Very charming and very spacious house. The living room with the salamander makes the space very welcoming and the kitchen has all the amenities to have a meal at home and enjoy the space. Despite the bad weather we also managed to take advantage of the pool as the water seemed to be heated and it was nicer than the outdoor temperature. We will return without a doubt.

Private and Relaxing, an outstanding weekend surrounded by nature and silence. Pool was the solution for the extreme heat where we could fresh ourselves and enjoy the sun and view. The place was really comfy and welcoming, and it looks much better in person. The hosts weeks prior to the reservation provided us with all the information we needed and received us in the reservation day with a big smile. Also during the stay they’ve been extremely quick responding to any questions we had. I really enjoyed the experience and thank you so much for letting us stay in your house. Beautiful place and surroundings, cozy home with many rooms and plenty of space. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment aswell. The only thing to note, even though it was rented in winter time, was the state of the pool. We recommend at least covering the swimming pool.

A group of us went over for parachuting - this was a great location, close to the dropzone, and the views are lovely. Great amenities, highly recommended

We absolutely loved our holiday here! It's one of the most beautiful properties I've ever stayed on with Airbnb. The views are incredible and the garden is the perfect place to decompress and relax. João was incredibly responsive and helpful if we had any questions about the house or local recommendations. The house was very nice and exactly like the photographs. Rooms with space and comfortable beds. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary appliances, including kettle, espresso machine and dishwasher. Very nice outdoor space for summer!

The house of Lourdes was a fantastic place to spend time with family. House is spacious and comfortable and the location and surroundings very beautiful and inviting. It is more than the you see on the photos, to really be there you feel like life has been generous! it is one of the best airbnbs i have been :)

We have happily returned from our stay in this splendid home that is even more beautiful than what appears in the photos. It is actually a house with a lot of character, you can see that you live in it and that makes it so cozy; that you feel like you are at home. It is also perfectly decorated, maintaining its antique appearance but having all the needs we require now. So, nothing is missing in the house. We have also been able to enjoy it in winter thanks to its two stoves that have worked non-stop and have undoubtedly allowed to warm up an old house with high ceilings, stone and wood. If someone is friolero don't expect to run into a heated house like in the cities but the stove in the kitchen - like our grandmothers' - is really magical. Also Sam has responded whenever we needed him. The house is in the middle of a village where there is nothing else but next door there are great places. We would definitely come back. Thank you for everything.

Second time staying in the little house which is conveniently situated in the centre of the village with bars,a couple of shops, atm and nice public garden. It has all that's needed for a stay, including a great shower and a comfortable bed. The bread delivery each day is very helpful. Paula is a friendly host with good communication. I would definately stay again and recommend it.

We had an unforgettable, beautiful break. The view from the bedroom and from the balcony was unsurpassed and the vegetarian dinner was a perfect complement to enjoy the time even more. All in all, it was really a beautiful place, the ruins of the old houses surrounded by the rebuilt ones, the nature and the pure relaxation really impressed us. Only the mountain road was a bit unpleasant to drive, but it was incredibly worth it.

The accommodation was very clean, the surrounding area with a vegetable garden and animals is a plus, as well as the saltwater pool. Suitable for families with children. Mr. Zé and Mrs. Clara are very friendly and always available. Thanks. Almeida Rebelo Family.

The village is beautiful, the house too; very comfortable, irreproachable cleaning, decoration with character, space where we like to stay. Communication is easy and affable, there was a misunderstanding on our part with the wifi, which was promptly resolved by the host. The river beach is a few minutes away on foot and it's fantastic. But if there is only energy for one minute walk, you can use the local pool, reserved for guests. We didn't have time to use the ample outdoor barbecue features, but we were sorry. We recommend 100% and we intend to return.

Great place in a pretty and private environment! Perfect quinta to relax before going back to work! The owner was really responsive and friendly, giving us privacy too. Awesome stay and highly recommended!

Leonor is a wonderful caring and warm person. She took great care of us during our stay by being available to our questions about the area, welcoming us warmly in her place with some tea and local specialties, bringing us fresh bread in the morning, eggs from her hens, lettuce from her garden, fair well plater as we left… the place is everything described on the add and it was very welcoming to arrive to a warm fire place as the weather was very rainy and cold. Such a wonderful stay!!! Thank you so much and I highly recommend Leonor’s place if you come in this beautiful region!

The proposed accommodation has been recently renovated, it is very clean, tastefully decorated, and all amenities are brand new. The apartment is in the center of the village, on a pedestrian street, but still very easy to access. There is plenty to do in the area, especially for hiking and nature lovers. Our host was always responsive and provided good advice, and thought of the children since we found some games and touches for them! We recommend Helena for your upcoming stay in Amieira do Tejo!

Rui's place was very quaint and comfortable. it had everything we needed to make our own meals while there and it was centrally located within the town area. It even has a baker just around the corner, for fresh bread. Rui was very helpful, he showed us the elements of the apartment, and walked us through all the places of interest in and around Vila de Rei. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the ideal spots to visit. Had a great weekend!

the stay was 5 stars, memorable certainly! fantastic space and amazing owners with an opening of another world! in addition to showing us where we could go, they always indicated us in the most precise and extraordinary way! 10/10 experience, we advise!
