Villa holiday rentals in Raposeira

Very nice house with beautiful garden and refreshing swimming pool. Has all the comforts and more than enough space. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting with beautiful beaches and in the middle of nature.

Villa 1 was great! Cozy, clean, and thoughtfully appointed. The yard/pool was great. Directions were via coordinates but they were accurate and we had no issues. Close to local beaches but far enough from the commotion near the beach so that we had quiet. Appreciate the. recommendations! There are definitely tourist traps in the area so the recommendations were great. Would come back

We had a lovely stay in the house with our adult children and partners. It was as described, matched the pictures and had everything we needed. One of the bedrooms has a bath with shower head over it, the other three bedrooms had showers. The upstairs bedroom didn't have a wall mounted air conditioning unit but had doors to the balcony. The pool was lovely and wonderfully warm even on some of the windier days! Alice and Sebastien were really helpful and responsive to any questions or requests and also gave us some great tips for where to go and where to eat 'Miam' in Burgau was a real hit with us all but do book in advance. Our first trip to Portugal, and great base to explore from in a peaceful and picturesque area.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looked exactly like the photos. It accommodated 6 adults and 2 children comfortably. Whilst we were there the towels were changed, beds were stripped, pool cleaned, gardens maintained. The villa is very well cared for. Agree with other reviews that you either need a car or be prepared to get a taxi (7 euros to the marina). The walk is doable but part of it is along a quick road with blind corners and no pavement. We didn’t feel safe doing it. We had one issue that was dealt with - thank you for the responsive communication. Thank you for the welcome drink left in the fridge. We were met personally on arrival and could check in early due to a morning flight. We would 100% stay here again and recommend.

What a fantastic property and location. We had high expectations from the photos and price, but they were met and more. Modern with all of the amenities: cooking essentials, beach gear / toys, towels, beers if you're lucky the previous guest didn't finish them! Wendy and Manel are very responsive (when asked - not interfering!) and I am so glad they have shared their home with us for a week. We've walked the coastal path on past visits and wondered what it would be like to live in one of the villas right next to it... Now we know and want to do it again!

Claudia's place was very nice. We were greated by Eduardo and he showed us around & explained all the details about the house and the surrounding area. The house itself was very beautiful with a private pool and we enjoyed it every day. The showers in the bathrooms were wonderful. The beds were super comfortable as well. Claudia's place was clean, tidy and uncluttered. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything someone would require as well as a perk coffee machine & blender. There was also a beautiful bbq available for us to use. We took full advantage of it. Every evening we drove up and over the hill to watch the sunset and the area was very scenic. We 100% recommend this place for anyone traveling to this region in the Algarves.

We loved our stay at sound of the sea villa! It was so relaxing and it was always hard to leave the tranquil setting (which was a good problem to have). The pool was beautiful and warm and it was so private, but close to beautiful beaches. The house itself is well appointed and had everything you could need to cook great meals, grill, sleep well, and feel at home. We all loved having the gym as part of our vacation. The area is so beautiful, with nature all around, but still a quick drive to town or accessible to all of the algarves-40 mins to Lagos, 1 hour to Sagres, 1 hour to Lagoa, etc a. The location is also a prime spot for surfing. We would highly recommend to a family or two that are visiting the area.

We've just returned from a wonderful week here. The villa is beautiful and even better than described. So well equipped with little extra details thought of, such as the games for the family to play and the welcome wine and juice. Sofia was very responsive and sent through some brilliant local recommendations that we tried out. The pool area is fab and our whole family of 5 loved spending time here together. My husband especially loved the outdoor kitchen area and BBQ. Overall a wonderful visit and we'd love to return.

We loved our stay in Benagil. The house on a cliff overlooking the ocean was amazing and peaceful. We hiked to the beach and along the cliffs from the house and we took day trips by car to nearby towns. The house was large and pristine. Marco was very responsive and provided local recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

Our party of 8 stayed at Cristina's Villa for 10 days at the beginning of June. It is truly gorgeous, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, super large bedrooms all with en-suite and as already mentioned on other reviews the view from the terrace is amazing. So lovely to have the pool with sun loungers, many a happy hour was spent there enjoying the sunshine. Cristina is a great host… very helpful and quick to respond if we needed her for any queries or local recommendations etc. We didn’t hire a car but very good beach bars and restaurants are nearby.. we also walked into Lagos several times returning by taxis which were readily available from the main road near the old town… Pingo Doce supermarket are happy to call a taxi for you … Also we were lucky to find the services of N&E taxi company… Vitor and Nuno offer a fantastic friendly service. We all had a great holiday and can thoroughly recommend the Villa of Magical Light.

amazing villa. had such a great 5 days here. villa is stunning and hosts were excellent. swimming pool was a lovely temperature and villa was exactly as described. we would love to stay there again! only slight negative was it was very hot and although there was no air conditioning.(which we were aware of) the fans in the bedrooms could be a bit better!

Possibly the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Great layout with outdoor kitchen pool and an amazing view. Very clean and very friendly and proactive hosts. Thank you!

Villa was perfect for our family holiday, (4 adults & 2 infants) the layout of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the ground floor meant my daughter and granddaughters were right next to each other, we could also be close when by the pool. All rooms very spacious The Villa had all the amenities you would need for a family holiday, the pool area was very nice with various and colourful shrubs, pool was a great size too with steps into it, perfect for young infants. Location was perfect to walk into town for lunch/dinner, approx 10 mins and thats with 2 infants, beach was literally a mile away so only 25 minutes, with the addition of 2 new supermarkets just 5 minutes from the Villa. I would add, that some parts of the Villa are dated and could do with a bit of care but this doesnt mean it was not in a good condition. Communication all through the booking and how to enter Villa etc was 1st class We are already discussing booking again for next year and would highly recommend this Villa. Thanks

This beautiful house was a wonderful little gem overlooking the picturesque Silves. Getting there- Research your route and you will find the house just fine but if you’re hiring a car we would recommend something that can happily drive you “off road” The House- Beautifully presented just as seen in the photos. The view was breathtaking from the moment you walk through the doors. It had everything you needed, including space between rooms for privacy, individual bathrooms for each room, plenty of cooking/eating spaces and a nice size pool with a fantastic view. It is very private so you can really relax in to your holiday. Our host- Andreia and her team were great! She provided instructions and knowledge as we travelled to the house and was readily available at all times. We had a lovely friendly welcome from the whole team! We’d highly recommend ditching the package holiday, booking this air bnb and supporting the locals and the wonderful things they have to offer!

From the start, communication was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and the help was 5 star, we couldn't have asked for more. The villa was just beautiful, it was immaculately clean and extremely well equipped as was the pool area. We had an amazing stay and were made to feel very welcome on arrival and knew that we could make contact at any time. An exceptional villa with exceptional host, would highly recommend 😊

We have stayed last year and everything was great then . My feedback last year was that the beach towels were small however they have acted on the feedback and plenty of large beach towels are supplied . Clean and private spacious villa in a lovely setting . Walk to Porto de mos beach but be aware that Antonio’s restaurant is shut on Mondays .

We had a really nice time at this Airbnb. The place was just as advertised—clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The beach was stunning and only a short walk away, which was perfect. The heated pool was a nice bonus, especially with a 6-year-old, and the whole property was well-kept. The area was quiet and peaceful, just what we were looking for. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. Everything went smoothly, and we’d happily stay here again. A solid choice for a relaxing getaway! A few tips, the best food in Lagos is Tasca do Kiko, also there is a cafe called Everyday People cafe, perfect for breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay at Carole's. The absolute highlight is the beautiful pool, which we used extensively.

Just got back from a 5 day stay and honestly what a beautiful villa! Everything you need, felt like home to home. The whole place is beautiful, outdoor pool with sun beds, a BBQ and outdoor dining area too plus everything you need inside. Set in a beautiful location that’s quiet but also easy to access the marina nearby and other nice places too. Barbara has been so quick on messages and so helpful with everything. I couldn’t recommend enough! We will definitely be back again. Thank you ☺️⭐️

Pia and Volker provided a very beautiful, relaxing haven which enabled us to explore the algarve. They gave a very warm welcome from the beginning. Rui was there to welcome us at 10.00 pm and show us around the property. The property is stunning - spacious, well designed, immaculate and well equipped. The pool, barbecue and outside dining facilities were excellent. The property has its own car parking space - there is space for a second vehicle in the road. There are several stunning beaches within a 5-10 minute driving distance. We would thoroughly recommend the local bakery. The local supermarket was also well stocked. Pia and Volker also provided very comprehensive information on where to visit and dine. We would thoroughly recommend them and would love to return one day.

We had a great stay at the place. Jacky is very responsive and kind! Beautiful location with a great view, 10/10 would recommend!

The house was exactly what we needed for our family holiday. Lots of space, amazing pool, comfy beds and all bits and bobs you need to make a holiday as released as possible with three children! We have a 15,13 and 9 year old. All loved the pool and enjoyed the privacy of the house too. Looking forward to revisiting again really soon. Thank you for being amazing hosts and making our trip so special x
