Holiday rentals with a kayak in Pohenegamook

Beautiful place, right on the water. All the amenities of home in the great north. Couldn't have asked for a better place. We will be back!

A memorable stay for the family, in a beautiful and very well appointed house. The cleanliness, the amenities (only one downside for the TV, you have to provide a mobile phone), the location (quiet and with a magnificent view of the lake), the decoration of the place, all been more than perfect. I strongly suggest this place and Simon is also a great host .

We had a great time at this warm and well-equipped cottage. The cottage was very clean when we arrived, with everything we needed to cook and have fun with family or friends.

This was my second time renting this lake house, and that says a lot. I’m a local boy from the ‘County and live in Oregon, but come home to Maine yearly. This is my favorite rental in the state and this second time was my 50th Airbnb rental overall. The house is perfect. Spacious, well appointed, amazing hosts, and arguably my favorite lake in northern Maine. I can’t say enough good things about staying here. From kayaking last weekend, to Smores at the fire pit and games in the downstairs family room, it’s a 5 star rental. A huge thank you to Merriann, the owners and the town of Eagle Lake. ❤️

we had stayed here once a couple years ago and had a good experience then as well. very responsive and easy to check in and check out. kitchen is one of the best stocked of any rentals we've stayed at. bathroom could use some updating but if it's just two or four of you there's plenty of room and it's a really great location. everything was clean and their dog friendly which is much appreciated!

It was great, if you want a quiet place away from the world that's exactly that, Alex was a very friendly and pleasant host, he took us a tour of the whole lake and even let us use his kayak and pedal boat, it was a great stay, I would highly recommend it.

This property was the perfect halfway point for us to meet our friends, with both parties traveling equal distances. The listing was accurately described, and the host was very responsive—proactively informing us in advance that an amenity might be out of service. In the end, everything worked out fine, but her thoughtfulness was appreciated by all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the near future.

12 of us had a great riding snowmobiles out of the place for a week. Eagle lake is a great little town. We had a blast.

Our stay at Jenn's place exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful time visiting and highly recommend the rental. Lakeview is beautiful with accessible trails for hiking nearby.

We had such a great time!! We loved and felt the peace as soon as we walked in!! It was easy to start a fire to heat up the cabin. We were there during a snowstorm and it was so peaceful and beautiful to watch it snow outside. I would love to come back yearly when we go home to visit our family. The cabin was a great place to wrap up our family holiday busyness and relax for a few days before heading back to the real world.

what an amazing place to stay. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. super nice dock for the boat and excellent fishing. Great access to what the region has to offer and the owners are super friendly and insightful. we look forward to returning!

Great stay in a wooden cabin With a small lake on its shores

The cozy cabin was perfect for our group. We were there for a snowmobile trip and it couldn’t be any better! We lucked out and received 12” of new snow twice while we were there. Driveway was plowed too. We would definitely go back.

Place was amazing. Access to snowmobile trail was convenient.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Forgerie. The location in the middle of the forest was so beautiful and very quiet. We had small problems with mosquitoes, despite good mosquito repellent on windows and door. The Forgerie was very clean and tidy.

A very comfortable place to stay. The door handle to the storm door fell off so we put it back on, but other than that it was a good time.

This was our second summer vacation here it’s absolutely amazing, very peaceful, and relaxing!! The lake provides a cool breeze throughout the cabin. The beds are very comfortable, very clean, and the cabin has all of the amenities you could want or need! The owners of the property are very kind, and provided firewood each evening which we greatly appreciated! Our favorite part of the stay was having campfires, the view of the stars, and listening to the loons! We highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to return!
