In Mitten eines Bergpanoramas, unweit vom Meer, liegt die für uns wohl schönste Unterkunft Kretas! Wer Ruhe, Entspannung & Erholung sucht, findet sie hier im kleinen Paradies auf dem Hügel. Im schönen & gut durchdachtem Holzhaus, ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt und noch viel mehr! Ob beim Sterne Beobachten, dem Zirpen der Grillen oder dem Geklingel der Schafsglöckchen, hier kann man einfach mal die Seele baumeln lassen. Wandertouren in die Umgebung und die Stadt Sougia selbst, sind ebenfalls sehr empfehlenswert. Freundliche Menschen, ein lebendiger Ort nebst authentischer & kreativer kretanischer Küche. Corinne haben wir dabei besonders ins Herz geschlossen. Sie empfing uns herzlichst und hat uns zu jeder Zeit Ratschläge für die Umgebung gegeben, authentisch & fernab der Touristenratgeber. Für uns hat hier einfach mehr als alles gestimmt. Danke Corinne, für dein Engagement, wir kommen herzlichst, und auf jeden Fall, sehr gerne wieder!

This place is perfect for people looking for the country Crete experience, while only 30minutes from closely towns. Quiet and comfy, with everything you could want for a restful holiday. All the spaces are awesome. Inside and out. Everything is immaculately cared for. Manya is an exceptional host. Meeting us and then sitting with us for Raki and snacks when we arrived. She showed us how everything worked and had 40 oranges from her own trees, along with a basket of other fruits for us. She also left us alone and we enjoyed many days of peace and quiet laying by the pool and soaking in the sun. The kitchen and all appliances worked great. Beds were comfy and the WiFi was excellent. She truly thinks of everything and more. The nearby towns of Sougia and Paleochora are both nice. Paleochora is bigger, but both have great places to eat and very friendly people. Not a single bad thing to say about this place.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit. Das Haus liegt inmitten eines Olivenhain und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Sally war sehr auf unsere Privatsphäre bedacht. Wir kommen wieder. Wer die Ruhe mag, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben. Es ist alles vorhanden. Sally ist eine sehr gute Gastgeberin. :)

This is the perfect place for a peaceful and cozy getaway! The villa is located in the mountains — quiet, fresh air, and breathtaking views all around. A true oasis of tranquility. The sea is just an 18-minute drive away, and the village where the villa is located is a real Greek gem: authentic, peaceful, and full of charm. The apartment itself is wonderful — every detail has been thoughtfully considered. It’s incredibly comfortable and well-equipped. The beds are cozy, the kitchen has everything you might need, and the towels are soft and fresh. We especially appreciated the lovely welcome gift — a bottle of homemade raki! Konstantinos is an amazing host — always available, kind, and helpful. He gave us great tips on where to go, what to see, and which beaches are worth visiting. His recommendations really made our stay even more enjoyable. We absolutely loved everything — the atmosphere, the location, the attention to detail, and the care shown by the host.

Ein kleines Paradies für Menschen die es gerne Nachts ruhig haben und 2 Grad kühler als in Paleonchora. Für uns war es perfekt in Ausstattung, Lage und Grösse, Zoe eine immer sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Ansprechpartnerin. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzliche Grüße Birgit und Peter

Loved our stay in this remote villa. Amazing views with sunsets from the pool. Beds were very comfortable with quality linens and towels. Nice having the pool heated! House is remote so bring all the food needed. Rather close to Elifonisi beach which was well worth the 20 minute drive. Driving is not for the faint of heart of heart. Many tavernas in the area within 15 minutes drive. Would stay again. Thank you Theoni!

Das Haus Elpida, etwas oberhalb vom Dorfkern Anidri, wurde von Sotiris, dem Besitzer eigenhändig mit viel Sinn für Ästhetik und Praktisches gebaut. Dir Ruhe am Abend und die Aussicht sind phänomenal. Der Kaffee in der Morgensonne mit Beobachtung von Geckos und kreisenden Geiern ist einmalig. Die Heimkehr nachts war eine sinnliche Freude, dem Duft des blühenden Jasmins zu folgen. Wer lernfähig ist, bewältigt den steilen Weg von der Dorftaverne zum Haus, nach etwas Wein und einem Raki mühelos. Die Matratzen sind gross und super und fördern einen erholsamen Schlaf. Der Fußweg durch die Anidri-Schlucht zum Gialiskari Beach ist in etwas mehr als einer Stunde gut machbar. Ich empfehle hierfür feste Schuhe und keine Sandalen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und herzlich und es ergaben sich in den zwei Wochen viele interessante und persönliche Gespräche, die ich nicht vergessen werde. Ich freue mich auf meinen nächsten Besuch. Vielen herzlichen Dank!!!

Wir waren mit unserem Aufenthalt sehr zufrieden. Am Anfang waren wir doch etwas geschockt, wie abgelegen die Wohnung doch ist. Haben es aber lieben gelernt. Viel toller als in einem klassischen Touristen Gebiet. In der Nähe kann man viele Schluchten besichtigen. Der Strand von Sougia ist 20min entfernt mit dem Auto
