private. On top of that we loved the styling of the interior. There are two ferries to the island, we only used the one to Hammer-Bakke. It runs every 20 minutes and only takes 6-8 minutes to cross. At ±€15,- for a return ticket it might sound pricey but the convenience is absolutely worth it. It's a great place to stay if you want to visit Copenhagen but want a calm and quiet place to stay, surrounded by some beautiful nature. I can't recommend this place and Morten enough, we'd love to return someday.

Wat een heerlijke ervaring in deze prachtige beach cottage! Vanaf het moment dat ik aankwa, voelde ik me direct thuis. De cottage is met zoveel zorg en oog voor detail ingericht; het straalt echt een ontspannen en luxe sfeer uit. De locatie is natuurlijk een droom – wakker worden met het geluid van de golven en een kopje koffie op je eigen veranda met uitzicht op zee, wat wil je nog meer? Maar wat deze plek echt onvergetelijk maakte, was de fantastische service van Dorthe. Ze is niet alleen ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij, maar ook proactief en attent. Haar warme persoonlijkheid en de onberispelijke manier waarop ze alles regelde, zorgden ervoor dat mijn verblijf volledig zorgeloos was.

Meget dejligt sommerhus i flotte omgivelser. Vi nød især godt af det store køkken / alrum. Vi lejede huset over nytår, og kunne helt sikkert finde på at leje det igen i sommerhalvåret. Der var styr på instruktionerne, manglede ikke noget i køkken e.l, og Mark er en super god vært, som svarer hurtigt. Sommerhuset ligger i gåafstand til vandet.

Virkelig hyggeligt sommerhus, der emmede af ferie, afslapning, nærvær og gode stunder. Rent, pænt og værter der skriver en velkomst og byder velkommen med drikkevarer og is. Vi vil helt sikkert komme en anden gang.

Es war ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus, mit Rehen und Eichhörnchen im Garten. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden sofort wiederkommen.
