For some reason Airbnb has us listed on Redwater lake, however, we are on our own private lake next to it. Our cottage is set on a gorgeous spring fed private lake in the woods. If you are looking for peace and quiet, a romantic getaway or fun with your kids, this is the place to be! This is a historical Arts and Crafts home built in 1925 located a block from downtown Palatka, Florida. The location of the home is semi-commercial. The neighors have teenagers and are sometime known to play loud music and present as teenagers. Palatka is a rugged town with areas of distress and has taken longer to recover from recession. It has been identified as one of the poorest counties in the state of Florida. However, the people are quite friendly.
