This was the third time we rented the Black House and it's starting to feel like a home away from home. Proximity to the cross country ski trails is fantastic and the house is spotless, cozy and the kitchen is well stocked! Stéphanie is incredibly responsive to all messages and very friendly in all communications. highly recommend!!!!!

le chalet possède tout le nécessaire pour y passer du bon temps: vaisselle en quantité suffisante, outils de cuisine permettant de faire une variété de repas, des jeux de société, une wii, etc. le chalet est situé dans un endroit paisible oú l'on peut entendre le bruit de la rivière. Les hôtes se démarquent de plusieurs airbnb auxquels nous avons été en fournissant le café et des drinks de bienvenue, une touche fort appréciée! Merci encore 😄

We loved our stay at Lise’s space. Plenty of room and in a quiet neighborhood. Located away from the busy city area yet a very short and inexpensive uber ride into the heart of the city. We even walked back a couple of times in the evening it was close enough. Highly recommended staying here.

Cet appartement de ville est parfait pour aller visiter Wendake et les sites historiques wendates. Parfait aussi pour l'accès aux routes dans toutes les directions. Appartement super clean et ensoleillé. Ne pas hésiter.

Strong recommendation! Isabelle's cottage, a converted schoolhouse, is charming, peaceful, and comfortable. The house is extraordinarily well-appointed, with everything you need, particularly in the kitchen. The back patio is a serene place to have a coffee, watch the birds, and enjoy the view over the empty fields. You will need a car. We drove to Québec one day and Ile d'Orleans the next - it's about 45 minutes to each.

A delightful mix of old house (hand-hewn beams and squared-off logs for walls) with new renovations (modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, very clean, etc.). The neighborhood is not particularly beautiful, but we were looking for proximity to the Mont St. Anne xc ski trails and this home is perfectly located for that, along with a small grocery store and gas station a couple hundred meters away. It is both cozy and comfortable, and we will gladly come back again, potentially with other family friends as the house has three apartments and would easily house a large number of people. We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts thought of everything — from fully stocked dishes and cozy bedding to coffee and thoughtful snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were immaculate. We met Holly during our stay and she was so sweet. Although we didn’t meet Nadine in person, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again — it truly felt like a home away from home.

A lovely place to enjoy peaceful time with family or friends! We stayed in early June, and the neighborhood was beautifully green and picturesque. The home offers a stunning view of the hills and is tucked away in a quiet, private area. It was clean and well-equipped with almost all the amenities we needed. Marie was very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more comfortable. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Old Quebec and Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, we had the chance to explore both the city and the national park. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The property is spacious, clean, and offers a peaceful retreat with its private land. The spa and pool table were fantastic additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Clean space as described within walking distance to all Quebec City attractions. Parking spot is small so we opted to leave the car in the garage and take Ubers or walk to the Old City. I think overall good value compared to staying in a hotel, however be aware there is a homeless shelter one block away where a number of homeless people are milling about on the sidewalk so walking home at night from the wrong direction was a little sketchy. Not a problem for four adults but not ideal if traveling with small children in my opinion.

Helpful and proactive host . Lovely and comfortable apartment with everything a guest could need! The bathrooms and towels were especially nice!

Superbe endroit. Tranquille et bien équipé. Nous avons pu avoir une arrivée hâtive ce qui a grandement amélioré notre court séjour d’une seule nuit pour le festival de pont-rouge qui est à moins de 20min en véhicule. Nous allons revenir pour les prochaines éditions et profiter un peu plus de la piscine/spa et peut-être du terrain de golf adjacent.

Très beau séjour pour nous ressourcer. Devant nous une impressionnante chute et une belle rivière. Le chalet est joli et bien aménagé.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour. Malgré le froid intense sentir la chaleur d'un bon feu de bois fait tout oublier. L'emplacement est parfait, l'endroit est tranquille et il y a beaucoup de terrain pour faire jouer la boule de poil. Le chalet est propre et bien équipé nous n'avons manqué de rien. Je recommande sans hésitation.

GC was a fantastic host to work with! Very responsive and flexible on all points. The chalet was beautiful and modern. All areas were very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well supplied and easy to work on. Views were amazing and the area was private — perfect to enjoy quality time with friends and family. 💛

This was our second stay. It’s a great location about 30-40 minutes outside Quebec City. Lots of room for the kids to run and play outside with a beautiful porch set up overlooking the back yard. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, house was very clean. Access to the lake is a very short walk. Johanne and Jean were very attentive and live just down the road. Tous étais parfait! Merci et a l’année prochaine.

Super placé pour relaxer, nous avons vraiment apprécié l’endroit. Très charmant et le spa est un plus à l’expérience. L’hôte avait laissé du lait au frigo, superbe attention. J’aimerais y retourner ☺️

Nous avons passé une incroyable fin de semaine au Yak. La piscine, le projecteur, la terrasse, tout est bien pensé! Havre de paix pour un ressourcement en nature

Perfect location for enjoying nature- lovely views of the river from the house and close to major hiking and biking (in the snow too) trails at Vallee Bras du Nord. Very private. Exceptionally quiet especially in the falling snow. Home is comfortable and warm with huge windows on main levels. Lower level is good for kids or people who don’t want windows. Great outdoor spaces - deck, fire pit. Three types of coffee makers plus a milk frother - made our mornings happy. Good WiFi. Tried the TVs but could not get things to stream - but computers worked for streaming. Maybe was user error. Not lots of storage space on main level for our “big American bags” (we don’t travel light in the winter, need gear!) but huge room on lower level for wet boots, equipment, etc. Snowshoes/poles provided -very helpful. Very helpful hosts (we had lots of questions). One of the nicer AirBnBs we’ve used - both house and location. If you are seeking a remote trip to nature, it’s perfect.
