Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Port Douglas

We stayed for 7 days as a base to tour PD, Daintree and surrounds with a hire car. The apartment is as pictured and was perfect for us. The location is hard to beat - in the centre of town and yet we found no noise issues. Carolyn was super communicative and a good resource for advice on booking trips to the reef. The apartment is part of a Mantra resort complex, which is the pool pictured. (Pool was great temp, well maintained and was usually quiet).

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at. What a treat to stay at such a clean, stylish, private apartment with a beautiful view. It was SO perfect— peacefully private, close to the beach and shops, but I’m seriously so impressed with how clean and new the place is. Would 1000% come back. Extremely fresh linens and nice washing machine with provided detergents.

Very clean, light filled apartment. 20 minutes walk from the centre of Cairns. Host was very communicative. Addition of washing machine and dryer was very helpful as we travelled with a small baby. Access to pools in the complex also great was to relax in the North Queensland heat!

We had a great stay at David’s apartment. Everything was as described even had a few extra touches like body lotion and sunscreen and everything we need in the kitchen was there. The only negative if I can call it that is there is no view from the balcony other than that we were extremely satisfied with our stay. Would highly recommend staying there if you plan a trip to Palm Cove everything is a 10 to 15 minute walk.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris and Diana’s condo. The condo was spotless and very well stocked. Quick communication from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. We appreciated all the beach towels and pool toys. The condo was exactly as described. My family was really able to relax and enjoy Port Douglas while we were there. If we are lucky enough to make it back to Port Douglas we will be renting from Chris and Diana. Thank you for a great stay!

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay in Port Douglas, made better by the perfect accommodating nature of our host. Nadines place is tucked away on the corner of the main strip on the top floor to provide a beautiful view of the garden and sea. “Bella Vista” was the perfect choice to be right in the middle of all the goodness Port Douglas has to offer.

The apartment is as described - and more. The living area, bedrooms and kitchen were clean and very comfortable. The view from the balcony is nice and the double glazing helped eliminate any noise from the children enjoying the very, very large pool that winds throughout the resort. The winner for us was the large, private upper deck which featured the spa, sun lounge area, sitting / dining area and an outdoor kitchen with 'fridge, basin and BBQ. We made extensive use of the BBQ which had a backup gas bottle and a full set of implements. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and both glass and plastic glasses. While the apartment is a fair way out of the Port Douglas township, the local shuttle bus arrived quickly and dropped us wherever we wanted to go in town. The longest wait was 8 minutes and the return fare is a reasonable $15pp. The Pullman Sea Temple resort is showing its age although lots of cleaning and maintenance work was underway during our stay.

We loved our stay at Niramaya! It was beautiful, peaceful and relaxing yet close enough to Port Douglas that we could easily head into town for a meal, shopping, or excursions. Chris and his team were excellent communicators and responsive to any questions we had!

The house was perfect for our family of eleven. Morning walks to the beach, swimming in the pool, and the sounds of the tropical birds were very enjoyable for someone from Texas. A visit to Korunda Village, Baron Falls, Four Mile Beach, and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef were easily accessible and enjoyed by all. I would recommend this beautiful home to anybody for a wonderful holiday!

Very nice relaxing quiet place. Julie looked after us well even providing 6 nice fresh eggs from her chickens. Would recommend.

Another brilliant stay at peaceful Coral Tides. This is our third and we live the accomodation so much. Everything is perfect including the setting, comfort snd presentation. The pool is a special bonus and hosts so welcoming. Thank you!

Graham and Leigh were wonderful hosts. Their communication and care for our comfort was top notch. Their place was great for our family of six. Plenty of space for our kids to sleep and play games. The house was centrally located to all our activities in Cairns, Kuranda, and Port Douglas. We would have been perfectly happy staying at the house and taking in the view though. The view was breathtaking. If we ever find ourselves in Australia again we would definitely stay at Graham and Leigh’s.

We had the best stay! The place is perfect for families, providing space to be together and to have your own peace and quiet. The surroundings are lush and the pool area was beautiful, we didn’t want to leave.

We had an amazing stay at Tanya’s beautiful 4-bedroom home in Port Douglas! The house was spacious, perfect for our family of four (including two teenagers), with plenty of room for everyone to relax. Having two lounge areas was a bonus, and the kitchen was great—it had everything we needed to cook our own meals after long days out. The pool was a highlight! It was exactly like the photos—sparkling clean and so inviting. Tanya gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants and local attractions, which we found really helpful. One of our favourite tips was to take a morning walk along the stunning 4 Mile Beach, just a short stroll down the street. The location was ideal, situated on a quiet street but only a 5-minute drive to town. We had a rental car, so it was easy to come and go, and the peaceful surroundings made it feel like a retreat. We recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, well-equipped home with a great pool in a quiet, convenient location. Thank you, Tanya.

Great home in a fantastic location. House was clean and tidy on arrival. Easy to check in .Plenty of room inside/outside the home and has a great set out. Large kitchen, dining and lounge area. The outside area and large pool are great. It was nice to have basic amenities supplied like beach towels, toilet paper and kitchen supplies. The home is a 15min walk or 2min drive to Macrossan St where all the shops and restaurants are. Five Mile beach is also a 2min drive. The Marina is also around the corner for trips out to the reef. Overall a great stay in a great location. I would definitely return again . Thanks for a great stay!

This was our first Air BnB experience and it didn’t disappoint. Apartment was perfect for us the 2 of u. It has everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped if you felt like a night in. We had a fantastic 6 night stay and would highly recommend.

Ideal location and very accessible (highly recommend for anyone using a wheelchair). Comfortable bed and great for a stay in Cairns. Lacking basic condiments (salt, pepper and oil) and basic supplies (garbage bags, tongs and chux)

Emma was a great host with a beautiful spot to stay. Everything was easy to find and the place had such great amenities for a good price. My boyfriend and I would both stay there again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful waterfront condo. The location is unbeatable—across the road from the Esplanade with stunning ocean views right from the furnished balcony. The condo was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns!

Great place to stay inside a good resort. Bec’s place was everything we expected, quiet room and location, good space, spa was great and shower had pressure like you never see. Would be back again no worries !

We stayed at the Resort for 6 months. During that time, we always felt comfortable and safe. Sandy and Isabell went out of their way to ensure that we were well looked after; for example, the fridge started playing up and was replaced immediately with a brand new one. The same happened with the washing machine and it too was immediately replaced with a brand-new model. Any queries we had were responded to immediately via the Airbnb message function and Isabell was kind enough to provide her personal mobile number to ensure easy and fast communications. The Resort is beautiful and has well-tended gardens and landscaping and numerous swimming pools. It was also very quiet and peaceful. :) The location of the Resort was ideal for us being close to the airport and a short drive to the CBD. It is also very close to the Botanic Gardens and the Cairns Esplanade. We would not hesitate to recommend the Resort as a beautiful location and Sandy & Isabell as perfect hosts.
