Alex's house is on a hillside by Lake Tekapo. The scenery is great, and we can see the lake view of Tekapo. The house is similar to a wooden house, and the decoration is very unique. We like it very much. On the night we came, Tekapo was very cold. Alex turned on the heating for us early, and we felt very warm as soon as we entered the door. ☺️ Alex is also a responsible and careful landlord. He replies quickly and communicates pleasantly. We had a warm night in winter.

The house is located in a quiet area, and is great value for the area. It’s also well equipped (including kids toys in one of the rooms). It was nice to be able to have a washer (detergent included) as well as a fireplace. We felt really cosy in the house, once we had the fire going! Definitely recommend. Thanks Ben!

What a great place to base yourself and explore all that the surrounding area has to offer. So close to Omarama and of course Aoraki. So well equipped with everything you need and in great condition. Would definitely recommend

Great location to town and small park, all just a block away. Kitchen was setup nicely. large refrigerator. easy checkout. Nick flower outside, great sunset and sunrise.

Value for money. Nice place in a quiet street, near to the lake and town. Worth staying.

Had a wonderful stay - quiet, surrounded by nature, everything we needed for a clean, comfortable night out in peace. My only criticism is that there was no fire place to keep you warm outside whilst stargazing... the stars were incredible 😍

Chloe was a great host. The accommodation was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and Chloe even had the heat pump on to warm the place up before we arrived on a very cold weekend. :) Lovely peaceful location on the edge of the town but only moments away from the main street, where the supermarket, pubs and bakeries will sort out your hospitality requirements. Plenty of space in the lounge to stretch out. Shower had plenty of pressure which was welcomed.

The house is a typical house for the area. We only stayed there for 2 nights and felt right at home. On the second day we took a hike by the river, away from the tourist crowds. Glad to come back!

This is a very simple cottage, comfortable, warm and welcoming. The outside sitting area is a lovely addition and an enjoyable space to enjoy a cup of tea while being able to view the spacious private back garden. If you enjoy the simple things in life I highly recommend Memories on Maryburn.

great location, close to everything but far enough away for absolute peace. great little house and plenty of space to hang out in the garage or outside. loudest noise was the very squeaky bunk beds that woke everybody with each toss and turn, would be worth replacing as we ended up sleeping on the floor to avoid it.

Definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was warm, cozy & had lots to offer especially if you’re looking for something quiet and relaxing. Our favourite part of this home is the spa!

A very comfortable home away from home, and lovely location.

Wow I don't even know where to begin. Lou and Dion were so warm and welcomed us into their house (which is situated on the farm). The highlight of our stay was the farm tour. Highly recommended for BOTH kids and adults. It's a separate fee of 250nzd at our time of stay and it was well worth it. Dion took us up to his farm up on his 4WD and we went up the mountains where the views are unparalleled and we could get up close and personal with the cows, sheeps, and his sheepdog as well. He shared personal experiences as well as interesting facts about the farm. This beats and commercial stay or visit to a farm. Lou was also very welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. We met with a situation where our car was in a ditch and Lou was so kind to send her nephews Isaac and Hamish to help tow us out of the situation. My family is extremely grateful for their help and hospitality. If you're visiting lake tekapo or any of the surroundings, just stay here already!

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

We had to stay in Fairlie due to the snow in Lake Tekapo and had to made a last minute booking. Was perfect for a night!
